Abstract

The purpose of this study is to be able to find out the teacher's problems in SKI learning at SD Nurul Islam Indonesia, Medan. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative research which prioritizes the use of data in the field. Descriptive qualitative research is research that describes the situation to be studied thoroughly, broadly, and in depth. The results showed that the problems teachers faced in learning SKI at SD Nurul Islam Indonesia were, first, the teacher's lack of understanding in mastering SKI learning material. Second, the methods and strategies that teachers use seem boring. third, the lack of facilities and infrastructure to support the teaching and learning process. Fourth, the limited time in the SKI learning process.

Abstract

Strategi pembelajaran ekspositori adalah strategi pembelajaran yang menekankan pada proses penyampaian materi secara langsung dari seorang guru kepada sekelompok peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori pada mata pelajaran IPS di SD/MI. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan berdasarkan studi pustaka. Studi pustaka ialah metode yang dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data dari berbagai sumber baik itu tertulis maupun tidak tertulis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap mata pelajaran IPS. Guru mampu menyampaikan informasi dengan jelas dan terstruktur, memfasilitasi diskusi yang produktif, dan meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran serta dengan menggunakan strategi ekspositori ini guru dapat memeriksa sejauh mana siswa menguasai materi yang telah diajarkan.

Abstract

Language teaching in primary schools plays a key role in developing language skills, including reading, writing, speaking and listening. However, listening skills are often overlooked, even though they are important for understanding and good communication. Listening lessons in elementary school are an important part of learning Indonesian because listening is the functional basis for expressing word symbols to other people. This study uses a literature study method to collect data from various related literature. The results show that advanced listening skills involve understanding complex information and extracting deeper meaning. Advanced listening learning methods include direct, communicative, integrative, thematic, constructivist and contextual methods, each with its own goals and characteristics in developing listening skills. Advanced listening skills are very important for students as they help in understanding subjects and overall development of language skills. Therefore, language teaching in elementary schools must pay attention to the importance of listening skills as an integral part of holistic language learning.d

Abstract

Misconceptions or misunderstandings can occur due to additions or deletions of what is inherent in the concept. Misconceptions can cause misunderstandings that cause difficulties for students in understanding the learning process. The aim of this research is to identify several misconceptions that occur among PGMI 3 UINSU students regarding the application of polya theory to plane material. The type of research used in this research is qualitative descriptive research in the form of a test on completing students' mathematics results accompanied by interviews related to flat shape material with the application of polya theory. The results of this research show that there are several misconceptions, namely not including the name of the flat figure in the problem, not giving cm marks for the base and height units, and the planning stage of the formula used being incomplete, not making polya theory steps in working on the problem and not evaluating final results or not writing conclusions. This is because students are not used to writing conclusions and also assume that the final calculation result obtained is the solution to the problem. The type of error found in question number 1 is 31.5% and in number 26.2%. From 39 students, a sample of 19 students was taken. 8 students answered the questions correctly and 11 students made mistakes. It is hoped that this misconception will not happen again to other prospective teacher students.

This research is development research using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation), but this research only reaches the stage development.
