Abstract

The KKN Malay Serumpun IV of the Langsa State Islamic Institute, Situated in Rimba Sawang Village within the Tenggulun District of Aceh Tamiang Regency, Aceh Province, this initiative represents a form of community service. The Malay Serumpun KKN program is scheduled for over 40 days, from July 20 to August 28, 2024. The primary focus of this initiative is to provide teaching assistance, complemented by various supplementary activities. The overarching goal of the Malay Serumpun KKN program is to enhance the educational quality in Rimba Sawang Village. The methodology employed in this program includes both survey and observational activities and strategic planning for the initiatives. The outcomes of this program reveal that the instructional methods derived from the observations emphasize interactive learning and the implementation of independent learning-based teaching strategies. This is evidenced by the collaborative efforts between the Malay Serumpun KKN students and various stakeholders, including educators, community members, and local officials. It is anticipated that the Malay Serumpun KKN initiative will yield significant benefits for the community, educators, and other involved parties, as well as for the participating students.
