Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa pengaruh pemanfaatan fasilitas belajar dan kinerja staf Program Studi terhadap mutu layanan akademik Program Studi di Sekolah Pascasarjana Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket. Adapun subjek yang dijadikan sampel adalah mahasiswa dari 36 Program Studi yang ada di Sekolah Pascasarjana Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia yang berjumlah 352 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran umum mutu layanan akademik Program Studi di Sekolah Pascasarjana  Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia berada pada kategori tinggi. Sedangkan untuk pemanfaatan fasilitas belajar berada pada kategori cukup, dan kinerja staf Program Studi berada pada kategori baik. Secara parsial pemanfaatan fasilitas dan kinerja staf Program Studi memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap mutu layanan akademik Program Studi. Begitu juga sama halnya jika dilihat secara simultan bahwa pemanfaatan fasilitas belajar dan kinerja staf Program Studi sama memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap mutu layanan akademik Program Studi.Abstract This study aims to describe and analyze the effect of learning facilities utilization and study program staff performance towards quality of academic services for study program at the School of Postgraduate Studies Indonesia University of Education. The methode used in this study is a survey methode with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. The sampled-subject are students from 36 existing courses at the School of Postgraduate Studies Indonesia University of Education amounting to 352 student. The result show that the general picture of the quality of academic services for study program at School of Postgraduate Studies Indonesia University of Education are in the category. As for the use of learning facilities in the fairly well category, and study program staff performance is in the good category. In partial, utilization of the facilities and study program staff performance have a significant influence on the quality of academic services for study program. So is the same as if seen that the simultaneous learning facilities utilization and study program staff performance a significant influence on the quality of academic services for study program.

Abstract

The research titled “ The Effect Quality of Service Infrastructures to the satisfaction of students in the Faculty of Technology and Vocational Education University of Indonesia”. Issues addressed in this study is about how satisfied students are influenced by the quality of the service facilities and infrastructure. Generally, this study aims to find out the true picture regarding the quality of infrastructure services to the satisfaction of students in FPTK UPI. The method used in this research is descriptive method with quantitative approach. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires that were distributed to 96 students as the study sample. The result of the calculation using the general trend show that student satisfaction in the high category with an average score of 3.43 and quality of services in environmental infrastructure FPTK UPI included in the high category with an average score of 3.51. The correlation analysis using Pearson Product Moment, the correlation coefficient between variables X and Y is equal to 0.786 which shows that the correlation between the two variables are at high-level relations. The results of the significance test that is 12,3201,661, it means that the correlation coefficient between variables X and Y are significant with linear regression analysis equation that is: Ŷ = 9,661 + 0,806 X, this means that any change in one unit variable X will be followed by a change of variable Y for 0,806. It is concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship of Quality of Service Infrastructures on Student Satisfaction in FPTK UPI. The need to improve on the quality of service that is the responsiveness of the service while in terms of student satisfaction is the fulfillment of infrastructure for student activities.

Abstract

The principal's assistance to teachers can be identified from two sides, namely: organizational resource capacity and organizational management capacity. This community service is carried out with the aim of implementing the mentoring model carried out by elementary school principals in implementing the independent curriculum and identifying the competencies and skills of school principals which are the determinants of the principal's mentoring model. The results of Community Service obtained are the mapping of an effective model in the process of assisting school principals in the implementation of the independent curriculum and recommendations for guidance on the readiness of school principals in assisting teachers.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of the principals academic supervision to increase digital literacy on the teaching performance. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. This study took a sample of the population using a questionnaire instrument as a data collection technique. Schools that became the population and sample of 63 public elementary schools in Ciparay District. Sampling using a questionnaire which includes the location of the study in elementary school of Ciparay district with a total of 80 respondents. The results of this research explained that the principal's academic supervision effective to increase digital literacy the teacher on the management of teaching learning. The implication of the results of this study is that if the principal's academic supervision and digital literacy are carried out properly, it will have an impact on improving teacher learning management.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kompensasi dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap kinerja mengajar guru pada SMP Tham Vitya di Provinsi Yala Thailand Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner (angket). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Ada pengaruh kompensasi terhadap kinerja mengajar guru pada SMP Tham Vitya di Provinsi Yala Thailand Selatan dengan criteria tinggi. (2) Ada pengaruh motivasi berprestasi terhadap kinerja mengajar guru pada SMP Tham Vitya di Provinsi Yala Thailand Selatan dengan criteria sangat tinggi. (3) Pengaruh kompensasi dan motivasi berprestasi secara simultan terhadap kinerja mengajar guru pada SMP Tham Vitya di Provinsi Yala Thailand Selatan dengan kriteria sangat tinggi, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak dikaji dalam penelitian ini. Kinerja mengajar guru yang profesional perlu diperhatikan adalah aspek perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, serta perbaikan dan pengayaan pembelajaran secara efektivitas dan seefisien mungkin, untuk memperbaiki dan meningkatkan kinerja mengajar guru, perlu optimalisasi kompensasi guru yang efektif dan motivasi berprestasi guru yang tinggi.Kata Kunci: Kompensasi, Motivasi Berprestasi, Kinerja Mengajar Guru. AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the compensation and achievement motivation on the performance of teachers teaching at Junior Hight School Tham Vitya in South Thailand Yala Province. This study used a survey method with quantitative approach. Data collection tool used was a questionnaire (questionnaire). The results showed: (1) There is an effect of compensation to the performance of teachers teaching at Junior Hight School Tham Vitya in South Thailand Yala province with high criteria. (2) There is the influence of achievement motivation on the performance of teachers teaching at Junior Hight School Tham Vitya in South Thailand Yala province with very high criteria. (3) Effect of compensation and achievement motivation simultaneously on the performance of teachers teaching at Junior Hight School Tham Vitya in South Thailand Yala province with very high criteria, while the rest influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Performance professional teachers teach to note is the aspect of planning, implementation, evaluation, and improvement and enrichment learning effectiveness and as efficiently as possible, to improve and enhance the teaching performance of teachers, need to optimize effective teacher compensation and teacher achievement motivation high. Keywords: Compensation, Achievement Motivation, Teachers' Teaching Performance.

Abstract

AbstrakKepala sekolah merupakan komponen yang sangat strategis dan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan mutu sekolah. Karena itu diperlukan suatu kondisi yang mampu mendorong kepala sekolah untuk memperoleh prestasi kinerja yang lebih tinggi. Fokus masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana deskripsi kinerja kepala sekolah, kualitas kehidupan kerja, dan motivasi berprestasi kepala sekolah, serta berapa besar kontribusi kualitas kehidupan kerja dan motivasi berprestasi kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah. Tujuannyauntuk menganalisis dan memverifikasi terkait kontribusi kualitas kehidupan kerja dan motivasi berprestasi kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja kepala sekolahdi sekolah dasar terakrediasi A se-Kabupaten Cirebon. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan instrumen angket dan dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Objek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dasar negeri terakreditasi A di Kabupaten Cirebon dengan sampel sebanyak 69 kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kualitas kehidupan kerja berkontribusi terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah sebesar 34,3% (2) motivasi berprestasi kepala sekolah berkontribusi sebesar 28% (3) kualitas kehidupan kerja dan motivasi berprestasi kepala sekolah secara simultan berkontribusi terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah sebesar 37,3%. Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah pentingnya menciptakan kualitas kehidupan kerja sebagai iklim yang baik bagi kepala sekolah mengingat kinerja kepala sekolah merupakan faktor penting dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu sekolah. Kata Kunci           : Kualitas Kehidupan Kerja, Motivasi Berprestasi Kepala Sekolah, Kinerja Kepala Sekolah. AbstractThe principal is a very influential and strategic component to increase of the school’s quality. Due to that reason, it needs a certain situation which is able to encourage the school principal to gain a higher work achievement. The research’s focus is about how the description of the principal’sperformance, the quality of work life, the principal’s achievement motivation and how high the contribution of quality of work life and the achievement motivation tothe principal’s performance. The purpose is to analyze and verify the contribution of the quality of work life and the principal’s achievement motivation to the principal’s performance in public elementary schools accredited A in all Cirebon regency. The research method applied is a survey method with questionnaire instruments and is analyzed with the use of quantitative approach. The research object is the principals of public elementary schools accredited A in all Cirebon regency with 69 samples of the principals. The research result shows that (1) the quality of work life contributes to the principal’s performance by 34.3%, (2) the principal’s achievement motivation contributes to the principal’s performance by 28 %, (3) the quality of work life and the principal’s achievement motivation simultaneously contributes to the principal’s performance by 37.3%. The research’s recommendation is on the essential of creating the quality of work life as a good climate to the principals considering the principal’s performance as an important factor with a mean of increasing the school quality. Key words             : Quality of Work Life, Principal’s Achievement Motivation, Principal’sPerformance

Abstract

Abstrak Sekolah yang baik tentu bermutu di bidang pendidikan meliputi input, proses, output dan outcome. Karena itu, penelitian ini mengkaji faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi mutu sekolah. Kinerja manajerial kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah diduga lebih banyak berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan pencapaian mutu sekolah. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini yaitu seberapa besar pengaruh kinerja manajerial kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah terhadap mutu Sekolah Dasar Negeri terakreditasi A di Sub Rayon 11 Kota Bandung. Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengaruh kinerja manajerial kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah terhadap mutu sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data diperoleh dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 210 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja manajerial kepala sekolah, iklim sekolah, dan mutu sekolah berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Kinerja manajerial kepala sekolah berpengaruh terhadap mutu sekolah pada kategori rendah. Iklim sekolah berpengaruh terhadap mutu sekolah pada kategori sedang. Kinerja manajerial kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap mutu sekolah pada kategori sedang. Dari hasil penelitian ini, peneliti merekomendasikan: (1) kepala sekolah perlu meningkatkan kemampuan hubungan manusiawi; (2) membangun komunikasi yang lebih terbuka dan intensif dengan personel sekolah; (3) menciptakan iklim kebersamaan dan saling memiliki; (4) memberikan dorongan untuk meningkatkan sikap positif di sekolah; (3) mengadakan kegiatan upgrading, outbond, family gathering untuk menciptakan suasana akrab dan ramah, (5) membentuk jaringan kualitas pendidikan dengan orang tua; dan (2) bersikap lebih terbuka terhadap orang tua. Kata kunci: Mutu sekolah, kinerja manajerial kepala sekolah, iklim sekolah. Abstract A good school course quality school education includes input, process, output and outcome. Therefore, this study examines the factors that affect the quality of the school. Managerial performance of school principals and school climate allegedly more influence on the successful achievement of the quality of schools. The problem of this study is how much influence the managerial performance of school principals and school climate to quality public elementary school accredited in Sub Rayon 11 Bandung. The purpose of this study describes and analyzes the effect of managerial performance of school principals and school climate on the quality of the school. The method used is descriptive with quantitative approach. Data obtained by distributing questionnaires to 210 respondents. The results showed that managerial performance principals, school climate, and quality of school is located at the very high category. Managerial performance principals impact on the quality of schools in low category. School climate impact on the quality of schools in the middle category. Managerial performance of school principals and school climate together impact on the quality of schools in the category. From these results, the researchers recommend: (1) the principal need to improve human relationships; (2) build back a more open communication and intensive with school personnel; (3) creating a climate of togetherness and belonging; (4) to give boost to the positive attitude in school; (3) held upgrading, outbound, family gathering to create an intimate and friendly atmosphere, (5) form a network of quality of education by parents; and (2) a more open attitude towards parents. Keywords: Quality schools, principals managerial performance, school climate

Abstract

Pendidikan tinggi memiliki fungsi untuk membantu masyarakat agar memiliki kemampuan yang sangat tinggi sehingga mereka dapat memahami tantangan bersamaan dengan globalisasi dan ekonomi global, yang dapat digunakan untuk mensejahterakan bangsa dan negara yang sedang berkembang. Kondisi objektif bangsa, tantangan global dan tantangan teknologi informasi, membuat pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia berada dalam depresi yang sangat tinggi, mengembangkan pendidikan tinggi, terutama di era globalisasi saat ini, berharap untuk lingkungan eksternal yang dinamis di pendidikan tinggi, itu sangat dipengaruhi ekonomi pasar. Sebaliknya, peran dan posisi pendidikan tinggi juga dapat mempengaruhi pasar yang dinamis terutama dalam kaitannya dengan pengembangan sumber daya manusia dan pengetahuan dan teknologi. Lingkungan eksternal pendidikan tinggi adalah lingkungan strategis di mana kompetensi terus terjadi dan tak terbendung atau terhenti. Karena kebutuhan pendidikan tinggi akan konsep baru yang dapat mencapai keunggulan pelayanan agar mampu mempertahankan mahasiswa memperoleh nilai bersamaan dengan partisipasi mereka dalam pendidikan di pendidikan tinggi. Dengan demikian, sebagaimana mestinya pendidikan tinggi yang hadir seimbang dengankualitas, dengan demikian pendidikan tinggi memiliki keunggulan kompetitif. Keterbukaan untuk berinteraksi dengan berbagai dukungan strategis adalah karakter dasar yang sangat penting dan sebagai sarana untuk memindahkan cepatnya dan juga sebagai sarana untuk mengembangkan keunggulan kompetitifHigher education has functions to help society to have very high abilities thus they can understand the obstacles along with the globalization and global economy, which can be used to welfare nation and developing country. Objective nation condition, global challenge and challenge of technology information, makes higher education in Indonesia is in very high depression, developing higher education, particularly in this globalization era nowadays, hope to the dynamic external environment of higher education that is very influence by market economy. The opposite, role and position of higher education can also influence market dynamic especially in relation with the development of Human Resources and knowledge and technology. External environment of this higher education is strategic environment where competency continuously occurs and unstoppable or stopped. Therefore higher education needs new concept that can reached service excellence in order able to maintain college students to gain value along with their participation in education of higher education. Thus as it should be higher education present balance with good quality thus has competitive advantage. Openness to interact with various strategic support is a basic character that is very important and as the means to move fastly and also as means to develop competitive advantage.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dan motivasi berprestasi guru terhadap kinerja mengajar guru sekolah dasar negeri di Kabupaten Sumedang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian expos facto. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen kuisioner yang dikembangkan sendiri oleh peneliti. Keseluruhan data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi. Penentuan responden menggunakan proporsional random sampling yaitu pengambilan data secara acak dari seluruh anggota populasi menjadi responden penelitian yakni berjumlah 110 orang guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja mengajar guru sebesar 24,8%. Ini mengandung arti bahwa semakin baik supervisi akademik kepala sekolah maka akan semakin baik pula kinerja mengajar guru  (2) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara motivasi berprestasi guru terhadap kinerja mengajar guru sebesar 45,5%. Ini mengandung arti bahwa semakin tinggi motivasi berpresasi guru maka akan semakin baik pula kinerja mengajarnya (3) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara bersama-sama antara supervisi akademik kepala sekolah, motivasi berprestasi guru  terhadap kinerja mengajar guru SD Negeri di Kabupaten Sumedang sebesar 52,2%. Mengandung arti bahwa semakin baik supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dan semakin tinggi motivasi berpresatasi guru maka semakin baik kinerja mengajar guru. Kata kunci: supervisi akadenik kepala sekolah, motivasi berprestasi dan kinerja mengajar guru.  AbstractThe purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of the academic supervision of school principals and achievement motivation of teachers to teach the performance of public primary school teachers in Sumedang. This research is expos facto. Data were collected using a questionnaire instruments developed by researcher. Overall the data were analyzed using regression analysis. Determination of respondents using proportional random sampling random data retrieval from all members of the population were respondents in the study were 110 teachers. The results showed that: (1) There is a positive and significant impact on the academic supervision of the school head teacher's teaching performance by 24.8%. This implies that the better the academic supervision of the school head then it will be better the teacher's teaching performance (2) There is a positive and significant influence between achievement motivation of teachers to the teacher's teaching performance of 45.5%. This implies that the higher the motivation of teachers berpresasi it will be better the performance of teaching (3) There is a positive and significant effect jointly between the academic supervision of the school head, the performance achievement motivation of teachers to teach elementary school teacher in Sumedang 52.2 %. Implies that the better the academic supervision of school principals and the higher the motivation berpresatasi the better performance of teachers teaching teachers. Keywords: academic supervision principals, achievement motivation and performance of teachers to teach
