Abstract

PT CPSI is engaged in the production of electrical equipment. One of the products are Current Transformers and Autoclaves. In production activities, when loading-unloading Current Transformers to and from the Autoclave, problems are encountered, such as cases of accidents that often occur and disturbing in the production process. Cause of accidents are lack of awareness of these employees that will have implications for the magnitude of the risk that must be borne by workforce and company. The purpose of this study is determining record of work accidents, hazards contained in the loading unloading area, risk assessment, risk control and risk control proposals at PT CPSI. This study uses the HIRADC method, histogram, Pareto diagram, and fishbone diagram. Based on observations, company data related to K3 and interviews with the directors of PT CPSI, obtained a history of work accidents, the risk matrix classification in 2020 obtained 1 case with extreme risk on work in the Autoclave, 2 cases high risk level, 2 cases for the moderate risk and 12 cases low risk were obtained. In 2021 there was increasing safety work experience which can be seen from decreasing rate of work accidents by 7 cases with low risk.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the Economic Order Quantity and Just In Time inventory methods to determine which inventory management strategy is best for PT XYZ. Observation, documentation, and interviews are the data collection methods used in this study. EOQ Formula, Safety Stock, Reorder Point, and Just In Time Formula are the data analysis techniques used in this study. The findings show that the component cost of raw material inventory using the EOQ method, storage costs IDR 2,312/order, and total inventory costs IDR 16,775,553. The JIT method reveals that the total cost of inventory is IDR 1,798,711. An inventory system with JIT that only has an inventory cost of 1,798,711 can reduce costs by about 43% more effectively, according to JIT and EOQ studies. Abstract

Environmental problems are important because they affect the lives of all humans. Therefore, company management needs to develop sustainable strategies. This research was carried out to look at how to integrate environmental principles into sustainable company management strategies. This study will employ a descriptive qualitative methodology. The data for this investigation is derived from diverse research findings and prior studies that remain pertinent to the current research. The results of this research then found that there were various problems faced in integrating environmental principles, such as cultural challenges, economic obstacles, and pressure from stakeholders. However, even though various challenges need to be faced, the impact of environmental integration is quite large. This includes improving the company's image, resource efficiency, and attracting investors. By using the right techniques, the environmental performance carried out by the company can be achieved well.

Abstract

Projects are activities that are temporary in nature, have deadlines, budgets, resources and have product specifications to be produced. The case study of this research is the Matarbari Throat Ring Unit-2 fabrication project carried out by PT. Dui Esa Superior . The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that cause project delays, and to find out how long the duration and the optimal cost for the project are. The methods used are FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), CPM (Critical Path Method), and PERT (Project Evaluation and Review Technique). The results of direct field observations and interviews, as well as analysis and evaluation using the FTA, CPM and PERT methods, obtained 19 basic event factors causing project delays, namely labor shortages, workers lack of understanding of drawings, bad weather / rain , and others. There are 9 basic event combinations or minimum cut sets, namely (D1*D2*D3), (D4*D5), (C3), (D6), (E1*E2), (E3*E4*E5), (F1 ), (F2*F3*F4), (F5*G1*G2). The optimal duration of the Matarbari Throat Ring Unit-2 project is 57 days from the normal 61 days with a 69.15% chance. The total optimal cost of the Matarbari Throat Ring Unit-2 project with the optimal duration is Rp. 127,772,400.

Abstract

This research was conducted to measure the effectiveness and application of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) method, especially on the Focused Improvement pillar on the Printing Packaging machine at PT. Ultra Prima Plast. The research was conducted using quantitative data and an Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) analysis approach. The OEE value was analyzed using Six Big Losses (SBL) to find the dominant factor causing the loss. The loss factor is then classified with the 80/20% formula as a reference for making Fishbone Diagrams. Fishbone Diagram analysis is carried out to find the cause and effect or root causeof each loss. The root of the problem obtained is then given a suggestion for improvement and analyzed using the 5W+1H method. The results of the study obtained an average value of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of 28%. Thisvalue is obtained from several calculations including the Availability Rate 97%, Performance Rate 20% and Quality Rate 98%. This value is still below the world category that has been seet by JIPM. which is 85%. The losses on the printing packaging machine are yield losses wich is 58% and reduce speed losses which is 23%. The roots on the problem found were the absence of planed maintenance and autonomus maintenance on Laminasi packaging machine and unmaintained environment inadequate knowlage of human resources and negligance of work procedures in the field.
