Abstract

Abstract A research article is a scientific paper that contains the results of research conducted by a person or a group of researchers. With many research articles, the quality of life in the community will be better. However, in Indonesia itself, the publication of research results is still relatively low. This is due to the difficulty of writing articles. This difficulty is often found in lecturers and students, especially those experienced by students on private campuses such as Muhammadiyah Palopo University, Nahdlatul Ulama University of Indonesia, and Al-Azhar Islamic University Mataram. This activity is one of the efforts to overcome these problems. With this activity, it is hoped that participants can be helped using Software that supports research, such as Grammarly and Mendeley.

Abstract

During the implementation period as well as during the maintenance period, there was a lot of work improvement, demolition, or in other words there was a lot of rework, where this rework illustrates the poor quality performance of the project implementation. Many aspects at the implementation stage of this construction project can cause product quality failure (non-performance) so that it must be disassembled and reworked, one of these factors is caused by the aspect of human resources. Quality performance problems that lead to rework can be said to often occur in the implementation of construction projects, both in the type of road projects, bridges, buildings, waterworks, and other types of construction projects. Rework causes cost overruns in project implementation which impact on project cost performance, and ultimately affect overall company performance. One of the dominant causes of the rework incident, among other aspects, is human resources. This research uses descriptive research method. The role of human resources is essentially one of capital and holds the most important position in achieving company goals. To achieve the success of a company not only in terms of technological excellence, but the role of human resources is the most important component in achieving company success.

Abstract

This study explores the relationship between leadership styles, self-efficacy, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment among rural administrative officials on Sumbawa Island. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the research combines quantitative data from surveys and qualitative insights from interviews across four districts: Bima, Dompu, Sumbawa, and Sumbawa Barat. The findings indicate that transformational leadership significantly enhances organizational commitment, with Bima exhibiting the highest commitment scores (mean = 4.18), followed by Sumbawa (mean = 3.92). In contrast, transactional leadership, more common in Dompu, correlates with lower commitment (mean = 3.09). Self-efficacy also plays a crucial role, with higher scores associated with increased job satisfaction and commitment, particularly in Sumbawa (mean = 3.75) and Bima (mean = 3.38). Job satisfaction mediates the relationship between leadership styles and organizational commitment, underscoring its importance in fostering a dedicated workforce. The study reveals significant contextual differences, emphasizing the need for tailored leadership development programs that address specific socio-cultural and demographic factors. Key contributions include empirical evidence supporting transformational leadership in rural administration and the integration of self-efficacy into leadership theories. Recommendations for future research include longitudinal studies and multi-source assessments, while practical applications suggest focusing on transformational leadership training, enhancing self-efficacy, and improving job satisfaction through better working conditions and career advancement opportunities. By addressing these factors, rural administrations can enhance organizational commitment and improve governance outcomes, ultimately contributing to sustainable rural development.
