Abstract

One of the biggest problems for farmers in the dry season is the lack of water supply for irrigation. Currently, various types of pumps have been widely used, such as fuel pumps and pumps with PLN electricity. However, the costs required to operate these tools are quite expensive. The solution offered is to replace it with a 12 volt 50 Watt DC submersible water pump. The purpose of this study, namely to determine the productivity of the DC submersible pump in terms of the resulting discharge for various storage height conditions used. The research is an experimental research through Gold Standard Project-Based Learning (Gold Standard PBL)method consisting of Challenging Problem or Questions, Sustained Inquiry, Autheticity, Student Voice and Choice, Reflection, Critique and Revision, Publict Product. The results of this study, namely the height of the reservoir has an effect on the resulting discharge, there is a reduction in the resulting discharge every 0.5 m increase in the height of the reservoir. Based on the results of the analysis using Microsoft Excel, it is obtained that the maximum height limit for submersible pump push is 3.7 m using a ¾ inch hose. The results of this study can be a reference for farmers or users to determine the height of the water reservoir

Abstract

This study aims to find out the difference in student learning satisfaction of the University of Flores Physics Education Study Program before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research methods used are quantitative methods with the type of research, namely survey research, as well as data collection techniques using questionnaires. The sample taken in this study was a student of Physics Education University of Flores semester IV, VI and VIII which amounted to 65 people. The data analysis technique used in this study consists of several parts, namely: descriptive analysis, normality test, paired sample t-test and hypothesis test that will be analyzed with the help of SPSS Statistics 24 software. The results of the data analysis concluded that there were differences in student satisfaction of the University of Flores Physics Education Study Program before and during the covid-19 pandemic. This is seen from Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05, which is 0.001 < 0.05 then the data showed a significant difference.

Abstract

Perguruan tinggi memegang peranan yang penting dalam mencetak sumber daya manuasia yang unggul, kompeten dan berdaya saing tinggi. Salah satu aspek penilaian di perguruan tinggi adalah akreditasi. Kelulusan tepat waktu mahasiswa merupakan bagian dari penilaian akreditasi. Studi ini difokuskan pada analisis diskriminan dan klasifikasi ketepatan masa studi mahasiswa Pendidikan fisika di FPMIPA UPI pada tahun angkatan masuk 2011-2015 atau yang mulai lulus 2015 sampai 2019. Jumlah total responden sebanyak 120 dengan komposisi 64 lulusan tepat waktu dan 56 lulusan tidak tepat waktu. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuiosoner yang disebar melalui google form ke alumni. Variabel yang dipandang mempengaruhi ketepatan masa studi meliputi skor Fisika Dasar I, IPK semester II, semester dimana mahasiswa mengontrak skripsi, semester dimana mahasiswa mengontrak PPL,  frekuensi bimbingan dengan pembimbing akademik, dan frekuensi bimbingan dengan pembimbing skripsi. Hasil analisis diskriminan menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang membedakan kelulusan tepat waktu/ ketepatan masa studi  meliputi, skor Fisika Dasar 1 ( ), semester saat mahasiswa kontrak skripsi ( ) , frekuensi Bimbingan Akademik per semester ( ) dan lama/waktu penyusunan skripsi ( ) dengan  fungsi diksriminan, . Sedangkan untuk analisis klasifikasi sebagai prediksi menghasilkan nilai kritis di  Hasil lainnya menunjukkan bahwa model /fungsi diskriminan yang dihasilkan memiliki ketepatan yang sangat tinggi yaitu 95,83 %. Hasil ini diharapkan dapat membantu meningkatkan jumlah lulusan tepat waktu dan mengantisipasi persoalan-persoalan  yang berpotensi menghambat penyelesaian studi mahasiswa.

Abstract

this is a pre-experiment research which aims: 1) to know to what extent the students’ skill of science process in learning to measure the temperature by using digital based thermometer to the first semester students of Physics Education of Tarbiyah and Teaching Science Faculty at UIN Alauddin Makassar,? 2) to know how to use effective digital based thermometer toward the skill of science process to the first semester students of Physics Education of Tarbiyah and Teaching Science Faculty at UIN Alauddin Makassar? The research design used here is one shot case study. The population consists of 77 first semester students of Physics Education in UIN Alauddin Makassar. This population is divided into two classes. Meanwhile, It takes the sample type of simple radom sampling with the total of 30 people. The result of this study showed that the average score of students’ skill in science process after using digital based thermometer was 83,17. This score was in the level of category of high and very high. The result was also strengthened by the result of hypothesis test which utilized t-test. It was found that the tcalculate was 6,748 and the score of ttable was 1,697. Since the score of tcalculate was bigger than the ttable (tcalculate   >  ttable), thus the H0 was accepted and the Ha was rejected. Then, It could be concluded that the use of digital based thermometer was effective toward the skill of science process of the first semester students of Physics Education of Tarbiyah and Teaching Science Faculty in UIN Alauddin Makassar. The implication of this research can train students skill in learning science that are obtained in class. So they can develop students science process skill in the laboratory. The shortcomings of this research connot be maximized because of the lack of learning time, the next researcher is expected use more time to apply teaching aids to material that has many concepts

Abstract

The study was conducted to: determine the critical thinking skills of students before and after being taught with the guided inquiry learning model assisted by three tier test, determine the critical thinking skills of students before and after being taught by the direct instruction learning model and determine the differences in the critical thinking skills of students who are taught using the direct instruction model guided inquiry learning model assisted by three tier test with students who are taught using direct instruction learning model. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The study was conducted at MAN Pinrang with a population all students of class XI MIPA at MAN Pinrang. The number of samples taken was 22 students in the control class (XI MIPA 1) and 22 students in the experimental class (XI MIPA 2). Hypothesis testing using a two-sample independent t-test with the results showed that the hypothesis test obtained a sign value (2-tailed) of 0,000. Because the sign value (2-tailed) < 0,05, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So we can be concluded there are differences in the critical thinking skills of students who are taught using the guided inquiry learning model assisted by three tier test with those taught using the direct instruction learning model for class XI MIPA at MAN Pinrang.

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning products in the form of interactive online-based teaching materials for class X students of physics subject measurement materials at SMK Muhammadiyah Bungoro. This type of research is development research. The model used in this development is carried out in 5 stages, namely: analysis (analyze), design (design), development (development), implementation (implementation), and evaluation (evaluation). The results achieved in this study are a product in the form of interactive online-based teaching materials that are applied in learning Physics at SMK Class X. The results of the validation assessment of material experts and media experts are in the very valid category with an average value of 89.22 and 84.17. The results of the analysis of subject teacher responses and student responses are in the very practical category with an average value of 95.0 and . 84.48. The results of the evaluation of students showed classical completeness with an average value of 83.60. This shows that interactive online-based teaching materials are suitable for use in online learning for class X physics subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the extent to which problem solving applied at MTs DDI Seppange can overcome the difficulties faced by students in the implementation of distance practicum. To achieve this goal, this research was carried out at the MTs DDI Seppange school, Bone, South Sulawesi with the research sample being class IX students at MTs DDI Seppange in the 2019/2020 school year totaling 24 people and science subject teachers at MTS DDI Seppange. The research steps include: practicum planning, practicum implementation, and practicum result evaluation. While the method of data collection is done by observation, interviews and questionnaires. Furthermore, the data obtained were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results obtained indicate that the solution applied in this study is a distance practicum guide by utilizing easily available tools and materials and the hands-on method is feasible to apply.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada lahan perkebunan kelapa sawit yang berlokasi di Perentih Luweh, Kabupaten Bungo, Jambi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memetakan distribusi vertikal nilai tahan jenis dari material batuan serta mengevaluasi keterdapatan formasi pembawa air tanah untuk keperluan pembuatan sumur produksi dan Eksplorasi geofisika menggunakan metode geolistrik resistivitas konfigurasi dipol-dipol dengan panjang lintasan 200 meter dan spasi elektroda sebesar 20 meter. Data yang didapat kemudian diolah menggunakan perangkat lunak RES2DINV. Variasi nilai resistivitas dari hasil inversi berkisar dari nilai 0 – 12650 Ωm. Nilai resistivitas 0 – 463 Ωm mampu menunjukkan indikasi jenis litologi batuan lempung basah serta air tanah diatas permukaan. Lapisan akuifer yang potensial di daerah ini terdapat pada jarak 120 – 170 meter dengan kedalaman 18.5 – 27.5 meter bmt dengan nilai tahanan jenis 0,5-100 ohm-meter.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan besarnya sikap ilmiah peserta didik yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Jenis penelitian ini adalah true eksperimen dengan desain posttest-only control design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Bantaeng sebanyak 165 orang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas X MIPA 1 sebagai kelas control dan X MIPA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t diperoleh nilai thitung = 2,729 dan ttabel = 2,000 dan taraf signifikan = 0,05, dengan dk 64. Nilai thitung > ttabel, maka H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan sikap ilmiah peserta didik yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek.
