Abstract

Kajian ini membahas tentang mengoptimalkan kompetensi guru dalam mengembangkan peserta didik untuk mengaktualisasikan diri yang meliputi memfasilitasi peserta didik mengembangkan berbagai potensi akademik maupun non-akademik. Potensi non-akademik dapat berupa soft skill untuk terjun ke dunia usaha sehingga dapat mandiri sesuai dengan cita-cita bangsa. Pelaksanaan dilakukan dua tahapan yaitu tahapan pertama pemberian materi yang dalam bentuk seminar satu hari dan dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan selama enam kali. Guru-guru diberikan pre-test dan post-test untuk melihat kemampuan awal dan sebagai evaluasi kemampuan guru sebelum dan sesudah pemberian materi dan pelatihan. Melalui pelatihan ini guru-guru memiliki kemampuan dalam menyeduh kopi dengan menerapkan teknik manual brewing. Sehingga soft skill yang dimiliki guru akan ditransfer kepada anak hambatan pendengaran pada mata pelajaran tataboga atau vocasional. Penerapan teknik manual brewing dalam penyeduhan kopi dirasa perlu diberikan kepada guru-guru agara dapat dipraktekkan lansung dan dimasukkan sebagai bahan ajar karena keberadaan penyandang disabilitas di Kota Padang khususnya dan Sumatera Barat pada umumnya berada pada lingkungan yang memiliki kekayaan kearifan lokal. Salah satu yang memiliki pasar yang cukup luas dan peminat yang terus-menerus adalah minuman kopi. Penyajian kopi yang terus digemari konsumen adalah dengan teknik manual brewing karena teknik ini memiliki keunikan tersendiri menciptakan cita rasa keaslian kopi itu sendiri. Sehingga hal ini akan menjadi peluang bagi anak hambatan pendengaran untuk bekerja dan bahkan membuka usaha sendiri.

Abstract

A dialogue with the community and the government of the Batipuah Baruah village was held to see the problems faced by the community today. In addition to ensuring that community service is participatory, this is also to ensure that the solutions offered are targeted. From this dialogue, found the problem on economic and socio-cultural sector. On economic sector, hidden unemployment with productive age is still found, while the use of online platforms in carrying out and developing economic activities by the Batipuah Baruah village youth is also still lacking. On socio-cultural issues, there are still non-optimal use of media (information and communication technology), in this case new media (websites, social media, and/or other online media). Utilization of information technology is a necessity today to answer these problems. Through situation analysis, the service program that is carried out is media content production training. Program implementation methods and approaches are training with pre-program, planning, production, and distribution, also post-program stages. Through this activity, it is possible to increase the ability of youth in Batipuah Baruah's Karang Taruna Nagari in planning, implementing and distributing content by producing 28 contents in the form of photos, videos and texts that are part of citizen journalism activities.

Abstract

The team ensures that the program is participatory and on target by dialogue with the community and Nagari Batipuah Baruah government. From this dialogue found the essential issues related to public information disclosure. Among them, the understanding of the Nagari Batipuah Baruah apparatus regarding Information Commission Regulation No. 1 of 2018 concerning Village Public Information Service Standards that have not been developed; also, the capacity of the Nagari government apparatus that has not been fully trained to enter and update information and data on the Nagari official website. The solution to this problem is to carry out activities facilitated with assistance directly involving the Nagari Batipuah Baruah government and other related parties. This community service program aims to increase the knowledge, understanding, and ability of the Nagari Batipuah Baruah government to implement village public information services and optimize digital platforms so that public information disclosure can be achieved. The method of implementing the activities is socialization, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), and training entirely run offline by complying with health protocols. After all the methods were implemented, the Nagari Batipuah Baruah government apparatus received a positive response from the Musyawarah Kerja Sekretaris Nagari (MKSN), which responded to the issue of public information disclosure by holding a meeting with the Nagari Secretary throughout the Tanah Datar Regency. In addition, the problem with the Nagari Batipuah Baruah website, which previously did not appear on the Google search page, had to be searched manually by typing www.batipuahbaruah.web.id has also been resolved through this service program.

Abstract

Penelitian dilaksanakan bertujuaan membuat dan mengembangkan media berbasis audio visual mengenai materi integrasi sosial yang layak digunakan dari segi validitas, praktikalitas dan efektifitas. Pengembangan media audio visual yang dikembangkan bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir analisis pada mata pelajaran sosiologi kelas XI. Media pembelajaran berbasis video dirasa cukup efektif digunakan, karena memiliki pengaruh yang terhadap daya tarik siswa untuk mempelajari kompetensi yang diajarkan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Reserch and Development (R&D). Model yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan ADDIE milik Dick and Carry. Uji coba produk dilakukan pada siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Payakumbuh dengan jumlah 33 peserta didik. Kelayakan produk ini dari segi validitas telah diuji oleh dua orang ahli media dan 1 orang ahli materi. Terakhir untuk menguji keefektifan media didapatkan dari perbandingan t-hitung > t-tabel yang artinya media pembelajaran berbasis video layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan analisis peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Sosiologi.

Abstract

Today's most fundamental problem with online media is finding a suitable business model to adapt to the digital world. This study aims to determine how nytimes.com applies the implementation of the business model. Using a qualitative approach, this research applies the case study method with literature studies, literature analysis, and audio-visual material as the data collection techniques. In the first stage, disruptive innovation theory is used to read the pattern of online media development. The next stage, the nytimes.com business model is analyzed using a four-element business model: value proposition, resources, processes, and profit formula. This study found that nytimes.com embodies the value proposition in the practice of service journalism with the orientation of providing services and guidance for readers. Meanwhile, the collaboration between the quality of newspaper journalists and the digital team in the Interactive News Team, Beta Team, and Express Team units supports nytimes.com's resources. Furthermore, in the component process, nytimes.com prioritizes collaboration between departments. Finally, in formulating the profit formula, nytimes.com adheres to three revenue models: subscription, advertising, and transactional

Abstract

This study discusses the adaptation strategy of SMA N 1 Payakumbuh with zoning and knowing the changes that have occurred after the zoning system at SMA N 1 Payakumbuh. This study uses a descriptive approach with qualitative research methods. The data collection techniques that the researchers used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used in this study used the Miles and Huberman interactive model through several activity procedures including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or levers. The results showed: first, changes in student input which were relatively heterogeneous after the implementation of the zoning system led to changes in learning patterns; second, the lack of public understanding of zoning; third, the strategy carried out by schools at SMAN 1 Payakumbuh in adjusting to the zoning is to make extracurricular activities at this time and fourth, inculcating values, increasing motivation by subject teachers and counseling teachers (Counseling Counseling).

Abstract

Pertumbuhan coffee shop di kota Padang sangat pesat pada masa pandemi. Jumlah coffee shop yang terus bertambah perlu diimbangi dengan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan barista karena kualitas barista berdampak pada sustainability of the coffee shop. Realitanya, terdapat dua masalah utama yang dihadapi coffee shop: (1) para barista yang bekerja di coffee shop merupakan individu yang memiliki pengetahuan yang minim terkait pengolahan kopi, (2) akses pelatihan kopi professional yang terbatas di Pulau Jawa sehingga tidak terjangkau oleh para barista maupun calon barista. Berdasarkan masalah di atas, perlu adanya kegiatan pendampingan melalui kelas pelatihan kopi professional yang dilaksanakan bersama mitra Rimbun Coffee melalui FGD dengan mitra untuk mengidentifikasi masalah dan mendiskusikan solusi yang disepakati secara partisipatif dan tepat sasaran, diskusi dengan barista dan pemilik coffee shop, menyusun modul dan pelatihan keterampilan mengajar bagi calon fasilitator pada pelatihan kopi professional.

Abstract

Industry 4.0 has influenced the process of human communication from face-to-face to virtual. The communication process aligns with the Cyber-Physical System (CPS) concept. The CPS concept shows what is physically represented in cyberspace and vice versa. This has resulted in content production and distribution in the mass media adopting technological developments summarized in the CyberPhysical and Smart Factory systems. The adoption of technology that the mass media should carry out is a challenge for the sustainability of the media industry to carry out the function of the press. Thus, this article offers forms of technology adoption in the mass media using the literature review method in previous studies. The literature review results in this article offer technology adoption in the mass media from the perspective of industry 4.0. The form of technology adoption is the process of computational journalism as a production action based on Smart Factory. Furthermore, news automation is a production act and a CPS-based news distribution. This production and distribution process should involve the mass media workforce, which requires an approach to technology adoption by humans in the future mass media.
