Abstract

Peserta didik dituntun untuk memiliki kompetensi berpikir dan berkomunikasi sehingga mampu bersaing dalam dunia kerja yang kompetitif. baik tuntunan kurikulum dan dapat merancang serta mengimplementasikannya dalam pembelajaran Namun kenyataannya berdasarkan observasi dilapangan, hasil belajar peserta didik masih ada yang belum mencapai Kriteria Kentuntasan Minimum (KKM). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Reseacrh and Development). Pada penelitian ini produk yang dihasilkan adalah LKPD berbasis model pembelajaran pendekatan saintifik dan bantuan software geogebra. Penelitian ini mengacu pada penelitian pengembangan yang di kembangkan oleh Branch yaitu model ADDIE, yang terdiri atas lima langkah, yaitu analisis (analysis), perancangan (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation), dan evaluasi (evaluation). Berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi LKPD yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan. Kelayakan LKPD berbasis pendekatan saintifik dengan bantuan software geogebra berdasarkan penilaian ahli media mendapatkan persentase 90 %, sedangkan ahli materi 92,5%. Respon peserta didik terhadap LKPD yang dikembangkan mendapatkan persentase 89,16%.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the successful implementation of the discovery learning model in mathematics learning at the tertiary level. Discovery learning is one of the innovative learning models that encourages students to be actively involved in the learning process by discovering mathematical concepts by themselves. actively in the learning process by discovering mathematical concepts independently. independently. The results The results showed that the implementation of discovery learning in mathematics learning in higher education is generally successful in improving students' conceptual understanding, critical thinking skills, and motivation to learn. learning.
