Abstract

Perception is a kind of mental process which is accepted with stimulant of individu through five perception. There is stigma and discrimination against people with HIV/AIDS that can cause disturbance for self – concept. Self – concept here covers body image, self – ideal, self – respect, self – role and self – identity. People think that HIV/AIDS is a disease that can kill contigious people easily. One of the main purpose of Equivalent Supported Group is to decrease or eliminate the stigma an discrimination in order that people with HIV/AIDS can empower and socialize with community. The purpose of this research was to know perception of self – concept people with HIV/AIDS in Equivalent Supported Group in municipality and regency of Kediri. The research is a kind of descriptive research that describe urgent events happened in the past. The unit of analysis in the research is all of the people with HIV/AIDS in Equivalent Supported Group in municipality and regency of Kediri who are willing to be respondents. The instrument is an interview and procedure of collecting data through in depth interview. From the research for the self – concept people with HIV/AIDS, it can be recognized that the changes of physical appeareance people with HIV/AIDS cause of HIV/AIDS are not influenced in contact with community and make them humble or low respect. Principally, most of the informen are ready to accept their status as people with HIV/AIDS because of the equivalent friend and family support. Some informen unbelieve that they are categorized HIV positive because some of informen have not experienced any symptoms related to HIV. The role of Equivalent Supported Group is a secure and comfortable institution or place for those with people with HIV/AIDS and those living with HIV/AIDS to get together and meet. In open and close meeting held by Equivalent Supported Group, people with HIV/AIDS and those living with HIV/AIDS can get new information about HIV/AIDS and other diseases connected with HIV.

Abstract

Background : The waiting time is the time used to start the list up to the counter medication. While the touch time is the time spent by paramedics both doctors, midwives, nurses to check on patients. From here can be seen the number of visits patients who came for treatment a lot or a little. Based on early studies found a slight problem lingering dissatisfaction of patients on long waiting times and a touch by paramedics in treating patients. Objective : The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of waiting time and time in the patient touch the general level of patient satisfaction in health centers poly Sukorame Kediri. Method : This study uses Corelation. The sample in this study was poly general health center patients Sukorame Kediri, sampling technique used is to use random sampling, the number of respondents were 355 people, collecting data using questionnaires that were tested using the test statistic analysis Ordinal Regression. Result : Based on the results obtained for the wait time 189 respondents (53.2%) and a touch as much as 195 respondents (54.9%) stated the waiting time and the time a patient receives touch very quickly. And patient satisfaction with the outcome as many as 179 people (50.4%) were very satisfied. From the results that have been obtained on the results obtained p-value = = 0.005 p-value α 0.000 and then <0.005, which means no waiting time and time influence the level of satisfaction in touch common poly clinic Sukorame Kediri. Conclusion : The accuracy of the waiting time and the time the touch is a critical factor in providing services and contributing factors of patient satisfaction. And patient satisfaction will also increase the number of patient visits and the confidence to go to the community health center will increase.

Abstract

Pediatric Early Warning Score (PEWS) is a scoring system for early detection or early warning to detect a worsening of the condition of pediatric patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between compliance with PEWS implementation with response time and patient safety at RSIA Muhammadiyah Probolinggo City. This research design uses correlation analytic with cross-sectional observation approach. The population in this study were all nurses at RSIA Muhammadiyah Probolinggo City. The sample in this study were 32 people. With the technique of probability sampling-random sampling. Data processing used chi square test. Compliance with PEWS implementation showed that most of them adhered to the application of PEWS as much as 25 (78%), response time obtained results that most were fast 25 (78%) and adhered to patient safety by 25 (78%). The analysis test uses the chi square test.
