Abstract

Proses manajemen kinerja yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pemantauan, dan penilaian kinerja di sekolah memiliki peran krusial dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Artikel ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis proses manajemen kinerja yang dilakukan di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah Kualitatif dengan cara mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara dengan informan. Hasil wawancara yang dilakukan menujukkan: 1) Perencanaan mencakup strategi pengembangan kurikulum, sumber daya, dan kebijakan sekolah. 2) Pemantauan berfokus pada evaluasi proses pembelajaran, pengelolaan kelas, dan keterlibatan siswa. 3) Sementara itu, penilaian kinerja membantu mengukur capaian siswa, efektivitas pengajaran, dan pencapaian tujuan sekolah. Sinergi ketiga aspek ini menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang adaptif dan progresif. Dengan menerapkan perencanaan yang matang, pemantauan berkelanjutan, dan penilaian kinerja yang holistik, sekolah dapat memastikan pengembangan optimal potensi siswa, merespon perubahan dinamika pendidikan, dan menjamin kualitas pembelajaran yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

In carrying out his role as a leader and manager of education, the principal must have good leadership and management skills for the realization of quality education and educational outcomes that are able to demonstrate the existence of the school institution he leads. This study aims to examine the principal's policy in improving the quality of student graduates at the Private Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTsS) Bina Taruna Medan. The research method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach in order to determine the application of the principal's policies in improving the quality of graduates of the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Private (MTsS) Bina Taruna Medan students. Based on the results of the research, the form of the principal's policy at this madrasa in improving the quality of student graduates is to make every effort to improve education in accordance with the vision, mission and educational background of the madrasa, namely character education in schools. in accordance with Islamic values. With this form of policy in an effort to improve the quality of student graduate outcomes, it can be understood that the policies carried out by the Madrasah Head in an effort to improve the quality of student graduate outcomes at the Madrasah Tsanwiyah Swasta (MTsS) Bina Taruna Medan, are oriented towards strengthening character education with an educational background. Madrasas are Islamic education. Abstract

Abstrack:The purpose of this research is theoretically from the results of the discussion of this research are expected to make a scientific contribution, for scientific development, provide input to the school in terms of evaluating teacher performance in improving the quality of education, evaluation materials for Mtsn Binjai to provide better educational evaluations, for researchers expected to be a contribution and add to the literature for educational studies. This research was conducted at MtsN Binjai. West Rambung, South Binjai District. Binjai City, North Sumatra. This research was carried out in March 2023. All educators who teach at MtsN Binjai. Rambung Barat, South Binjai District with a total of 348 male students and 431 female students. Data collection uses observation sheets, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that: teacher performance evaluation concerns planning and learning, teacher performance in implementing learning, teacher performance in assessing learning outcomes, also teacher discipline in carrying out their duties has good performance. So that the quality of education in these schools is of good value.Keywords: Purpose ; Methods ; Results ; Conclusion.
