Abstract

This study aims at identifying, analyzing, and classifying the mistakes that students make in grades (second, third, and fourth) in the elementary stage in Aseer in reading aloud and developing a proposed program to treat these errors. The study used the experimental approach. The study sample consisted of (72) male and female students from the study population, representing the three grade levels. 24 students (12 males and 12 females) were taken from each grade, and the study sample was taken from seven schools. The results of the study showed that there are no statistically significant differences in students ’reading errors due to the gender variable. The prevalence of reading errors in students’ readings is not related to males or females or vice versa. Despite the difference between the reader's gender and the teacher’s gender, the differences came free of any clear statistical significance. The study revealed statistically significant differences in students’ mastery of some reading skills due to the gender variable. The skills that showed differences are observing punctuation, meaning skills, and reading speed. Females were better than males in these skills, and there were no statistically significant differences in the remaining reading skills between the genders. The study recommended preparing training courses to familiarize male and female teachers with the latest findings of studies related to reading to employ them in educational situations and providing teachers with methods to diagnose students' weakness in reading.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to enable students' learning outcomes in the subjects of electronic fundamentals by using simulation software. The type of research conducted is class action research conducted in several cycles and stages including, Pretest, treatment and Post test. The subjects of this study were electrical engineering students with a total of 36 students. This is the predictor of success in this study when in the classroom 85% or more of the number of students obtained an average score of 75. Based on the research obtained pre test results 30.5% above average value of 75%. after several cycle treatment and post test results get a score of 82.9 % students who get a score above KKM 75. With the graduation result of students above KKM grades increased from the initial 30.5% to 82.9%, there was a 54% increase in student grades above KKM. With this analysis, researchers proved that software simulator media used can increase the interest in learning theory of learning and learning outcomes of students in class XII TITL 3 at SMK N 2 Surabaya.

In order to improve the morality of the younger generation who are increasingly concerned today, the Pesantren Education Institute is one of the main choices for parents to educate children to prioritize religious values as the foundation of their children's education. Pesantren is considered as a typical Indonesian Educational Institution that has long existed Indonesia which is believed not only to print a generation of intelligent students but also noble character. With the system applied differently from other public schools, namely the boarding system. The number of students with various social and family economic backgrounds makes the condition of pesantren heterogeneous. Of course, the problems are also diverse, because there is a stereotype in pesantren students who are certainly noble. However, in fact the motives of parents to put children into pesantren not all start from good santri morality, but many students also have problems before and it is expected that pesantren can change the morality of the students
