Abstract

Tujuan khusus kegiatan untuk memanfaatkan tempurung kelapa agar dapat dimanfaatkan sepenuhnya untuk kegiatan produktif yang dapat meningkatkan pendapatan kelompok usaha petani kelapa sekaligus menciptakan wirausaha yang mandiri secara ekonomi. Target dalam kegiatan pengabdian dihasilkannya; 1) produk olahan kelapa dari tempurung seperti arang dan briket; 2) alat pembuat arang dan briket; dan 3) manajemen usaha kecil. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut dengan metode pendidikan, penyuluhan, pelatihan produksi, pelatihan manajemen usaha terdiri dari teknik pemasaran dan penyusunan laporan keuangan, pendampingan, monitoring, dan evaluasi. Pemilihan lokasi ini dikarenakan kelapa yang banyak tersebar, melimpahnya limbah tempurung kelapa dan belum optimalnya pemanfaatan produksi olahan tempurung di desa tersebut. Hasil capaian kegiatan yang diperoleh masyarakat berupa pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengolah limbah tempurung kelapa menjadi barang-barang ekonomis.

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengkaji perbedaan tingkat inklusi keuangan pelaku UMKM Kota Medan dari sisi gender, usia, omset usaha (pendapatan), pendidikan dan lama usaha. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 126 sampel pelaku UMKM Kota Medan yang diambel secara cluster random sampling. Jenis dan sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer berskala nominal. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini melalui pendekatan statistik non parametrik menggunakan kruskal wallis test dan mann whitney u test dengan bantuan SPSS versi 24. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa ternyata lama usaha dan omset usaha (pendapatan) memberikan perbedaan yang signifikan pada tingkat inklusi keuangan pelaku UMKM Kota Medan. Sedangkan gender, pendidikan dan usia tidak memberikan perbedaan yang berarti pada tingkat inklusi keuangan pelaku UMKM Kota Medan. Kata Kunci: Inklusi, Keuangan, Demografi

Abstract

Financial inclusion programs in Asia began to intensify with focus on improving public access, especially those who have not yet enjoyed banking services. This makes financial inclusion one of the focuses of development in the financial sector in various countries, especially ASEAN, as a sound financial system can promote economic growth. This study aims to see the comparison of financial inclusion rates and see the effect of socio-economic variables on  financial inclusion in  ASEAN  countries 2010-2015. In  order  to  see  the comparison of inclusion level of finance in each ASEAN country, the Index of Financial Inclusion (IFI) method was developed by Sarma (2008), while to examine the relationship between socio-economic variables to financial inclusion, the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method was used estimation techniques in the Random Effects Model approach. The results show that in general, financial inclusion in ASEAN countries is mainly influenced by the dimension of a disorder. In addition, only per-capita GDP variables are not significant partially. While other variables, namely population over 15 years, unemployment rate, and the number of people in rural areas have a significant influence on index of financial inclusion

Abstract

AbstrakMakalah ini merupakan kajian kualitatif atas pelaksanaan CSR oleh PT. PERTAMINA (Persero) MOR I – TBBM Lhokseumawe yang dipusatkan di Kecamatan Banda Sakti Kota Lhokseumawe pada tahun 2017. Realisasi CSR yang dimaksud meliputi kegiatan: 1) Pengembangan Sentra Industri Ikan Kering; 2) Peningkatan Kapasitas Kelompok Masyarakat Peduli Wisata: Workshop Kebencanaan dan Search and Rescue (SAR) bagi Relawan dan Pemandu Wisata; 3) Pelayanan Kesehatan: Pelatihan Bantuan Hidup Dasar (BHD) untuk Relawan. 4) Pengembangan Usaha Souvenir Decopage; 5) Pelatihan Pengembangan Wirausaha Baru di Bidang Sablon dan Reparasi Mesin Penyejuk Udara (Air Conditioner/AC) Bagi Angkatan Kerja Produktif Putus Sekolah. Merujuk kepada capaian dari pelaksanaan kegiatan yang ditinjau dari sisi dampak yang ditimbulkan terhadap perubahan perilaku masyarakat secara berkesinambungan; realisasi program CSR oleh TBBM Lhokseumawe yang dimaksud relatif telah efektif dan efisien meletakkan fondasi yang kuat bagi masyarakat setempat dalam transformasi paradigma dan etos kewirausahaan secara mandiri pasca pelaksanaan kegiatan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan berlandaskan kemitraan yang melibatkan berbagai komponen stakeholder dengan target penerima manfaat kepada kelompok masyarakat miskin setempat telah berhasil menciptakan sebuah sistem pemberdayaan masyarakat yang berkelanjutan melalui penguatan modal sosial, intelektual dan organisasional yang berlaku. Aspek modal organisasional merupakan tantangan terbesar dalam capaian dan konsistensi keberlangsungan program terhadap kehidupan ekonomi dan sosial masyarakat setempat. Optimalisasi kelembagaan ekonomi desa menjadi isu sentral yang menjadi prioritas untuk ditindaklanjuti sehingga dapat menjamin keberlanjutan hingga ke generasi wirausaha di milenial lainnya.Kata kunci: CSR, Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, TBBM Lhokseumawe, Kecamatan Banda SaktiAbstractThis paper qualitatively discusses relevant outcomes resulted from the implementation of CSR by PT. PERTAMINA (Persero) MOR I - TBBM Lhokseumawewhich was conducted in Subdistrict of Banda Sakti at Lhokseumawe City on 2017. The realization of CSR consisted several activities: 1) Development of Dry Fish Industry Centers; 2) Capacity Building of the Community Concerned Tourism Group: Workshop on Disaster and Search and Rescue (SAR) for Volunteers and Tour Guides; 3) Health Services: Basic Life Assistance Training (BHD) for Volunteers. 4) Decopage Souvenir Business Development; 5) New Entrepreneurship Development Training in Screen Printing and Repair of Air Conditioning Machines for School Dropout Productive Workers. Referring to the achievement of the implementation of activities in terms of the impact that are reflected in changes of community behavior on an ongoing basis; the realization of the CSR program by TBBM Lhokseumawe is considered relatively effective and efficient in building a strong foundation for local communities leading to the transformation of the paradigm and entrepreneurial ethos independently after the implementation of activities. The implementation of activities based on partnerships involving various components of stakeholders with the target beneficiaries to local poor groups has succeeded in creating a sustainable community empowerment system through the strengthening of prevailing social, intellectual and organizational capital. The aspect of organizational capital is the biggest challenge in the achievement and consistency of program sustainability towards the economic and social life of the local community. Abstract

In general, this study aims to improve the quality of learning in microeconomic theory courses in students of the Economic Education study program, Faculty of Economics, Unimed. In particular, this study aims to develop a feasible and effective Android-based macroeconomic theory learning media for learning. Based on the research results, the application of ed classes in the microeconomic theory course has been validated by 3 media and material experts. The results of expert validation resulted in a decision that the Ed Classes mobile learning application had a very high level of feasibility with a note that revisions needed to be made. After all revision notes were corrected, the mobile learning was then tested in small groups on 20 class C students in semester 3 of the Microeconomic Theory course. Based on the results of these trials, it is known that to test the effectiveness of the elasticity material it is concluded that the posttest learning outcomes of students after using mobile learning Ed Classes are significantly higher than the results of student pretest. Whereas in the practicality test it is known from three indicators, namely ease, usability and time effectiveness, all of which show satisfactory results at the strong level of practicality category. The results of this study are expected to increase learning motivation and also to increase student learning independence. It is hoped that the preparation of mobile learning can be as practical as it will make it easier for students to learn. Mobile learning applications, of course, can trigger students to master technology that makes human life easier and supports the industrial revolution 4.0 in the world of education.A maximum 200 - 250 words abstract in English with book antiqua font 11 point, 1 spacing, justify, italic. Abstract

One form of offline learning transformations to the online is the conversion of the printing materials to web-based teaching materials. The hope is to facilitate and support the management of online learning. In general, the study aims to know the degree of worth and effectiveness of the teaching material in economic educationists can improve students' learning. It uses addie models. The study was done on student students of class a v-semester who took the economics course at prodi economic education in 2021/2022. For a small test sample taken 30 students. The effectiveness of test results concludes that students' learning after the use of economic etrica is higher than those of pretest students. This is significant if the teacher-based website on the resulting econometrical courses proves to be effective in improving student studies.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to produce teaching material for Macroeconomics Theory. The Research and Development (R&D) method by Borg and Gall was used in this study. The population of this study was all Economic Education Study Program’s students who took Macroeconomics courses in 2019. The sample was determined by using the purposive random sampling principle and the sample class made for the implementation and limited testing of small sample was Class C of Economic Education. Based on the result of the study, it was decided that the teaching material for Macroeconomics Theory that has been validated by 2 expert validators had a very high level of eligibility (88.75%) provided revisions were needed. After it has been fully revised, the material was tested to all 30 students of Class C of Economic Education during Macroeconomics Theory course. Based on the testing conducted to the small sample, it showed that there was a significant improvement of the learning outcomes before and after the blended-learning based teaching material was implemented. The result was all the user-friendliness, usability, and time effectiveness factor have an average value ≥4. It can be concluded that the book being developed has met the readability and practicality criteria. The study was only conducted up to stage 7 -producing the teaching material of revision draft.

Abstract

One form of transformation of offline to online learning is the change of printed learning materials to non-printed teaching materials. The hope is that it can facilitate and support the management of online learning. In general, this study aims to determine the level of feasibility and effectiveness teaching materials in econometrics courses can improve student learning outcomes.   This study uses research and development (R&D) methods using the ADDIE model. This research was conducted on fifth-semester students of class A who took econometrics courses in the economic education study program in the 2021/2022 academic year. For a small trial sample, 30 students were taken. The results of the effectiveness test concluded that student learning outcomes after using econometrics teaching materials were higher than the results of student pretests. This shows that the non-printed Econometrics teaching materials produced are proven to be effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to produce microeconomic theory teaching materials. This study uses a research and development (R&D) method based on the Bord and Gall concept. The population of this study was all students of microeconomic theory subjects in the economic education study program in 2020. The sample was determined by purposive random sampling and the sample class was used for application and limited testing of a small sample, namely class C of Economic Education. Based on the results of the study, the microeconomic theory teaching materials made and validated by 3 expert validators resulted in a decision that teaching materials had a very high level of feasibility (81.25%) with a note that revisions needed to be made. After all revision notes have been corrected, a small group trial was conducted on 20 class C students of economic education in the microeconomic theory course. Based on the results of small group trials, it is known that there has been a significant increase in learning outcomes before and after using Microeconomic Theory teaching materials. The result is that all factors of convenience for users, usability, and time effectiveness have a percentage value of 81.85%, meaning that it is concluded that the book developed has met the criteria for readability and practicality. This research was conducted only up to the 7th stage, namely producing a revised draft of the teaching material product. Abstract

AbstractIn general, the development of character building in a formal education can be applied through buying and selling transaction activities in the school canteen. The widespread use of computer technology can also be applied in trade activities in school canteens as an effort to establish the character of Indonesia's young generation with integrity and honesty. The introductory on the use of technology through a Self-Purchasing System or also commonly known as the Self-Check-out System is a mechanism that provides an opportunity for customers to process their purchases by scanning the items they buy and making direct payments before leaving the store/store. This technology can be initiated into religious and non-religious-based elementary schools that practice the values integrity and honest character from a specific religion to general values. However, even though these values have become a daily part of learning, the use of modern technology in the practice of education cannot be denied. Thus, the combination of pedagogy on the conceptual character-building value in the classroom and the use of science and technology in trading activities in the school canteen will accelerate the formation of integrity and honest character within the pupils.Keywords: Character Building, Self-Purchasing System, Governance, Smart School Canteen Model.
