Abstract

In this paper, we consider the boundedness of the operator families in whole space for Navier-Lame model problem in bounded domain of N dimensional Euclidean space (N≥2). To find the boundedness of the operator families, first of all we construct model problem in the form of the resolvent problem by using Laplace transform. Then, using Fourier transform, we get the solution formula of the model problem. In this paper, we use the qualitative methods to construct solution formula of velocity (u). This step is fundamental stage to find the well-posedness of the model problem. As we known that fluid motion can be described in partial differential equation (PDE). Essential point in PDE are finding existence and uniqueness of the model problem. One methods of investigating the well-posedness is R-boundedness of the solution operator families of the model problem. We can find the R-boundedness of the solution operator families not only in whole-space, half-space, bent-half space and in general domain. In this paper we investigate the R-boundedness of the solution operator families only in whole space. By using this R-boundedness, we can find that the multipliers which form of the operator families are bounded with some positive constant.

Abstract

Predator-prey type fishery models Oliv fish is a trans-endemic predator species that inhabits freshwater swamps and brackish water in Merauke, Papua. Maintaining the survival of the Oliv fish species is the main reason for compiling a mathematical model, so that it can be considered by local governments in making ecological policies. Method on model discussed is assembled with the growth of predator-prey populations following the growth of logistics. The response or predatory function corresponding to the behavior of endemic Oliv fish is the Beddington DeAngelis type. The growth of predatory species uses the concept of growth with stage structure, are divided into mature and immature. Research results show there are four equilibrium points of the mathematical model, but only one point becomes the asymptotic stable equilibrium point without harvesting W_4 (x^*,y^*,z^* )=92.823,1311.489,525.957 and equilibrium point with harvesting W_4 (x^*,y^*,z^* )=95.062,92.639,160.466 . Harvesting exploitation efforts are carried out by the community so that the harvesting variables are added with a proportional concept. Simulation of the results of the study shows a stable scheme and harvesting conducted can maintain the number of populations that continue.

Abstract

Mathematics teachers in integrated Islamic schools in Maluku are having problems implementing the integration of Islam into mathematics learning. This study aims to develop a learning model based on Islamic Integrated Information Communication Technology (IICT) to help teachers increase creativity in mathematical problem solving and students' environmental awareness. The main output of this research is an ICT-based active learning model that integrates Islamic sciences into mathematics learning to support the development of creativity skills in solving mathematical problems and students' environmental awareness at an early age. The development of the learning model in this study is a combination of the Plomp (2013), Dick & Carey (2015), and Joyce et al. (2009). Plomp's model was used for the research and model development phase, Dick & Carey for instructional design, and Joyce et al. for the model's contents. The resulting model is an adaptation of the hierarchical and procedural combination of the three developments. The research subjects are mathematics teachers and students. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of the instrument's validity, the IICT model, the practicality, and the effectiveness of the IICT model. Based on expert validation and testing results, the resulting model meets the needs of mathematics teachers and students of SMP/MTs in an integrated Islamic school environment. The results showed that the IICT learning model was qualified to help teachers integrate Islam in mathematics learning, increase creativity in solving math problems, and students' environmental awareness.

Abstract

The research in graph theory has been widened by combining it with ring. In this paper, we introduce the definition of a non-braid graph of a ring.  The non-braid graph of a ring R, denoted by YR, is a simple graph with a vertex set R\B(R), where B(R) is the set of x in R such that  xyx=yxy for all y in R.  Two distinct vertices x and y are adjacent if and only if xyx not equal to yxy.  The method that we use to observe the non-braid graphs of Zn is by seeing the adjacency of the vertices and its braider.  The main objective of this paper is to prove the completeness and connectedness of the non-braid graph of ring Zn. We prove that if n is a prime number, the non-braid graph of Zn is a complete graph. For all n greater than equal to 3,  the non-braid graph of Zn is a connected graph.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a rubric of Higher-Order Thinking Skills Assessment on mathematics learning that is valid, reliable, and practical. The Plomp's developmental method, the Generic model for educational design, was deployed to develop the HOTS assessment rubric. The method consisted of 4 phases, namely; (1) preliminary investigation, (2) design, (3) development, and (4) implementation and evaluation. The rubric was designed and developed to measure students' higher-order thinking skills in mathematics learning. The rubric was developed by integrating HOTS characteristics in mathematics: critical thinking, problem-solving, mathematical understanding, mathematical modeling, proof and reasoning, mathematical representation, and mathematical communication. The HOTS assessment rubric's quality was examined using Plomp's product/prototype quality criteria: (1) validity, (2) reliability, and (3) practicality/usability. The rubric of the HOTS assessment was validated by two validators that are experts on HOTS in mathematics. The practicality/usability of the rubrics was examined by five mathematics teachers from different Junior High schools. The validity and reliability were measured using Gregory's Expert Agreement Index (EAI), while the rubric's practicality was analyzed using practicality product criteria. The research shows that the validity of the rubric of HOTS assessment on mathematics learning is 0.82 (valid), and the reliability is 0.79 (reliable). Meanwhile, the practicality of the rubric is 81.02 (Good). In conclusion, the rubric of the HOTS assessment on mathematics learning is valid, reliable, and practical to use to measure students' higher-order thinking skills in mathematics learning.

Abstract

SARS-CoV-2 is known as Covid-19 has been spread in all world since end of 2019. Indonesia, including South Kalimantan has detected first Covid-19 in March 2020. This pandemic has affected in all entirely live in Indonesia. This makes Covid-19 be the main focus of the government. The government has provided aid and imposed restrictions on activities. These policies require planning that can be a solution. Careful planning requires an overview of the data on active cases that are positive for Covid-19. This overview can be obtained through prediction. In this research, Elman Recurrent Neural Network (ERNN) was used to predict active cases of Covid-19. Architecture of ERNN was used ERNN with 3 input nodes, 2 hidden nodes, and 2 context nodes. The data used is 277 data, which is then divided into training data and testing data, respectively 90%-10%, 80%-20%, and 70%-30%. ERNN with a learning rate of 0.1 until 0.9 is applied to data on active cases of Covid-19, then Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) is calculated to find out performance of model generated by ERNN. The results showed that all of MAPE were below 10% with the smallest MAPE as 3.21% for scenario 90:10 and learning rate 0.6. MAPE value which is less than 10% indicates that ERNN has very good predictive ability.
