Abstract

The studies revealed that organizational change could create employee’s psychological uncertainty. However, this study argues that the quality of leader-member exchange enables to control the impact of the psychological uncertainty during the change toward employee’s attitude. This study represents job satisfaction and turnover intention as proxy of employee’s attitude for that matter. Based on social exchange theory, quality relationship of leader and employees affects on the relationship of psychological uncertainty and employee’s job satisfaction and turnover intention. This study selected private hospitals experiencing the changes of operational system for complying with national health security system. This study conducted cross-section survey for individual level-analysis. This study produces some findings. Firstly, the LMX has been failed to reduce the negative influence of psychological uncertainty towards employee’s job satisfaction, although the quality of the LMX was good. employee’s job satisfaction is more perceived as  personal afective state experienced during the organizational change. Secondly, the LMX has been successfully moderated the positive influence of the psychological uncertainty towards employee’s turnover intention.The data were collected by using questioners, distributed to the employees who worked in hospitals in Yogyakarta Province. There were 193 questioners that could be collected and analyzed by using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) to test the hypothesis by using SPSS application version 21. The result of the study shows that psychological uncertainty had negative correlation to employee’s job satisfaction and positive influence to psychological uncertainty toward turnover intention. Besides, LMX was proven to moderate positive influence of psychological uncertainty toward turnover intention, but it could not moderate negative influence of psychological uncertainty toward job satisfaction.

Abstract

Closeness and compatibility between leaders and subordinates significantly affect the comfort of work, which results in employee performance. Through satisfaction in working, it can create employee engagement, which can contribute to improving employee performance. This study aims to determine the effect of leader-member exchange and personal supervisor fit on employee performance mediated by work engagement on Syariah Bank employees in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The sample in this study amounted to 132 employees using purposive sampling techniques whose data collection uses cross-sectional analysis with the level of analysis of individual samples. This research uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to analyze the data. The results showed that the leader-member exchange and person supervisor fit had a positive effect on work engagement, and work engagement had a positive impact on employee performance. Also, this study demonstrates that work engagement is able to mediate the positive influence of leader-member exchange and person supervisor fit on employee performance. For this reason, it can be said that work engagement is an antecedent that shapes employee performance, which is preceded by leader-member exchange and person supervisor fit.

Abstract

The importance of organizational culture for employees to create a conducive work environment, so it needs to be considered by every manager in a company. In creating this environment, the role of a leader is needed to provide justice for every employee in the organization. This study aims to determine the effect of procedural justice, compensation distributive justice and interactional justice on organizational culture. This research was conducted at Islamic financial institutions in Yogyakarta. This research uses descriptive quantitative research using the Likert scale. The sample in this study amounted to 219 employees who work at Islamic financial institutions in Yogyakarta using saturated sample techniques. In this study, researchers used samples at Bank Muamalat, BPRS Madina, Takaful Keluarga Syariah Insurance, BMT Bina Ihsanul Fikri, BMT Tamzis and Sharia Pegadaian. Data analysis used in this research is IBM SPSS version 21 with data analysis method using multiple linear regression. The results showed that procedural justice, compensation distributive justice and interactional justice had a positive effect on organizational culture. For this reason, creating a good organizational culture requires justice for all employees.

Abstract

Pentingnya peningkatan kinerja karyawan selama pandemi Covid-19 tentunya memiliki dampak pada tercapainya tujuan perusahaan. Dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan diperlukan kontrol dari pemimpin untuk memberikan arahan kepada setiap karyawan dalam perusahaan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat peran telecommuting dalam memperngaruhi kinerja karyawan selama pandemi Covid-19 yang dimoderasi oleh kontrol pemimpin. Penelitian ini mengambil objek pada Lembaga Keuangan Syariah di Yogyakarta. Penelitian kuantitatif dilakukan melalui survey dengan skala likert. Untuk sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 159 orang pada Lembaga Keuangan Syariah di Yogyakarta dan purposive sampling untuk teknik samplingnya. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan sampel pada Bank Madina Syariah, BPRS Formes, Bank Muamalat, Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Yogyakarta, dan Bank BPD DIY Syariah. Peneliti menggunakan SEM PLS dari aplikasi SmartPLS 3.0 untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa telecommuting berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan selama pandemi Covid-19 dan kontrol pemimpin tidak dapat memoderasi pengaruh telecommuting terhadap kinerja karyawan selam pandemi Covid-19

Abstract

Employees' work dynamics in companies are very diverse. Some employees have high commitments, and others are very low. Likewise, the counterproductive behavior of employees in every company is also high or low. The importance of the two factors for the continuity of company operations incites the investigation to ponder the role of the dimensions of justice on affective commitment and counterproductive work behavior of employees in Islamic Financial Institutions (LKS) in DIY. Researchers distributed questionnaires to 219 employees from several LKS in DIY with purposive sampling. The data were then analyzed through SEM-PLS, which measures the research instrument and the influence between the research variables. The results of this study indicated that only procedural and interactional justice trigger affective commitment and deviant workplace behavior, while distributive justice is unable to influence these two variables. The study contributed to LKS managers maintaining a work environment that upholds the principles of justice to increase affective commitment and minimize employees' deviant behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of service quality from 3 PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Jogja, Sleman and Bantul on customer satisfaction and customer switching intention which is moderated by the company's image. This study uses Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA), with a total sample of 111 customers/patients at the Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital. The data was collected online and offline by purposive sampling technique. This study proves that service quality is the main predictor in increasing customer satisfaction of PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta hospital. However, the test results explain that the company's image is not able to moderate the influence of service quality on the customer satisfaction and switching intention. The results of this study also provide theoretical and practical contributions related to theoretical, methodological and practical issues.

Abstract

Membangun suatu usaha membutuhkan karyawan yang memiliki komitmen dalam memajukan usaha tersebut. Keberadaan karyawan diharapkan mampu dalam menjalankan tugas, tanggung jawab, dan memberikan pelayanan yang baik. Karyawan yang bekerja juga diharapkan memiliki etos kerja yang tinggi dalam melakukan setiap pekerjaannya agar dapat terealisasi tujuan-tujuan perusahaan, terutama dalam memberikan pelayanan yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor pembentuk etos kerja Islam dan pengaruh etos kerja Islam terhadap kinerja karyawan. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah Café 1912 UMY. Penelitian ini menggunakan sumber data primer dengan melakukan wawancara terhadap karyawan Café 1912 UMY dan observasi langsung ketempat penelitian, sedangkan data sekunder diraih dari studi kepustakaan berupa buku-buku, jurnal, maupun website untuk memperkuat data penelitian. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa etos kerja Islam berpengaruh secara tidak langsung terhadap kinerja karyawan, disisi lain dalam penelitian ini ditemukan hal menarik yaitu para karyawan menyetorkan setoran hafalan yang menjadi salah satu kepuasan kinerja karyawan dalam bekerja. Hal ini berarti ketika etos kerja Islam yang dirasakan oleh karyawan Café 1912 UMY cukup baik sehingga kinerja karyawan akan meningkat.

Abstract

The Covid 19 has changed the routine of the global community, including in Indonesia. This service program aimed to empower and develop the potential of village cooperative members, especially during the Covid 19 pandemic, especially in Kasihan village. This program was carried out in 3 stages, handwashing soap manufacture training, production of products to be marketed, and organizational training. The output of this program is the creation of ready-to-sell products, business and marketing strategies, packaging that meets health standards. The development of village cooperatives for the welfare of cooperative members is also the output of this empowerment program. Partners in this service program are the Kasihan hamlet community who are members of the Harum Manis Cooperative. The choice of this partner was chosen because the problems that the community has in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic are very urgent to find a solution, and the Harum Manis has just started a business so that business programs are needed to develop. In order to achieve the success of this activity, material delivery, discussion and practical training, business and marketing training had been carried out. The steps were through observation of the service team to partner villages, delivery of organizational materials, workshops and mentoring, and post-program monitoring.

Abstract

Perilaku hidup bersih merupakan kebutuhan primer bagi setiap orang guna meningkatkan kesehatan dan menghindari penyakit baik menular maupun tidak menular. Terlebih lagi untuk masyarakat pedesaan yang kehidupan sosialnya relatif tinggi karena budaya kolektivisme yang sangat kental. Hal ini mengakibatkan penularan penyakit sangat cepat dan rentan terjadi di lingkungan masyarakat. Penanggulangan permasalahan ini membutuhkan kerjasama dari perangkat desa dan masyarakat untuk menggalakkan kebersihan di lingkungannya seperti membuat jamban di setiap rumah, tidak membuang sampah sembarangan, tidak mencemari sungai, merubah perilaku dan kebiasaan-kebiasaan agar hidup bersih. Program ini memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan literasi dan memfasilitasi masyarakat agar merubah perilaku yang dapat mencemari lingkungan agar perilaku dan pola hidup sehat dapat dijalankan oleh masyarakat di Dusun Sicantek, Wonosobo. Pelaksanaan program ini dibagi menjadi 3 tahapan yaitu sosialisasi tentang manfaat hidup bersih, melakukan kegiatan bersih-bersih dusun, dan membuat program bersih-bersih desa secara rutin setiap pekan. Program pengabdian ini memberikan sebuah pemahaman kepada masyarakat tentang perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) melalui sosialisasi tentang kesehatan. Selain itu, tim pengabdian dan warga dibantu mahasiswa melakukan gerakan bersih-bersih desa yang dilakukan secara rutin setiap akhir pekan untuk menjaga kebersihan lingkungan desa

Abstract

The adaptability of the relationship between leader-member and organizational support effect of job insecurity that appears in employees. This adaptability can be seen from the influence of leader-member exchange and perceived organizational support which can lead to job insecurity. This study aims to examine the effect of leader-member exchange and perceived organizational support on job insecurity with job embeddedness as an intervening variable. The objects of this research are 3 syariah banking such as Bank Syariah Indonesia, Bank Muamalat and Bank Madina Syariah. This research is quantitative. The sample used in this study was 257 respondents obtained by the non-probability sampling method. Data were collected using a questionnaire, analyzed using SmartPLS version 3.2.8. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive influence between leader-member exchange on job embeddedness, perceived organizational support has a positive effect on job embeddedness, job embeddedness has no effect on job insecurity, the leader-member exchange has no effect on job insecurity, and perceived organizational support has a negative effect on job insecurity.
