Abstract

Education Management Information System is a combination of human resources and information technology applications to select, store, process, and retrieve in order to support the decision-making process in the field of education. Researchers realize the importance of adopting information systems practices combined with technological advances. The purpose of this study is to find out how information systems are meant as support for education management decision making. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results of this study show that the information system supporting education management decision making greatly utilizes all the potential of facilities / facilities and infrastructure as a stepping stone in the application of education management information systems. Stages in Management Information Systems 1). Management Information System Data Collection Process, 2). Management of Management Information Systems, 3) Deployment of Management Information Systems. Specifically, the development of an education driver's license can provide improvements in educational services, namely, policy-making considerations on the customer satisfaction process in a determination of meeting educational quality standards that include basic services and auxiliary services.

Abstract

Manajemen kinerja merupakan sebuah proses yang tersistematis dalam rangka menciptakan kondisi kerja yang memiliki kualitas baik dan mengarah pada pencapaian tujuan madrasah. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini ialah untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan manajemen kinerja di madrasah, kualitas lingkungan kerja di madrasah, dan dampak manajemen kinerja pada kualitas kerja guru di madrasah. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi dengan mengungkapkan dan mendeskripsikan fenomena yang terjadi pada kondisi di lapangan. Hasil penelitian ini mendeskripsikan, yaitu 1) manajemen kinerja di madrasah ini dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu awalan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi; 2) Kemudian prinsip-prinsip yang dijalankan yaitu prinsip kejujuran, keadilan, dan kedisiplinan; 3) Melalui manajemen kinerja yang dilaksanakan di madrasah ini memberikan dampak yang baik kepada pihak internal madrasah maupun pihak eksternal madrasah. Oleh karena itu, MIS ‘Aisyiyah Sumatera Utara ini dapat dikatakan memiliki lingkungan kerja yang baik.

Abstract

Globalization brings a very significant change impact, especially on changes in the behavior of each individual. The link between globalization and education lies in the birth of a new society characterized by a "knowledge-based society" which is the basis of economic and political globalization which is constantly changing and requires a reflective attitude from humans, namely the ability to reflect on life based on ratios. For this reason, education is very important in realizing a future society based on science. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of Islamic educational institution management in facing global challenges at MTs Bina Taruna Marelan school. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research at MTs Bina Taruna Marelan are: (1) Challenges of Globalization of Management of Islamic Educational Institutions at MTs Bina Taruna Marelan; (2) Management Model of Islamic Education Institutions at MTs Bina Taruna Marelan; (3) The Impact of Globalization on Education Management at MTs Bina Taruna Marelan.
