Abstract

The low nutrient intake and nutritional status of pregnant women during pregnancy can lead to a variety of impacts for both the mother and the baby. One is born with low birth weight (LBW), ie birth weight below 2500 grams. The goal here is to determine the mother's weight gain during pregnancy weight newbornbaby. This type of research is analytic survey with retrospective study design with the entire population of mothers delivered at Ibnu Sina RSI Bukittinggi. The sampling method is accidental sampling with a sample of how that is at least 30. The data are collected through a checklist sheet. Data processed by the computerized analysis of univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed no significant association between maternal weight gain during weight newborns (p = 0.001). From these results it can be concluded maternal weight gain during pregnancy affects the weight newborns. Results of the study found a high rate of maternal LBW less attention because nutrients. Researchers expect all pregnant women should be adequate nutrition during pregnancy and particularly health workers to monitor maternal weight gain during pregnancy

Abstract

During the pandemic of COVID-19, remote learning has been very highlighted. This environment creates huge challenges especially to those teaching in remote areas. Drawing on them, this descriptive qualitative study aims to explore teaching strategies applied there. In collecting the data, interviews and questionnaires were given to two English teachers of a Junior High School in Aranio, Banjar Regency. The results show that they have to face some challenges such as the limitedness of internet access and low motivated students when implementing remote learning. Due to this condition, they need to survive by making some efforts such as creating and using interesting teaching modules, coordinating with the related parties, carrying out blended learning, conducting home visit and setting up offline classes because of no possibility for online learning. Through this study, other teachers are kindly informed on the applicable teaching strategies to create effective remote learning experiences in remote areas.

Abstract

In the process of learning physics, teachers can still not develop ICT-based learning media using Macromedia flash software that is effective and efficient. It is necessary to analyze articles from the results of previous studies to understand the right media for learning physics. This research was conducted to know what types of research have been carried out in the development of physics learning media using Macromedia flash software and to analyze the effect size of the influence of physics learning media using Macromedia flash software in terms of student learning outcomes based on education level, type of media developed and learning materials. The type of research used is a meta-analysis study. The subjects of this research are 21 articles on the development of physics learning media using Macromedia flash software in terms of student learning outcomes that have been tested in class published in 2011-2020. The data used in this study is a quantitative analysis by calculating the effect size using statistical parameters. The result of the research is that the best effectiveness of physics learning media using Macromedia flash software in terms of student learning outcomes based on education level is in Higher Education. The best effectiveness of the media in terms of student learning outcomes based on the type of media developed is multimedia. The best effectiveness of physics learning media in student learning outcomes based on learning materials is on motion material. It can be concluded that Multimedia that uses Macromedia flash software is a medium that can help students in learning.

Abstract

In 21st century education demands the creation of quality human resources. The government's efforts in dealing with 21st century results are using the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. One of the goals of the 2013 curriculum is to improve student learning. Increasing learning outcomes can be done using learning resources in the form of modules. Currently there are many studies on the   effect of integrated science modules on student learning outcomes. Several studies have different    results, so the research results need to be presented with a meta-analysis method. Thus, the purpose of this study is to analyze and compare the size of the effect of the integrated science module on learning outcomes. The analysis technique used is quantitative and qualitative analysis. This research uses 25 journals consisting of international and national journals. From the journal, several indicators were obtained, namely grade level, material, learning, integrated models, and applied learning. Based on the results of research resulting from the effect of the use of an integrated science module which is effectively used in learning which can be seen from student learning outcomes in integrated science learning.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve students' higher order thinking skills by using the POE model based on blended learning in learning. The research method used is classroom action research. The subjects of this study were students of class XI MIPA1 SMA N Painan in the 2020/2021 semester II academic year, totaling 36 people. The object of this research is the students' higher order thinking ability. This research was conducted in two learning cycles, with the stages in each cycle being planning, action, observation/evaluation, and reflection. The higher order thinking ability in question is the score of students obtained in doing the higher order thinking skills test (C4, C5 and C6) which consists of 10 essay questions. This research is said to be successful if the average value of students' higher order thinking skills is 78, with classical completeness of 85%. The data that has been collected is then analyzed descriptively. The results of the analysis show 1) the average value of students' higher order thinking skills in the first cycle is 76.70 with 72% classical completeness and in the second cycle is 84.50 with 86% classical completeness.

Abstract

SMKS Syuhada Teknologi Banjarmasin merupakan salah satu sekolah swasta di bawah naungan Yayasan STM Bersubsidi. Berdiri sejak tahun 1980 yang beralamat di jalan Brigjen H. Hasan Basry No. 23 Kecamatan Banjarmasin Utara Kota Banjarmasin. SMKS Syuhada Teknologi Banjarmasin adalah salah satu organisasi yang memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat dalam bidang pendidikan. Salah satu bagian penting yang ada di SMKS Syuhada Teknologi Banjarmasin adalah siswa dan nilai hasil belajar siswa. Terdapat puluhan bahkan ratusan siswa dan masing – masing siswa memiliki nilai yang berbeda – beda untuk setiap mata pelajarannya. Untuk mengelola data nilai siswa, SMKS Syuhada Teknologi Banjarmasin memiliki aplikasi dalam bentuk Microsoft Excel namun masih terdapat beberapa permasalahan. Pada SMKS Syuhada Teknologi Banjarmasin terdapat masalah dalam mengelola nilai siswa, antara lain penggunaan teknologi informasi di SMKS Syuhada Teknologi Banjarmasin sudah berjalan, namun karena kurangnya pendampingan sehingga penggunaan teknologi informasi tidak dapat berjalan dengan baik. Di SMKS Syuhada Teknologi Banjarmasin juga terdapat aplikasi untuk mengelola nilai siswa, namun sering terjadi error program dan kesulitan dalam menggunakannya dan kurangnya jumlah komputer yang berguna untuk membantu civitas akademika di lingkungan SMKS Syuhada Teknologi Banjarmasin dalam mengelola nilai siswa Dari permasalahan tersebut maka dilaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan kegiatan – kegiatan yang dilaksanakan antara lain, pembuatan sistem informasi nilai rapor di SMKS Syuhada Teknologi Banjarmasin dan pendampingan dalam penggunaan sistem informasi yang berfungsi untuk memudahkan dan mempercepat pekerjaan dalam pencetakan nilai rapor siswa.
