Abstract

Self-understanding is important for every individual to understand himself realistically, both his strengths and weaknesses. The ultimate goal of self-understanding is to accept himself, himself as he is. Self-understanding is based on the existence of accurate and valid self-information. Accurate personal information will be used for consideration in self-direction, determination and decision making related to career or job that will be entered. Knowing your potential and personal qualities is very important in an effort to understand yourself, direct yourself and also develop yourself. The method used in this activity is to use the lecture method to present the material and exercises to the participants using instruments in the form of worksheets / assignments. Based on the results of these activities, it can be concluded that after participating in the training, students are able to recognize their own potential and personal qualities as seen from the level of understanding of 75%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan layanan Bimbingan Kelompok dengan Teknik Modeling dapat meningkatkan Disiplin Belajar Siswa SMP Bintang Laut Tobelo. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan penelitian secara kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian melalui skala disiplin belajar terhadap 29 siswa di SMP Bintang Laut Tobelo, menunjukan bahwa terdapat 10 siswa dengan disiplin belajar pada kategori tinggi, 5 siswa pada kategori sedang dan 14 siswa pada kategori rendah. Hasil data Pretest menunjukan bahwa rata-rata disiplin belajar siswa yang menjadi sampel penelitian yaitu sebesar 67,4, sedangkan hasil data Posttest menunjukan bahwa rata- rata disiplin belajar siswa sebesar 96,9 dengan selisih 29,5. Hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji Paired t-test menunjukan bahwa hasil nilai signifikan yaitu sebesar 0,000. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05 maka Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak, yang artinya bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik modeling dapat meningkatkan disiplin belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Bintang Laut Tobelo.
