Abstract

The research aims to know the factors that influence optimizing vocational high school facilities and infrastructure. By optimizing vocational high school facilities and infrastructure, it becomes strategic enough to contributeto the administrative performance, quality of learning, and quality of graduates. The research used a quantitative approach using questioners as the instruments of data collection with several 124 respondents.The analysis technique used a multiple regression test with one dependent variable and four independent variables. The results of the research conclude that the factors of student need (ρ = 0,016) and motivation (ρ = 0,024) significantly influence while the factor of rule (ρ = 0,169) and partnership (ρ = 0,108) do not significantly influence the optimization of facilities and infrastructures in Vocational High School.The four factors have a significant effect on ρ = 0,000.

Abstract

The research entitled improving the speaking skills of class X students at SMK Negeri 1 Bungan Mayang, east OKU regency in online learning (online) based on e learning with digital storytelling media which aims to describe the application of storytelling on aspects og speaking skills in each cycle of learning Indonesia for class X students of SMK Negeri 1 east OKU Bunga Mayang. This research is an action research to improve student learning outcomes and improve the learning process in the classroom. The results showed learning outcomes in terms of knowledge, ini increasing learning in each learning cycle there was an increase in students mastery and absorption, namely completeness in cycle I 70.58%, absorption capacity 52.35%, and cycle II 70.58%, completeness level 88.23%, and absorption rate of 76.76%. Similarly the skill aspect increased in the first cycle 76.47% completeness and 55.88% absorption. In the second cycle it increased again 88.23% completeness and 77.35% absorption. Then, learning outcomes increased during learning in class X TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Bunga Mayang OKU Timur, students speaking skills developed from cycle I to cycle II as well as skills in cycle I reached 76.47% and increased to 77.35%.

Abstract

This research was aimed to improve students’ writing skill through mind mapping at the seventh grade of MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. The subject of this research consisted of thirty which consisted of 11 males and 19 females. This research was conducted by using classroom action research. Kemmis and Taggart stated about the model of action research it consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four steps; planning, action, observing, and reflecting. The writer did pre-cycle before going to cycle 1, the pre-cycle was conducted to know the students’ writing skill and the student difficulties in writing. In this research, the writer collaborated with the English teacher at the seventh (VII A) grade of MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung to carry out the data of the students. At this research the writer was focused to improve the students’ learning activities and the students’ writing skill. The students’ improvement in learning activities it could be seen from the average score of students’ learning activities of cycle 1 were 7.16 with the criteria quite active, while in the second cycle that 7.87 was active. So, during the cycle 1 and the cycle 2 there were improvement of students’ learning activity, which got 0.71 point. Meanwhile in the students’ writing ability, the improvement could be seen from the average score of pre-cycle was 64.03 there were 17 students that passed the Minimum Mastery Criterion. Then the average score of first cycle was 69.03, there were 20 students or 66.66% who passed the Minimum Mastery Criterion and the average score of second cycle was 78.36 there were 25 students who passed the Minimum Mastery Criterion or 83.33%. Based on the result of analyzing the data it could be concluded that the Classroom Action Research through mind mapping can improve students’ learning activities and the students’ writing ability.

Abstract

The research was conducted at SD Negeri 2 Labuhan Ratu, Bandar Lampung in 2022/2023 academic year. In this research the writer used experimental method. It consist of two classes, they were experimental class and control class. The population of this research was the students at the first semester of the fifth grade at SD Negeri 2 Labuhan Ratu, Bandar Lampung. The population  consisted of  66 students from three classes. The sample of this research was VA and VB. The writer used cluster random sampling technique. In the data collecting technique the writer used test, kind of the test is multiple choice. To prove the hypothesis that there is positive and significant effect of Complete the Story Game towards students’ vocabulary mastery, the writer used ttest  formula. The result of this research showed that the average score of students’ vocabulary mastery in experimental class (71.3) was higher than the students’ vocabulary mastery in control class (50.17). Then, the writer got the result of ttest was higher than ttable with significance level 5% (7.57>1.68). It means that the writer proved the hypothesis that there was significant effect of Complete the Story Game towards students’ vocabulary mastery of the fifth grade at SDN 2 Labuhan Ratu, Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing, explaining and analyzing the application of the learning method of field observation (outdoor study) in Islamic Accounting courses aimed at Economics Education students at STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung by directly observing the operational processes of Islamic banking and Islamic financial institutions in the city. Bandar Lampung. The research sample was all 4th semester Economics Education students who took the Islamic Accounting course with purposive sampling. The research data is in the form of quantitative and qualitative data. The results of the study show that students' understanding process skills have increased with the observation method that goes directly to the field observing the operational processes of Islamic financial institutions. Student learning activities have increased because with the observation method students feel they can add knowledge and direct experience in the field. And many students gave positive responses to the application of the observation method. Thus, the application of the observation method has a significant effect in improving the process of understanding students and student learning activities on the subject matter of Islamic Accounting.

Abstract

This study aims to re-analyze the use of learning media to improve science learning outcomes in elementary schools. Meta analysis is used in this research method. In this research begins by looking for a variety of relevant topics in order to facilitate the author in collecting data. The data was obtained by searching online journals through Google Scholar with the keywords SD Learning Media, improving learning outcomes, elementary school science. From the search conducted, 14 articles were obtained, but only the 6 articles that were relevant to use. The data obtained was reprocessed using the quantitative method. Based on the results of the analysis of the use of media in learning, it greatly influences the learning outcomes of students with the lowest result being 43% and the highest being 91%. The use of media in learning greatly influences the learning outcomes of students in learning science. In addition, students also have different experiences in the learning process using media. This can also improve students' ability to understand subject matter easily through the use of media in the learning process.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low critical thinking skills of students in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying a realistic mathematical approach to the critical thinking skills of Class X Even Semester students at SMK Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung in the 2022/2023 academic year. This study used an experimental method with the population in this study, namely all students in class X even semester of SMK Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung, while two classes were taken, namely class X KK 1 which used a realistic mathematics approach, and class X KK 2 which used a conventional approach. Samples were taken using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. To find out students' critical thinking skills, a test was carried out in the form of an essay of five questions which had previously been tested for validity and reliability. Hypothesis testing in this study uses the t-hit formula. From the results of testing the hypothesis using the t-hit statistical formula, the value of t = 1,88 is obtained. From the t distribution table at a significant level of 5% it is known that t = 1,67 then  which means that the average critical thinking ability of students who use a realistic mathematics approach is higher than the average critical thinking ability of students who use a conventional approach.

Abstract

The problems in this study were based on the not optimal learning situation that was implemented and resulted in low social studies learning outcomes for students. This study aims to determine the effect of applying The Power Of Two learning model on social studies learning outcomes for students in class VIII even semester at SMP Negeri 4 Terbanggi Besar Central Lampung in the 2022/2023 academic year. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of research is experimental research. The population in this study were all students in class VIII consisting of 7 classes with a total of 202. The research sample was selected using a purposive random sampling technique by selecting class VIII F as the experimental class and class VIII G as the control class, where the experimental class used The Power model. Of Two and control classes use conventional learning methods. Data collection technique is done by testing technique. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using the t-test. From the research results, it can be concluded that the average social studies learning outcomes of students in the experimental class was 74.23 and the average learning outcomes in the control class were 69.45. From the calculation, we get thit = 4.01 by taking the 5% tdaf level = 1.69. Because thit > tdaf, it can be concluded that Ho was rejected, so the learning model of The Power of Two had an effect on social studies learning outcomes for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Terbanggi Besar, Central Lampung.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to describe the increased activity and social studies learning outcomes using a fun approach to Class IX students Junior High School of Baradatu 1, Way Kanan Regency, 2022/2023 Academic Year. The research method uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) through 4 stages of research namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Activities for 3 cycles. The research subjects totaled 30 students. The research instruments used observation sheets of learning activities and test sheets. Data analysis uses simple percentages. The results of the study showed an increase in social studies activities and learning outcomes in class IX students of Junior High School of Baradatu 1 in the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

The aim research to implementation learning and result of kimia by method Problem Based Learning of students XII IPA 2 SMA Kristen 1 Metro. The method that research tes-non tes, observation, document, and interview. Research result of Kimia learn problem based learning. Pracycle, cycle I,cycle II,and cycle III to increase. Result pracycle flat 55,29%, cycle I 70%, cycle II 79,70%, and cycle III 78,64%. The finished learning pracycle 2,94, cycle I to 38,23%, cycle II 64,70%, and cycle III 100%.
