Abstract

Opening Bumper is a short animation opening video in a program that describes the identity of an event or agency. One of the TV programs was "Bincang Santai" which airs on the local television station, iNews Batam. However, the opening bumper of the “Bincang Santai” program has been showing for more than 4 years, which doesn’t represent the identity of the current “Bincang Santai” program. Therefore, a new opening bumper was made in motion graphic form. In making the opening bumper, the Sherwood-Rout method was used. Furthermore, analysis of the feasibility as an opening bumper and the perception of the public through the EPIC Model approach. The results of the research are: (1) The resulting opening bumper has a duration of 18 seconds in .mpg format. The opening bumper contains a brief snippet of the “Bincang Santai” TV program with various motion graphic elements; (2) Opening bumper as the “Bincang Santai” opening bumper is considered feasible based on indicators: typography, color, visual effects, objects, and music, which reaches a score of 4.22; (3) The opening bumper is considered effective in conveying the identity of the “Bincang Santai” TV program in brief, based on the average EPIC dimension achievement of 4.59.

Abstract

Animated films are one of the entertainment media displayed by electronic devices such as televisions, computers, and smartphones. Animated films can also be used as a good learning medium to convey moral messages that can be addressed to all people from children to adults. In making animated films, it is necessary to write a script as the basic concept of making animated films. Script writing is the process of writing a story into a film scenario that contains story ideas, premise, plot, audio, storyline which are important in making animated films. The manuscript uses the 3-Act-Structure theory and was made using the Celtx application, then the feasibility of its production was analyzed. The animated film scripts produced are scripts and storyboards. The results of manuscript analysis based on 3-Act-Structure reached 80%, meaning that it met the criteria very well so it was feasible to be produced.

Abstract

EAJP (East Asia Japan Pacific) sebagai salah satu region di Schneider Electric, berupaya menjaga kepuasan pelanggan dari sisi kualitas dan keutamaan perusahaan dari sisi keselamatan delivery dan produktivitas yang disebut dengan SPS (Schneider Performance System), melalui GSC (Global Supply Chain). Berdasarkan hasil audit SPS, card 5A-Ergonomics belum mencapai standar score, sehingga dibutuhkan sebuah solusi yang ditawarkan dalam penelitian ini adalah pelatihan karyawan melalui media pembelajaran dalam bentuk “flash video”. Melalui mediai ini, diharapkan dapat memberikan pengetahuan tentang ergonomic yang menjadi kebiasaan karyawan Schneider Electric. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan flash video dan analisis produk yang dihasilkan. Pengembangan flash video pada penelitian ini digunakan sebuah metode yaitu Research and Development (RD) dengan menggunakan serta menerapkan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement dan Evaluate). Selanjutnya, menganalisis tingkat pemahaman karyawan menggunakan pendekatan formatif-sumatif melalui angket. Hasil penelitian adalah menghasilkan flash berdurasi pendek yaitu 2 menit 55 detik dengan format MP4 yang memuat tentang informasi penjelasan office ergonomic (bekerja yang nyaman di kantor) sesuai dengan ketentuan yang dimiliki SPS (Schneider Performance System). Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, produk ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman karyawan Schneider terhadap office ergonomic melalui hasil audit score ergonomic yang mengalami peningkatan yaitu dari score 2.75 menjadi 3 sehingga sudah mencapai standar score. Hasil evaluasi formatif mencapai 100% artinya konten dan informasi office ergonomic yang disampaikan dalam produk sesuai dengan ketentuan yang dimiliki SPS. Sedangkan hasil evaluasi sumatif mencapai 90% setuju terhadap media pembelajaran dalam bentuk flash video sebagai bahan pelatihan karyawan Schneider dalam memahami office ergonomic berdasarkan aspek persepsi, pembelajaran dan kemampuan produk yang dihasilkan. Oleh karena itu flash video dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media penyampaian materi pelatihan karyawan Schneider di mana pun dan kapan pun.

Abstract

Ms. Glow is a Skincare and Cosmetic Product, which has expanded its wings in the digital realm. Some of the business strategies implemented: (1) keep interacting online with offline because not all targets can access only one channel; (2)cooperate with as many public figures as possible from micro, macro to mega public figures; (3)live broadcasting of talk show sessions through social media or partners because in this way it can reach a wider target; (4) present in every marketing channel, such as television, radio, print media, displaying billboards in the expansion area or even Videotron. Based on data from the sales inventory, new products and products that are rarely promoted through advertising, have lower sales turnover, when compared to products that are often advertised. This research creates an advertisement video for Ms. Glow's new product, Nail Polish. The research method applied is Research and Development, namely making video ads using the Four D model, and analyzing people's behaviour towards Ms. Glow products using a mixed method, namely through a netnography approach. The results showed that this 58-second video was able to have a positive influence on people's behaviour, namely being interested and even buying the advertised product.

Abstract

Apprentices at Batam TV are required to understand the production process at Batam TV, such as the production process for the Detak Kepri Malam, and other programs. The presentation of the material is delivered through presentations using the PowerPoint application and presented by the presenter. The level of visits is very high, taking up Batam TV's time for presentations. The solution offered is the presentation of material in the form of motion graphics. The research method uses RnD, namely making presentation material products in the form of motion graphics using the Villamil-Molina method, then analyzing the application of motion graphic aspects and presentation material aspects using Quasi Experiment Nonequivalent Control Group Design through a Paired sample T-test. The results showed that the media presentation to explain the production process of Detak Kepri Malam in video form was considered effective. The video lasts 2 minutes 30 seconds and is in Mp4 format and is displayed using a prompter in the Batam TV broadcast studio so it doesn't depend on the presenter of the material, and is easy to access via the Batam TV YouTube channel.

Abstract

One form of service provided by the Riau Islands Regional Police during the Covid-19 pandemic is an emergency call service through the call for 110 integrated public services. To counter the public perception that dealing with the police is tedious and complicated, it is necessary to have media to facilitate the public in reporting disruptions to law and order. One of the media that can be used is video to educate, socialize or inform its services. The research begins with making public service advertisements about 110 in the form of video. Analysis of the effect of the resulting video on people's behavior was then carried out. The research method used was Research and Development, namely making videos, applying the stages of making multimedia products to Luther Sutopo, and analyzing the effect of video on people's behavior on reporting through 110. After the video has been made and has gone through the testing process, it is then analyzed based on the results of observations by reviewers in alpha testing and beta testing using T-test. The result of the research is a video advertisement for public services about the integrated public services 110 that was produced in the form of dialogue (dramatic) with a duration of 4 minutes and 18 seconds in Mp4 format. The results of the analysis concluded that there was a positive influence on the behavior of the people of Batam, especially in the behavior of preventive actions when a crime occurred.

Abstract

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, the role of technology has increased, especially in the dissemination of information, educational media, and activities in other forms of digitalization. Along with this, public services also need to be continuously improved. One of the government services of the Batam City Regional Revenue Agency related to the PBB payment method at the Batam City BAPENDA office still needs to be improved, especially for problems in payments. One of the digital media that can be used for this problem is educational media for the public in the form of motion graphics. The development of educational media applies the ADDIE model. The results showed that there was an increase in public knowledge of PBB payments by 28%. Assessment based on perception, learning and product performance, obtained 98.88%, which means the product can be used as an educational medium for PBB payment procedures, especially at the BAPENDA office in Batam.
