Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between financial literacy and financial inclusion in Indonesia, with fintech as a mediating factor. Financial literacy plays a crucial role in enabling individuals to make informed financial decisions and effectively participate in the formal financial system. Fintech, on the other hand, has emerged as a transformative force, providing innovative financial services to previously underserved populations. This research investigates whether financial literacy positively impacts financial inclusion and whether fintech acts as a mediator in this relationship. The study utilizes a quantitative research design, employing survey data collected from a representative sample of Indonesian residents. The findings of this research will contribute to our understanding of the importance of financial literacy and fintech in promoting financial inclusion and provide insights for policymakers, financial institutions, and fintech providers.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of intellectual capital on the financial performance of manufacturing companies in the consumer goods sector before and during the Covid-19 period being listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2018-2021 period. Sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling method, there were 51 companies that met the criteria, and the number of samples in the study before and during the Covid-19 period was 196 data. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that human capital efficiency before and during Covid-19 had a significant positive effect on financial performance, structural capital efficiency before and during Covid-19 had no effect on financial performance, and capital employed efficiency before Covid-19 had a significant effect. significantly negative and during the Covid-19 period had a significant positive effect on the financial performance of manufacturing companies in the consumer goods sector listed on the IDX for the 2018-2021 period.

Abstract

Knowledge of services for Islamic financial institutions in the city of Pekanbaru, Riau, found the results that the level of public knowledge of services and decisions to choose Islamic financial institutions in the city of Pekanbaru in the good to very good category, this is also supported by the results of the SPSS 23 test that the level of service knowledge on the decision to choose Islamic financial institutions has a positive effect and has increased. This research was conducted in the city of Pekanbaru. The research method used is quantitative research and uses the SPSS 23 test tool. The sample size in the study was 110 customers, where the sample was taken 10 times the number of statement items on the questionnaire submitted to customers with a ratio of 1: 10 (11 x10) (Hair, et al 2014) multivariate data analysis.

Abstract

To determine the effect of job training and communication skills on employee work effectiveness and the role of education level in moderating the relationship between job training and communication skills on employee work effectiveness at the Disperindagkop and UKM Kota Langsa.  Using a qualitative design that was quantified with a saturated sampling method, namely, all PNS of the Department of Industry and Trade and UKM of Langsa City were used as research samples using the PLS-SEM approach.  It Shows that job training has a negative and insignificant effect on employee effectiveness. In contrast, communication skills have a positive and significant effect on employee effectiveness, and the interaction of education level with job training has a positive and insignificant effect on employee effectiveness. The interaction of education level with communication skills has a positive and significant effect on the work effectiveness of employees at the Disperindagkop and SMEs in Langsa City.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of tax, foreign ownership, and company size on transfer pricing in coal mining sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2012-2021 period. Based on the purposive sampling method, 19 companies met the criteria to be sampled in the research from 2012-2021. The number of samples in the study for 10 years with 157 observations. This study uses a robust regression analysis model. Based on the results of data analysis research, it can be concluded that taxes have a positive effect on transfer pricing, while foreign ownership and company size have no effect on transfer pricing in coal mining sub-sector companies listed on IDX for the 2012-2021 period.

Abstract

MSMEs have an essential economic role and contribute significantly to a country's GDP. Over time technology can be used to promote MSMEs by using social media for digital marketing. This study uses De'Sate as its object and a qualitative descriptive approach as its research method. Visits and interviews were carried out with De'Sate owners to obtain the required data. However, it is known that social media hasn’t been utilized optimally. Therefore, this research aims to maximize its digital marketing. Based on the research results, it is known that the business risks are limited employees and less extensive areas. In addition, this study also made changes to the logo, as the font used in the previous logo was less attractive. Next, changes are made to the menu, Instagram feeds and landing page, Google Business, WhatsApp Business catalog and description, auto greeting, quick reply, and away messages on WhatsApp and Facebook Page. A month after the changes, Pak Suryadi was satisfied with the content, and based on the insight of Instagram, performance link, and Google Business, it is known that De'Sate's social media is visited by many users, so it can be concluded that these MSMEs are becoming better known than before.

Abstract

This research is aim to discover the impact of corporate governance and capital structure on profitability. Corporate governance consists of board size, ownership concentration and board’s financial expertise, while capital structure consist of debt to assets ratio (DAR). With these variables, observation was made on infrastructure companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. A purposive sampling was carried out on 11 companies within a research period of 2014-2021, which amounts to 88 observations. The results of the research using panel data regression show that ownership concentration, board’s financial expertise and debt to assets ratio have a significant impact on profitability. On the other hand, board size does not have significant impact on profitability of infrastructure sector companies.

Abstract

This current research examines the influence of spiritual leadership in affective commitment through calling and membership. This research uses a sample of 110 employees either interact or experience direct policies toward the leader with a minimum of 2 years working period at Zainab Mother and Child Hospital in Pekanbaru, Riau Province. Simple Linear Regression is used in this study to measure the contribution toward the dependent variable by using the IBM SPSS version 20. The analysis then shows the results that calling and membership derived from the concept of spiritual leadership have a significant effect on affective commitment. Calling significantly influences affective commitment, and it is similar to membership, which has significant value relates to affective commitment. Recommendations for leaders, employees, and future research are discussed.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the description of non-physical work environment, work productivity, and employee performance at Mr. DIY Sukabumi City, to determine the effect of non-physical work environment on employee performance at Mr. DIY Sukabumi City, and to determine the effect of work productivity on employee performance at Mr. DIY Sukabumi City. The phenomenon that occurs in the performance of employees of Mr. DIY Sukabumi City is lacking in terms of employee work quality, namely the lack of employee ability in work. This problem is caused by one of the dimensions in the nonphysical work environment, namely leader attention and support. In this case, the leader does not give appreciation to the work of employees. Another cause is the ability which is one of the factors in work productivity, namely the lack of employee skills so that it cannot improve work efficiency and effectiveness. In this case, employees do not have sufficient knowledge about the products sold at Mr. DIY so that it affects employees in making sales. The methods used in this research are descriptive research methods and associative research methods with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used by researchers is a saturated sample technique, which is a total of 30 respondents. The data analysis technique used is the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis which includes the coefficient of determination, multiple correlation coefficients and partial tests (t test). The results showed that partially the non-physical work environment affects employee performance. Work productivity affects employee performance. The contribution of the influence of non-physical work environment variables and work productivity on employee performance is 76.3%. While the remaining 23.7% is influenced by other variables outside this regression equation or variables not examined.
