Abstract

Education is not only limited to the pragmatic purposes for achieving various desired profession but also substantially, it aims to make a person more valuable in his life. Meanwhile, religion that considered as a greate and absolute value system was delivered particularly in different ways from the value itself. So, it will become the seeds of radicalism in the public interaction. This paper is the result of a conceptual development study that aimed to unravel the roots of radicalism by describing the children abuse facts in the process of religious education in Indonesia, both in family or school. The study explained the details of various aspects of the causes of the violent practices and analyzed it in religious, social and the educational management psychology perspectives AbstrakPendidikan tidak hanya terbatas pada tujuan pragmatis untuk mencapai berbagai profesi yang diinginkan, tetapi juga secara substansial, bertujuan untuk membuat seseorang lebih berharga dalam hidupnya. Sementara itu, agama yang dianggap sebagai sistem nilai yang besar dan mutlak disampaikan terutama dengan cara yang berbeda dari nilai itu sendiri. Jadi, itu akan menjadi benih-benih radikalisme dalam interaksi masyarakat. Tulisan ini merupakan hasil studi pengembangan konseptual yang bertujuan untuk mengungkap akar radikalisme dengan meng-gambarkan anak-anak penyalahgunaan fakta dalam proses pendidikan agama di Indonesia, baik dalam keluarga atau sekolah. Studi ini menjelaskan rincian ber-bagai aspek penyebab praktik kekerasan dan dianalisis dalam perspektif psikologi agama, sosial dan manajemen pendidikan.

Abstract

An E-textbook of Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) is an important device that supports the on-line practical aspects of the teaching Arabic as a foreign language (TAFL). The present study was aimed at describing the characteristics of the design and discourse of the Schulz’s E-textbooks of MSA. The study focused on Schulz MSA E-Textbook as an instructional material package of standard Arabic of the intermediate levels (B1 and B2 levels). The study used the qualitative research approach with the discourse-analysis method of data analyses.The results showed the following findings. The design of the E-package is web-based with multimedia as resources. The content prioritizes on grammar material in each initial lesson unit of the textbook. Although standard modern Arabic is used as the language variant for the language skills, colloquial language variants are given sufficient attention that can be accessed only in the E-edition version of the package. In terms of the contents of the discourse, a wide selection of texts are used with varied themes in the field of education, social affairs, economy, culture,  politics,  religion, environment,  and technology. Citations embedded in header texts do not always match the contents of the discourse. The religious discourse pieces in the materials seem to be positioned more as socio-cultural facts rather than as theological facts. Keywords: E-textbook, Modern Standard Arabic, discourse, learning material  DESAIN DAN WACANA BUKU PELAJARAN BAHASA ARAB BAKU AbstrakBuku ajar elektronik bahasa Arab standar merupakan perangkat penting yang mendukung aspek-aspek praktis online pada pembelajaran bahasa Arab sebagai bahasa asing (PBABA). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan karakteristik desain dan muatan wacana buku ajar elektronik bahasa Arab Standar. Kajian difokuskan pada e-text karya Eckehard Schulz yang banyak digunakan di Indonesia dan dibatasi pada tingkat menengah (tingkat B1-B2). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis wacana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan temuan berikut. Desain e-textbook MSA Schulz berkarakter web based dengan multimedia sebagai resources. Kontennya memprioritaskan materi tata bahasa di setiap awal pelajaran. Meskipun keterampilan berbahasa Arab ditekankan pada penggunaan variasi standar atau modern language, variasi colloquial language mendapat perhatian cukup memadai yang hanya dapat diakses dalam versi e-edition. Dari segi muatan wacana, ia menghadirkan banyak muatan seperti pendidikan, sosial, ekonomi, budaya, politik, agama, lingkungan, dan teknologi. Kutipan yang disematkan di setiap header halaman tidak selalu cocok dengan isi wacana. Yang menarik, wacana agama di dalamnya terlihat lebih diposisikan sebagai fakta sosial-budaya daripada fakta teologis. Kata kunci: buku elektronik, bahasa Arab standar, wacana, kegiatan pembelajaran

Abstract

Islam as a religion with a slogan that brings grace to the universe, however historically not all religious articulations are compatible. One example is extreme attitudes in religion. The most important element in realizing the peace mission in schools is learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This study was conducted to reveal how to maintain religious moderation in schools in preventing extremism. This field study at SMA Negeri 1 (Senior High School) Krembung, East Java, Indonesia uses a qualitative descriptive method. The results showed that school moderation uses three main principles, namely tawassuth, ta'adul and tawazun. These principles are able to create a moderate situation, create a school of peace, progress, and form a generation with moderate views. Abstrak Islam sebagai agama dengan semboyan pembawa rahmat bagi alam semesta, namun secara historis tidak semua artikulasi agama itu cocok. Salah satu contohnya adalah sikap ekstrim dalam beragama. Elemen terpenting dalam mewujudkan misi perdamaian tersebut di sekolah adalah pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Studi ini dilakukan untuk mengungkap bagaimana mempertahankan moderasi beragama di sekolah dalam mencegah ekstrimisme. Studi lapangan di SMA Negeri 1 Krembung, Jawa Timur, Indonesia ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa moderasi beragama sekolah menggunakan tiga prinsip utama yaitu tawassuth, ta’adul dan tawazun. Prinsip-prinsip ini mampu menciptakan situasi yang moderat dan  mewujudkan sekolah damai, berkemajuan dan membentuk generasi yang berpandangan moderat.

Abstract

Curriculum has strategic values in the era of independent campus. This research aims to construct a curriculum based multiple perspectives tends to learners’ preference and diversity in Islamic Higher Education. It’s a mix-method research. Qualitative methods, using naturalistic design with interactive models, while quantitative methods with cross-sectional surveys to determine the level of stakeholder’s understandings and the result of it. The result found that multiple dimensions leads to an eternal-essential closed to the Oneness of God, creativity, capability. The other one refers to instrument; model, knowledge, organization, sequence, need analysis, purpose, value, and stakeholder. Furthermore, the appropriate one tends to an essential-humanistic technologies curriculum in fulfilling for independent campus recognition.
