Abstract

Tiap wilayah memiliki kebudayaan sebagai entitas dan karakteristik khas tersendiri bagi suatu wilayah tertentu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan menjelaskan kebijaksanaan kebudayaan Rambu Solo’ masyarakat Tana Toraja. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada upacara Rambu Solo’ dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam dari 10 orang informan secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: pelaksanaan upacara adat Rambu Solo harus sesuai dengan strata sosial masyarakat Toraja yaitu: 1) Tana’ Bulaan yaitu golongan bangsawan; 2) Tana’ Bassi yaitu golongan bangsawan menengah; 3) Tana’ Karurung yaitu rakyat biasa, dan 4) Tana Kua-Kua yaitu golongan hamba atau kurang mampu. Strata ini dilihat dari keturunan nenek moyang mereka. Selanjutnya, proses atau tahap-tahap dalam acara rambu solo ini perlu diperhatikan agar kebijaksanaan budaya lokal dalam upacara Rambu Solo’ ini tetap terjaga, sehingga dapat meminimalisir perubahan makna dalam upacara ini. Ajaran Aluk Todolo meyakini bahwa di luar diri manusia, terdapat tiga unsur kekuatan yang harus dipercaya oleh manusia. Upacara adat masyarakat merupakan manifestasi dari sistem kepercayaan masyarakat yang memiliki nilai-nilai universal yang dapat mendukung budaya bangsa. Upacara ini dianggap sakral dan merupakan kepercayaan. Setiap kegiatan manusia selalu memiliki maksud dan tujuan yang ingin dicapai, termasuk di dalamnya adalah kegiatan keagamaan Kristen maupun Islam.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase the activity of class XI IPS students in sociology, at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Unismuh Makassar. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR). Classroom Action Research is a research activity by examining a learning activity that is given action, which is deliberately raised in a class, which aims to solve problems or improve the quality of learning in class. The cycle used in this study consists of cycle 1 and cycle 2. Each cycle consists of four stages of activity, namely planning, action, observation/evaluation, and reflection. This research was conducted at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Unismuh Makassar. This research was conducted for 2 months starting from February 28 to May 1 in the 2022/2023 school year, according to the 2013 curriculum at Muhammadiyah 1 High School Unismuh Makassar. The subjects in this study were 28 students of class XI IPS, consisting of 14 male students and 14 female students. Determining the subject of this study was based on the results of the researchers' initial observations and interviews with teachers in the field of Sociology SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Unismuh Makassar, while technical data analysis used descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques using achievement criteria. The results of the research from the 1st meeting of the 2nd students were only 5 (46.46%) active people, this can be seen from the results of the teacher's observations in class. The 2nd meeting of students who were active in group discussions were 8 (73.73%) students. In the first cycle of the 1st and 2nd meetings, the average 60.23% was active, and the second cycle - an average of 88.04% with an increase of 27.91% was included in the high category. It can be concluded that after applying the group discussion learning model it can increase the activity of students in class.

Abstract

Indonesia has enormous marine and fisheries potential because of its vast sea area. Human resources in managing fishery products have not maximized the potential of fishery products. Therefore, in order to maximize the potential of fishery products, quality human resources are needed. Since human resources are an important part of an organization, including in the Indonesian fisheries industry, human resource management and development is very important for the success of an organization. The method used is qualitative research method, more precisely literature research. The literature research process is carried out by reviewing the literature and analyzing the relevant topics combined. Literature search can utilize sources in the form of journals, books, dictionaries, documents, magazines and other sources without conducting field research. The results found that in optimizing in improving the performance and sustainability of the fisheries product management industry, it is important to optimize human resources. Many approaches can be used to improve operational efficiency. Increase efficiency in all stages of production, from fishing to distribution, with the adoption of advanced technology and automated equipment. Training and Skills Development ensures that employees have a good understanding of the latest practices and technologies through regular training that enhances their technical and managerial skills. Good Production Planning and Management; Energy and Resources Management; Use of wise energy and resource management practices to reduce operational costs Partners and Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers, distributors, and relevant institutions to improve supply chain efficiency and coordination. Training and Skills Development ensures that employees have a good understanding of the latest practices and technologies through regular training that enhances their technical and managerial skills.
