Abstract

This research aims to examine spiritual needs by getting an idea of the level of importance of spiritual needs based on the seven dimensions developed by Galek. This research method uses descriptive research methods. The results of research on the aspects of divinity (3.63), morality and ethics (3.43), love/sense of belonging (3.42), positive thinking/gratitude/hope (3.40), meaning and purpose (3.39) ), resolution/death (3.26) and on the appreciation dimension of beauty (2.98). In conclusion, in advanced cancer patients, the highest spiritual need is in the divine aspect, and the lowest is in the dimension of appreciation of beauty. Abstract

This study explores the perceptions of the head of the room about the recruitment results of competency-based nurses at Santa Elisabeth Hospital Medan. The research method used is qualitative research with a phenomenological design. The results of this study obtained six main themes, namely: 1) the purpose of recruitment, 2) improvements made in recruitment, 3) obstacles to recruitment implementation, 4) benefits of recruitment, 5) supporting factors for the performance of recruitment, 6) expectations of recruitment results. In conclusion, the head of the room's perception of competency-based nurse recruitment results can help the recruitment team, who is also a part of hospital management, obtain professional and competent nurses according to service needs. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of ANNISA development on nurses' knowledge of nursing documentation. This method uses quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design and a time series approach non-equivocal control group design. The study results were there were differences in the measurement of nurses' knowledge about nursing documentation in the intervention group before the intervention by measuring posttest-1 with p-value = 0.000. There were differences in nurses' experience about nursing documentation between the intervention group and the control group in the posttest-1 and posttest-2 measurements after the intervention using ANNISA with p-value = 0,000. There was an increase in differences in nurses' knowledge about nursing documentation from the pretest, posttest-1, and posttest-2 measurements after using ANNISA in the intervention group and the control group with p-value = 0.000. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the development of horticultural therapy to improve the social skills of mental disorders patients in the community. This research's method is quantitative research with a pre-posttest queasy experimental research design with a control group. The study results the social skills score before and after treatment in the intervention group given horticultural therapy was marked with a p-value of 0.01 (<0.05). In conclusion, there is a significant difference in the mean difference in social skills scores between the intervention and control groups. Abstract

This study aims to identify the effect of palliative care on breast cancer patients' quality of life. The method used in this study is a literature review. The results showed that palliative care affected breast cancer patients. In conclusion, comprehensive palliative care from various aspects of the patient's life plays a significant role in achieving the maximum quality of life in breast cancer patients and preparing for a dignified death. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the life experiences of street children in adolescence. This research method is qualitative research using a descriptive phenomenology approach to tell street children aged adolescents' life experiences. This study resulted in 4 research themes, namely factors causing street children, family and community responses to street children, life descriptions of being street children, and the aspirations of street children. Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between the supervision of the head of the room with the culture of patient safety in the Nganjuk Hospital inpatient installation. This research method is a quantitative analytic study with a cross-sectional study design. The results showed that most respondents consisted of women (74.4%) aged between 26 - 35 years (52.6%) who had a D3 / equivalent education (71.8%). The results of the bivariate analysis showed that the p-value was 0.000 <0.05. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between the supervision of the head of the room with the culture of patient safety in the Inpatient Installation of Nganjuk Hospital. Abstract

This study aims to determine complementary therapies that can be applied to managing anxiety and depression in the elderly in the community. Methods for searching articles through English databases: EBSCO host, Scopus, Pro-Quest, Wiley Online Library, Sage Publications, Science direct, and Springer Link in the last ten years. The search results obtained 282 articles, and six reports identified that met the inclusion criteria. Systematic review analysts use the PRISMA diagram. There are six complementary therapies used: aromatherapy, reiki, laughter therapy, acupressure, religion, aromatherapy, music, and reiki. In conclusion, all of these complementary therapies are effective in the management of anxiety or depression. The complementary treatment suggested in the direction of pressure is aromatherapy, while depression is religious therapy. Keywords: Depression, Anxiety, Parents, Complementary Therapy

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the knowledge and attitudes of healthy snack children through snake and ladder games in Lubuk Pakam sub-district. This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design of two groups of the pretest-posttest system. The results showed that by using the statistical test, the value of p = 0.000 <0.05. Based on the pretest and post-test results on 54 students, the average change in knowledge before the intervention was 12.8, and the closest intervention was 15.5. The shift in attitude before the intervention was 10.2, and after the intervention was 12.8. In conclusion, there is the influence of snake and ladder game counseling on healthy snack foods on elementary school children's knowledge and attitudes. Abstract

This study shortens the laboratory service time by shortening the centrifuge time and obtaining serum as an examination material. The research method used was pre-experimental research. The results showed that the average LDH in the blood group centrifuged 3000 rpm 5 minutes was 309.9 U / L and 306.4 U / L centrifuged 4400 rpm 3 minutes in the blood group. In conclusion, there is no difference in serum LDH levels from blood centrifuged at 3000 rpm for 5 minutes and 4400 rpm for 3 minutes. Keywords: Centrifugation, Lactate Dehydrogenase, TAT
