Honesty has discussed in various disciplines. Honesty studies have carried out to examine the relationship of honesty with many factors that influence certain fields of science. This study aims to present a multidimensional study to convey the goodness of honesty as a tangible manifestation of the normative message that honesty guide to goodness and it will lead to happiness. This study uses a text analysis method in the form of a literature review through searching several resources. The sources that found is analysed by Wilson's procedure. The results of this study shows that honesty as a whole has a good impact on the physical health and mental health of individuals. Honesty related to many psychological attributes. Therefore, it recommended embedding motivations in educational honesty that concluded from various scientific disciplines.

The quality and quantity of mother and child attachment have often been discussing. Nevertheless, how the quality and quantity of the relationship between father and son, especially in shaping the child's personality is still rarely found. In the life of a child, sometimes role, the father is not felt because his figure is busy outside the home. Also provides an assumption that the father does not influence raising and educating children. The context of Islamic education in the family, the figure of the father, is the spiritual basis that underlies the role of parents in educating their children. A person's character formed early on. In this case, the role of the family is indeed very influential. The education of the father in the family is critical and is a fundamental pillar of character building for a child. From a child's father learns, hardened, brave, responsible, and easy to get along with the outside world. This study aims to present the role of fathers in shaping the character of children in terms of the study of texts and contexts through the field of psychology in Islamic education. The contextual study presents the latest research that proves the influence of the father in many ways for children and terms of the text of this study will present the primary sources of guidance for Muslim life, namely the Qur'an and the Hadith. So the implications given are not only normative but grounded to be able to broaden understanding and add new constructs for the implementation of the father and son relationship.

AbstractThis study aims at exploring the educational honesty that a school in Aceh has created to discover the fundamental principles and definitions of honesty education that schools have built up to promote integrity in the schools. Data collected through a qualitative approach, interview, observation, and documentation study. The results of this research showed that educational honesty could work well because it focused on universal, academic, and professional principles that established philosophical values. The definition of truth designed from the foundation level of schools, schools in general and taught in detail in the classroom. The concept of educational honesty is stronger because it has included in the Vision, Mission, Objectives, and School Programs. This research expected to offer a new idea of honesty education in schools.AbstrakStudi ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kejujuran pendidikan yang telah diciptakan oleh sebuah sekolah di Aceh untuk menemukan prinsip-prinsip dasar dan definisi pendidikan kejujuran yang telah dibangun oleh sekolah untuk meningkatkan integritas di sekolah-sekolah tersebut. Data dikumpulkan melalui pendekatan kualitatif, wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kejujuran pendidikan dapat bekerja dengan baik karena berfokus pada prinsip-prinsip universal, akademik, dan profesional yang menetapkan nilai-nilai filosofis. Definisi kebenaran dirancang dari tingkat dasar sekolah, sekolah pada umumnya dan diajarkan secara rinci di kelas. Konsep kejujuran pendidikan lebih kuat karena sudah termasuk dalam Visi, Misi, Tujuan, dan Program Sekolah. Talking about Islamic education conceptually and theoretically is undoubtedly. Many arguments in the Qur'an and Hadith explained the purposes and scopes of Islamic education. There were numerous values and more than eighteen grades of characters, which were discussed by educational leaders. Islam respected the values of peace and tolerance in religion, thus, Muslims can live in diversity and plurality in Indonesia, which is not only different in religions and beliefs but also different in tribes, cultures and languages. However, the understanding of values and concepts is not enough to ensure realization of peace, yet it needs maturity in religion. The process to achieve maturity also requires guidance and habituation especially against adolescents who have trouble in looking for identity. Therefore, it is necessary to seek a solution for this problem. The purpose of this article is to describe how the conditions of religious life in the homeland that have relation to inter-religious and cultural. Furthermore, it may give solution to realize the maturity of religion for adolescents in high school and college, because this young generation will determine the climate of peace in the country.

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perpustakaan desa yang sudah ada namun belum berjalan dengan maksimal. Perpustakaan tersebut adalah perpustakaan Matahati yang terdapat di dusun Ngajaran desa Sidomulyo kecamatan Bambanglipuro Bantul. Metode pelaksanaan dalam pengabdiam ini adalah dengan tahap persiapan yang terdiri dari koordinasi internal tim PKM, survey lokasi kegiatan, mengurus perijinan, pembuatan instrumen PKM dan materi untuk kegiatan di lapangan, melakukan pendampingan dan pelatihan pengelolaan perpustakaan. Tahap akhir dalam pengabdian ini adalah monitoring dan evaluasi sebagai umpan balik pelaksanaan PKM. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatnya minat membaca anak-anak yang berada disekitar perpustakaan Desa. Selanjutnya pengabdian ini juga mewujudkan terbentuknya koordinasi yang baik antara pengabdi dan pengurus perpustakaan desa yang bertujuan untuk pengembangan perpuatskaan desa agar dapat dimamfaatkan dengan lebih maksimal.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION STRENGTHENING TO IMPROVE PSYCHOLOGICAL WELLBEING OF BURUH GENDONG WOMEN IN GIWANGAN MARKET. Everyone efforts to meet their needs are pursued in various ways in life. A unique thing that happens in Yogyakarta precisely in the Giwangan market is that a number of elderly women continue to make a living in surprising ways. Some elderly women, who were then called buruh gendong, lifted items that were more than normal. With a piece of striated batik cloth, they can lift weights of more than 50 kg. These buruh gendong work from morning till dawn. Its activities have been taken a long time until they have advanced age. Almost all of these workers are Muslims, the problem is that they are tired from working all day and the schedule cannot be ascertained, making them lose their time to worship and do not have time to study. Initial survey results show that many of them have not been able to read the Qur'an. So that this service aims to provide assistance in the context of strengthening the religious character, especially through the Qur'an recitation. The output of this service is expected to create a religious atmosphere in the Giwangan market. The workers work but also can maintain and feel the meaningfulness of their lives through mentoring to strengthen the religious character. This dedication works in collaboration with the Annisa Swasti Foundation (YASANTI), which has long accompanied them in the process of advocating and organizing workers in Yogyakarta.

Abstract: Reading is opening the window of the world, finding lots of knowledge and opening up one's insights. So reading is the most important thing in education, but the fact is children's interest in reading, especially in Indonesia is still very minimal. This study aims to find out how parenting was developed by parents of students who excel at the As-Shafa Islamic Elementary School in Pekanbaru, Riau in increasing children's reading interest. The research method used in this study was qualitative phenomenology, data collection was carried out through interviews and interactive documentation in three components of analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results obtained in the study that the majority of parents of outstanding students are busy working but still taking the time to give love, protection, guidance, accompany children in learning, direction and education in daily life. While the patterns found are mostly using democratic and situational patterns. This research suggests that parents maintain the quality of attachment with children and spend a lot of time in accompanying them to learn.
