Abstract

This study aim was to describes the types of characters found in the novel Dancing in the Rain by Tisa TS and Stanley Meulen. The results of the research are then used as content for learning materials at the high school level. This research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique used in this research is reading and note-taking technique. The data analysis technique was carried out qualitatively. Presentation of data is presented in the form of words as a description of the data obtained. Based on the results of the analysis found 3 types of character characters include: (a) basic characters; (b) superior character; (c) leader character.ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan jenis karakter tokoh yang terdapat dalam novel Dancing in the Rain karya Tisa TS dan Stanley Meulen. Hasil penelitian kemudian  dimanfaatkan sebagai muatan materi belajar di tingkat SMA. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data  yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik baca catat. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif. Penyajian data disajikan dalam bentuk kata-kata sebagai pendeskripsian data yang diperoleh. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan 3 jenis karakter tokoh meliputi: (a) karakter dasar; (b) karakter unggul; (c) karakter pemimpin.

Abstract

This study describes the moral values in the tales of the Classica Kompas website from January to April 2020 edition. The results of this study utilize the tales of the Classica Kompas website as the content of moral values in Indonesian language learning at the junior high school level. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using documentation study techniques. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. Technique of presenting data by describing the moral values found. The results of data analysis found that there are 4 types of moral values, namely (a) human relationship with God; (b) man's relationship with himself; (c) human-human relations in the social sphere; (d) human relationship with nature.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mendeskripsikan nilai moral dalam dongeng situs Klasika Kompas edisi Januari sampai April 2020. Hasil penelitian ini memanfaatkan dongeng situs Klasika Kompas sebagai muatan nilai moral dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia tingkat SMP. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik penyajian data dengan mendeskripsikan nilai moral yang ditemukan. Hasil analisis data yang ditemukan terdapat 4 jenis nilai moral yaitu (a) hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan; (b) hubungan manusia dengan dirinya sendiri; (c) hubungan manusia dengan manusia dalam lingkup sosial; (d) hubungan manusia dengan alam.

Abstract

The novel entitled Penyalin Cahaya by Lucia Priandarini is interesting to examine from the aspect of the inner conflict experienced by the main character. The inner conflict that occurs in the novel is caused by a case of sexual harassment against the main character. The aim of this research is to describe the inner conflict experienced by the main character of the novel Pelipin Cahaya by Lucia Priandarini. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The approach used is a literary psychology approach. The data collection technique used is a documentation technique in three ways, namely, literature study, reading technique, and note-taking technique. The instrument used is a data card for classifying forms of inner conflict. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique. The results of this research found 50 data on forms of inner conflict and 50 data on causes of inner conflict. The forms of inner conflict found were (3) depression, (2) obsession, (7) anxiety, (4) frustration, (2) feeling of security, (3) dissatisfaction, (7) hurt, (6) fear, (4) guilt, (8) anger, and (4) inadequacy. Meanwhile, the causes of inner conflict found were (5) physiological needs, (22) security needs, (7) love and belonging needs, (7) self-esteem needs, and (9) self-actualization needs. This research can have implications for literature learning at the high school/vocational school level.
