Abstract

Optimizing the use of home yards is one of the efforts to improve food security in agriculture through vegetable cultivation. The number of vegetable seed products causes someone who will buy vegetable seeds to first seek information about each vegetable seed, thus taking a long time to make a decision. This study aims to implement the Multi-Attribute Decision Making (MADM) approach with Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) on a vegetable seed selection decision support system, in order to obtain the best alternative that suits your needs. The WASPAS method has the ability to solve multi-attribute by optimizing the assessment for selecting the highest and lowest values ​​in obtaining the best alternative. Based on the case studies conducted, the WASPAS method was able to determine the best vegetable seeds with the best alternative results, namely Known You Seed Brokoli F1 (A2) with a Qi value of 0.7854, then followed by an alternative to Infarm Benih Kangkung (A1) with a Qi value of 0, 7710, Daily Farm Sawi Putih (A3) with a Qi value of 0.7330, Mira Mentimun Hibrida F1 (A4) with a Qi value of 0.7225 and Benihpedia Daun Bawang (A5) with a Qi value of 0.5992. The developed system produces a valid WASPAS method, because the results are no different from manual calculations. In addition, the results of black-box testing show that the developed system has been running well.

Abstract

The technologies are growing rapidly nowadays including the of information of technology. In the era of using digital information technology, websites make the employees as a user itself easy to provide a service, improve the work performance, convenience, time, effort and resources, so that can make employees do their jobs more quickly and efficiently. Department of Information Technology of Sembilanbelas November Kolaka University has collected many documents and saved them as physical archives. However, the number of documents will continue to increase every day if there is no rule to manage it well. The purpose of this socialization is to help lecturers and staff to archive the physical documents of employees into digital documents. Those physical documents are changed into Portable Documents Format (PDF) form or digital images and uploaded into the website of Digital Employee’s Archive Document Management Information System. So that there is no longer a collection of physical documents. The socialization activities have been doing well and showed by the enthusiasm of the participants by doing the activities. Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi saat ini sangat berkembang pesat termasuk di dalamnya yaitu perkembangan teknologi informasi. Di era penggunaan teknologi informasi berbasis digital, penggunaan website telah memudahkan para pegawai untuk memberikan pelayanan, meningkatkan efisiensi kinerja, kenyamanan, waktu, tenaga dan sumber daya, sehingga membuat pegawai melakukan tugasnya lebih cepat dan efisien. Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka terkhususnya pada Fakultas Teknologi informasi setiap harinya telah banyak mengumpulkan dokumen dan menyimpan dokumen tersebut sebagai arsip fisik Peningkatan jumlah arsip setiap harinya jika tidak dikelola dengan benar maka akan terjadi penumpukan. Tujuan dari kegiatan sosialisasi ini adalah untuk membantu para pegawai yaitu dosen maupun tenaga kependidikan untuk melakukan pengarsipan dokumen kepegawaian berbasis digital, dalam hal ini tidak perlu lagi menyimpan dokumen secara fisik, akan tetapi dalam bentuk file PDF atau gambar untuk diunggah ke dalam website Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan Dokumen Arsip Kepegawaian Berbasis Digital, sehingga tidak terjadi lagi penumpukan dokumen fisik. Dari hasil kegiatan sosialisasi yang telah dilakukan telah berjalan dengan baik serta para peserta kegiatan sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan karena merasa terbantu dengan adanya kegiatan sosialiasi ini dalam hal pengarsipan dokumen kepegawaian berbasis digital.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan penggunaan Microsoft PowerPoint sebagai media pembelajaran kepada para guru di sekolah. Penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam pembelajaran semakin meluas dan penting untuk memahami penggunaan Microsoft PowerPoint sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien. Beberapa isu terkait dengan penggunaan Microsoft PowerPoint sebagai media pembelajaran adalah kurangnya pemahaman tentang fitur-fitur yang ada dalam PowerPoint, kurangnya kreativitas dalam penyusunan materi, dan kurangnya penggunaan media tambahan yang mendukung dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Microsoft PowerPoint dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan minat dan motivasi belajar siswa serta mempermudah proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan metode pelatihan praktis dan interaktif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa para guru memiliki pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang fitur-fitur PowerPoint sebagai media pembelajaran dan mampu mengembangkan materi yang lebih kreatif dan menarik. Para peserta juga mampu memanfaatkan media tambahan yang mendukung pembelajaran seperti gambar, video, dan animasi. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa pelatihan penggunaan Microsoft PowerPoint sebagai media pembelajaran sangat penting dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan para guru dapat memanfaatkan Microsoft PowerPoint sebagai media pembelajaran dengan lebih optimal dan efektif.

Abstract

At present, public opinion regarding the selection of insurance products is very low because people still do not understand enough to insure themselves against a product that will guarantee their necessities of life. Especially now that there are so many insurance products out there, it's likely that people don't want to register for insurance. Therefore, people must be careful in choosing an insurance product so that it fits what they want. The Decision Support System is a computerized system and is designed to assist management in making decisions to solve semi-structured and unstructured problems so that the decision-making process can be of higher quality. This application that will be made is an application that is guided by the MOORA method. Therefore, an application that is guided by the MOORA method is very suitable for calculating insurance product selection. From the results of our research we conducted the MOOSRA and MOORA methods for selecting insurance products easier and more precise than the manual work method. applying the MOORA method produces an alternative A5, namely Prudential with a value of 0.217 as the best alternative.

Abstract

Information and communication technology (ICT) has become an integral part of daily existence in the digital age. Internet penetration, smartphone usage, and the adoption of technology-based applications have all accelerated the growth of ICT usage in Indonesia. Nonetheless, not everyone has the same level of proficiency with ICT. In order to comprehend the characteristics of ICT users in Indonesia, the research seeks to classify ICT proficiency among adolescents and adults in Indonesia. This study classifies ICT proficiency data among adolescents and adults in Indonesia using data mining techniques, specifically the K-Means clustering algorithm. The classification of ICT proficiency data among adolescents and adults in Indonesia based on predetermined characteristics is the outcome of this study. The results indicate that provinces close to the capital city center tend to have a high proportion of 15- to 24-year-olds with ICT skills. The region of Papua that is farthest from the capital city has the lowest percentage of ICT proficiency. Rural areas typically possess fewer ICT skills than urban ones.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk pelatihan penyusunan artikel ilmiah bagi 37 guru di Kabupaten Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Masalah yang diselesaikan dalam kegiatan ini adalah kurangnya pemahaman dan keterampilan para guru dalam menyusun artikel ilmiah. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelaksanaan pelatihan secara online melalui aplikasi Zoom pada bulan Februari 2023. Pelatihan melibatkan fasilitator yang memberikan materi dan pembelajaran tentang langkah-langkah menyusun artikel ilmiah yang baik, termasuk penulisan abstrak, metode penelitian, analisis data, dan tata bahasa ilmiah. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan para guru dalam menyusun artikel ilmiah. Mereka mampu menghasilkan karya ilmiah yang lebih relevan, berkualitas, dan dapat diakses oleh komunitas akademik lebih luas. Penyusunan artikel ilmiah juga berdampak positif pada kualitas pendidikan, meningkatkan pemikiran ilmiah dan keterampilan analisis kritis siswa. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan ini memberikan manfaat yang signifikan bagi para guru dan komunitas akademik di Kabupaten Sleman. Para guru dapat mengembangkan kemampuan mereka dalam menyusun artikel ilmiah, meningkatkan visibilitas penelitian lokal, dan memperkuat kolaborasi dengan peneliti dan akademisi. Penting untuk melanjutkan dan mendukung kegiatan serupa di masa depan guna terus memperkuat pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan pendidikan di wilayah ini.

Abstract

The increasing number of internet users and the fact that each user has various needs result in very high and fluctuating internet traffic, which has an impact on the increasing workload on servers and network infrastructure. Due to the large workload experienced by the server, an approach is needed that can distribute the workload evenly among several resources, or what is known as a load balancing technique. Thus, the main objective of this research is to optimize internet network performance by implementing load balancing techniques and measuring the performance improvements that can be achieved. Load balancing methods are used to avoid imbalances that can cause one resource to be overburdened while others may not be used optimally. For testing, connections were made 1000 times with 100 requests/second, then increased gradually up to 11,000 connections with 1100 requests/second. Test results show that at low to medium connection levels (1000/100 to 6000/600), servers without load balancing tend to provide better response times. However, as connection rates increase (from 7000/700 to 11000/1100), servers with load balancing show superiority by having better response times than servers without the technique. Therefore, this research suggests that implementing a load balancing strategy is very important for maintaining optimal performance and system stability under high workload conditions.
