Abstract

This paper aims to describe ​​the process of religious conversion conducted by five ethnic Chinese muallafs at Yayasan Haji Karim Oei Jakarta. This study also describes the state of anomie experienced by muallafs in the post-religious conversion time and the adaptation to face the anomic circumstances. Qualitative approach with case study method is the research approach used in this research. Observations and interviews were used as data collection. This study uses the concept of systemic stage model by Rambo Lewis to examine the process of religious conversion and the concept of anomie by Emile Durkheim to examine the social state of post-religious conversion. In fact, that the religious conversion is caused by internal factor which is inner crisis and also caused by external factors such as living in a social sphere dominated by the majority of Muslims, the factor of marriage, and religious lectures performed by the religious leaders.

Abstract

The essence of empowerment was to build community’s consciousness of recognizing the existing potency and to utilize such potency to deal with the problems encountered. Therefore, community empowerment is highly determined by the community itself, rather than by outsiders facilitating. This research aimed to describe concept, implementation, and output of food self-sufficiency development conducted by Geneng Hamlet people in Jambakan Village of Bayat Sub District of Klaten Regency in solving the problem faced. The research was conducted using qualitative approach. Data was explored using observation, in-depth interview, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive technique. The result of research showed that the concept of dealing with food vulnerability during dry season was designed by submitting infaq to Al-Ikhlas mosque in the form of dry rice in each of harvest seasons. In implementation domain, this collected infaq was managed professionally through rice barn (lumbung) to be distributed to its jamaah (community) in the form of loan and sympathetic care. The output was very positive as it could suffice the need for food during dry season, people can access the resource needed, and rice barn could help the weak group and the meritorious people in Geneng Hamlet.

Abstract

Honesty has discussed in various disciplines. Honesty studies have carried out to examine the relationship of honesty with many factors that influence certain fields of science. This study aims to present a multidimensional study to convey the goodness of honesty as a tangible manifestation of the normative message that honesty guide to goodness and it will lead to happiness. This study uses a text analysis method in the form of a literature review through searching several resources. The sources that found is analysed by Wilson's procedure. The results of this study shows that honesty as a whole has a good impact on the physical health and mental health of individuals. Honesty related to many psychological attributes. Therefore, it recommended embedding motivations in educational honesty that concluded from various scientific disciplines.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti pengembangan professionalisme guru madrasah Aliyah dengan penguatan konsep khalifah di Riau. Meletakkan konsep khalifah sebagai variabel peramal merupakan salah satu pendekatan dalam membentuk profesionalisme guru madrasah. Sebanyak 320 guru dijadikan sampel penelitian terdiri dari guru Madrasah Aliyah negeri dan swasta di 12 kabupaten/kota seluruh Provinsi Riau. Dengan menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dan pendekatan kaidah penelitian ex post facto, telah ditetapkan angket untuk mengukur konsep khalifah dan profesionalisme guru madrasah. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif untuk perihal tingkatan variabel serta statistik inferensial untuk menguji hipotesisi yang dibina melalui ujian t, ANNOVA, dan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tahap konsep khalifah berada dalam tahap yang tinggi, sementara profesionalisme guru madrasah aliyah berada pada tahap yang rendah. Hasil penelitian dapat membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh konsep khalifah dalam membentuk profesionalisme guru Madrasah Aliyah Se-Provinsi Riau sebesar 74%. Penemuan penelitian ini merekemondasikan pembinaan suatu modul prevensi maupun intervensi terhadap profesionalisme guru madrasah melalui asas konsep khalifah. Di samping itu, sumbangan kepada Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia untuk penyusunan kurikulum dengan memasukkan materi konsep khalifah pada pendidikan tinggi keagamaan Islam

Abstract

Over the last several decades have witnessed nothing short of a transformation in the study of religion. The human race lives in a time of deep concern for the future of the biosphere. Globalization can bring a paradox to the practice of Islamic education. Islamic education has a significant role in shaping the ethics and morals in the life of the people and of the nation to create religious and devoted people. The objective of this study was to describe the Islamic education learning approaches discourse strategy, the basic concept, classification, strategies, and its steps of developingto develop. This is a qualitative study using the main data source from literature, so it needs data elaboration from various literature. The data collection procedure by analyzing the literature using an analytical descriptive method. The results show that it’s time for Islamic education learning to develop an active learning method through good strategic planning so it can shape the students’ emotional intelligence. The implication of this result is scientific contribution and the concept of strategic approaches to Islamic education and as one of the efforts in developing the students’ emotional intelligence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana internalisasi nilai ecopesantren dalam membentuk karakter peduli lingkungan. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori internalisasi nilai. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan, dokumentasi, studi literatur dan wawancara dengan Pimpinan Pondok Pesantren, guru, serta para santri. Abstract

This study aims to develop a multiliteration of Arabic language learning based on local wisdom in public universities that are valid, effective, efficient, and practical so that it can be used as an alternative to other learning models applied by Arabic lecturers. This study uses a qualitative approach with the pattern "the dominantless dominant design" and research and development (R&D) research design. The research was conducted in two stages: (1) a preliminary study (exploratory study), and (2) development of a model (Action Research. Collecting data through interviews, observations, documentation, questionnaires (tests), and FGDs. The results showed: 1) learning Arabic is too behavioristic and only produces mechanistic language skills, 2) Multiliterated Arabic learning must enable students to carry out the process of intensification and extensification of their ability to communicate using Arabic so as to develop their abilities and communication skills using language Arabic independently by using multiple sources and media, 3) multiliterated Arabic learning that places students in the context of real life must be accompanied by understanding and awareness of the importance of the integration of Indonesian local wisdom in the learning process, 4) Components and syntax of multiliterated Arabic learning models based on Local wisdom refers to empirical and theoretical findings, namely objectives, methods, materials and evaluation of learning.
