Abstract

A well constructed communications between doctorand patient is one of the keys to successful doctorsin providing medical service efforts. Unsuccessfuldoctor medical problems if communicated well willnot give rise to a dispute, but rather a medicalsuccess achieved whatsoever if it is notcommunicated, and patients feel not satisfied canalso give rise to disputes or medical disputes. In the profession of medicine communicationbetween doctors and patients is the mostimportant component and is important in giving thewaiter points towards the patient. The effectivenessof communication between doctor and patient willcreate success in the process of patient care,treatment given aims to improve the health statusof the patient. Health communication include the utilization ofservices of communication to convey messages andinfluence the decision making process related tohealth management and enhancement efforts byindividuals and community. In addition, it alsoincludes health communication activitiesdisseminate information about health to thecommunity in order to be achieved conduct healthyliving, creating awareness, change attitudes andmotivate individuals to adopt the recommendedhealthy behaviors become the main purpose of health communication.

Abstract

Strategi perusahaan dalam promosi untuk memasarkan produknya sangat beragam, salah satunya dengan iklan. Untuk mencapai keefektifan dalam sebuah iklan maka akan diperlukan sebuah iklan yang kreatif dan menarik bagi target market. Kreatif iklan dalam sebuah promosi terbagi dari bermacam-macam iklan, penelitian ini akan melihat seberapa besar pengaruh kreativitas iklan melalui penggunaan endorser. Endorsement diartikan sebagai media untuk mengkomunikasikan sebuah merek yang dimana selebritis berperan untuk mempromosikan produk tersebut dengan memanfaatkan potensi yang ada pada diri selebriti yaitu dari kepribadian, popularitas serta citra yang melekat pada diri mereka ataupun seseorang yang ahli dalam produk yang ingin di promosikan. Faktor dari endorser yang meliputi kredibilitas endorser, keselarasan endorser dengan produk, kejelasan makna dalam iklan, juga multiple brand terhadap minat beli. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan paradigma positivis. Dalam penelitian ini, Pocari Sweat menggunakan selebriti Endorser yaitu Jessica Veranda dan Nabilah dalam mempromosikan produknya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Endorser terhadap minat beli komunitas (penggemar JKT48). Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 96 orang responden yang merupakan komunitas atau penggemar JKT48. Pengolahan data menggunakan analisis regresi dengan SPSS 16.0. Dari Hasil penelitian menujukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif variabel kreatifitas iklan melalui penggunaan endorser (kredibiltas, keselarasan, kejelasan dan multiple brand) yang dimiliki oleh endorser terhadap minat beli komunitas (penggemar JKT48).

Abstract

Corona virus transmission is very fast. In a span of 2 months, this virus has spread to 28 countries, infected more than 40,000 people and killed more than 1,000 people in China. This has caused many people to panic so that they misunderstand information and are consumed by hoaxes. The application of risk communication that combines elements of speed and accuracy is very important in preventing transmission of the Corona virus. Where the social and economic impacts resulting from the dissemination of misinformation can be more severe than the spread of the virus itself. For this reason, this activity was carried out with the aim of controlling the chaos and information that developed in the community, so that it did not become a new disaster. Governments, research institutes and other authorities must be able to communicate science-based risks to foster public trust. The goal is so that the public can be more alert, prepare themselves, and reduce the impact caused by the Corona virus. Society needs explanation not only by bureaucrats, but also scientific explanation by experts. Scientists and governments must be present to fill in the information gaps. Because if it is not filled in, it can provide room for hoaxes to emerge. To get a perspective from the world of health, in the implementation of this activity the lecturers of the Communication Science study program collaborated with the lecturers of the Medicine study program at Abdurrab University Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Communication between doctor and patient is the most important component in providing health care. A doctor's professional attitude is shown when dealing with his duties, which means being able to complete his duties according to his role and function; able to manage themselves such as punctuality, division of professional duties with other personal tasks and able to deal with various types of patients and able to cooperate with other health professions. The professional attitude of a doctor will be seen from the patient handling process which will be a measure of success and professionalism. In this study, researchers looked at the effectiveness of medical communication between doctors and patients and their families of former members of the 2019 election KPPS in Pekanbaru City. The results of this study indicate that the patient's and patient's family assessed the communication that the doctor made while treating the patient was effective. This can be seen from the way doctors convey information to patients and their families, doctors are able to build a sense of secure and trust to the doctors which are the basic for effective communication.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the Effectiveness of Word Of Mouth (WOM) in Marketing Communications Rotte Bakery Pekanbaru. The population in this study were Rotte Bakery Consumers, Tampan Pekanbaru District, namely male and female. The total number of people in the Tampan District who became the population in this study was 307,947 people. The number of samples to be taken for this research is 100 respondents, this sample is determined according to the Slovin formula. The data analysis techniques used in this research are validity test, reliability test, normality test, simple linear regression test and hypothesis testing using t test using SPSS 23 software. The value of R Square or the Coefficient of Determination (KD) shows the regression model formed by the interaction of the independent variable and the dependent variable. The KD value obtained is 0.521. So it can be interpreted that the independent variable X has a contribution effect of 52.1% on the Y variable. On the influence of some marketing communications other than Word Of Mouth (WOM), it is possible that there are communication strategies other than Word Of Mouth (WOM) communication, which is 47.9%. That the t-test calculation is t-count 10,333 > t- table 1,984 at a significance level of 5% (0.05) which means that Ha is accepted, namely Word Of Mouth Communication (WOM) in Effective Rotte Bakery Marketing Communication.

Abstract

Media digital saat ini memiliki peran besar sebagai sumber informasi utama dan mampu membawa sesuatu yang baru terhadap lingkungan sekitar. Media digital juga berperan sebagai alat utama dalam penyebaran budaya populer, serta berfungsi sebagai mengenalkan budaya populer pada khalayak umum. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah bagaimana peran media massa sebagai media perantara dalam penyebaran budaya populer pada komunitas Moarmy Pekanbaru. Penulis menggunakan teori imperialisme sebagai pisau analisis dalam penelitian ini yang dianggap relevan. Adapun metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif melalui pendekatan netnografi. Penulis melalukan wawancara online sebagai pengumpulan data utama dengan 4 informan menggunakan media Whatsapp, serta melakukan observasi secara online melalui media Whatsapp sebagai data pendukung dengan analisa triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian ini adalah media yang berpengaruh pada komunitas Moarmy dalam pembentukan budaya baru yaitu Twitter dan Youtube. Perubahan yang terjadi setelah mengonsumsi media massa adalah perubahan dalam segi emosional, gaya berpakaian, perilaku, serta berbicara menggunakan bahasa campuran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dibuat dengan tujuan untuk melihat seperti apa penyusunan pesan dakwah yang terdapat pada konten akun instagram @kpopers.hijrah dengan melakukan analisa terhadap konten. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan bentuk penelitan kepustakaan, yang mana penelitian ini nantinya akan menjelaskan tentang penyusunan pesan dakwah yang terdapat pada konten akun instagram @kpopers.hijrah. Hasil penelitian ini berupa analisa beberapa konten yang terdapat pada konten akun instagram @kpopers.hijrah yang berfokus pada penyusunan pesan dakwah. Penyusunan pesan dakwah tersebut terbagi menjadi 3 poin utama yang disusun berdasarkan teori Logika Penyusunan Pesan oleh Barbara O’Keefe. Dengan mengetahui seperti apa penyusunan pesan dakwah yang dilakukan oleh tim kpopers.hijrah, maka para pendakwah pemula diharapkan dapat menjadikannya sebagai acuan dalam berdakwah agar dakwah yang disampaikan tidak bersifat menggurui dan kasar, sehingga sasaran dakwah yang mendengarkan maupun melihat konten dakwah tersebut merasa nyaman dan tidak terpojokkan.

Abstract

This study aims to explain teachers' difficulties in designing innovative digital media for sociology learning. Researchers are interested in conducting this research because there are still many teachers who still experience difficulties in designing innovative digital learning media so that this makes the teaching and learning process not varied. This study used a descriptive qualitative research approach, with a case study research type, the selection of informants was carried out by purposive sampling with 7 informants namely 3 students, 2 sociology teachers, 1 school principal, 1 curriculum representative. Data collection in this study was carried out by observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Data Reduction, Data Display, and Conclusion Drawing/ Verification. The research location is SMA Negeri 2 Dumai. The results of this study indicate the difficulty of teachers in designing innovative media for sociology learning caused by internal and external factors. The internal factors included; the habit of not using the media, the ability to analyze the needs of difficult learning materials, mistakes in understanding the student center, difficulty understanding student learning styles, and not making enough use of the facilities and infrastructure provided by the school. Meanwhile, the internal factors of the teacher do not have free time to create innovative learning media.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan coffee shop di kota Padang sangat pesat pada masa pandemi. Jumlah coffee shop yang terus bertambah perlu diimbangi dengan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan barista karena kualitas barista berdampak pada sustainability of the coffee shop. Realitanya, terdapat dua masalah utama yang dihadapi coffee shop: (1) para barista yang bekerja di coffee shop merupakan individu yang memiliki pengetahuan yang minim terkait pengolahan kopi, (2) akses pelatihan kopi professional yang terbatas di Pulau Jawa sehingga tidak terjangkau oleh para barista maupun calon barista. Berdasarkan masalah di atas, perlu adanya kegiatan pendampingan melalui kelas pelatihan kopi professional yang dilaksanakan bersama mitra Rimbun Coffee melalui FGD dengan mitra untuk mengidentifikasi masalah dan mendiskusikan solusi yang disepakati secara partisipatif dan tepat sasaran, diskusi dengan barista dan pemilik coffee shop, menyusun modul dan pelatihan keterampilan mengajar bagi calon fasilitator pada pelatihan kopi professional.

Abstract

Industry 4.0 has influenced the process of human communication from face-to-face to virtual. The communication process aligns with the Cyber-Physical System (CPS) concept. The CPS concept shows what is physically represented in cyberspace and vice versa. This has resulted in content production and distribution in the mass media adopting technological developments summarized in the CyberPhysical and Smart Factory systems. The adoption of technology that the mass media should carry out is a challenge for the sustainability of the media industry to carry out the function of the press. Thus, this article offers forms of technology adoption in the mass media using the literature review method in previous studies. The literature review results in this article offer technology adoption in the mass media from the perspective of industry 4.0. The form of technology adoption is the process of computational journalism as a production action based on Smart Factory. Furthermore, news automation is a production act and a CPS-based news distribution. This production and distribution process should involve the mass media workforce, which requires an approach to technology adoption by humans in the future mass media.
