Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the remuneration system on nurses' work motivation and nurse performance in East Java Private Hospitals. The research method used is an observational method with a cross-sectional design. The result of this research is that the remuneration system on motivation shows a significance value of 0.022 (a = 0.05). The reason for performance offers a significance value of 0.001 (a=0.05). Meanwhile, the remuneration system has no significant effect on performance, with a significance value of 0.487. In conclusion, the remuneration system has a significant influence on motivation. Motivation has a significant impact on the performance of nurses in East Java Private Hospitals so that the remuneration system can affect motivation. Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between these factors and sleep disorders and determine the factors that most influence the occurrence of sleep disorders in ALL children undergoing chemotherapy. The design of this research is descriptive-analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The results showed a statistically significant relationship between the type of ALL, chemotherapy regimen, hemoglobin levels, fatigue, pain, and anxiety with a value of (p<0.005). In conclusion, pain and anxiety factors are the most influencing sleep disorders. Cancer and treatment, physiological, and psychological factors are related to the occurrence of sleep disturbances that will affect the quality of life of the next child. Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that cause the behavior of using nutrition services by pregnant women with the risk of KEK at the Nutrition Clinic of the Kasemen Health Center, Serang City. This research method uses cross-sectional research. The results showed that 66.2% of pregnant women at risk of KESK did not take advantage of nutrition services at the nutrition clinic. The behavior of the utilization of nutrition services in pregnant women with the risk of SEZ was most dominantly influenced by support (OR=6.31; 95% CI: 2.633-15.138). In addition, this behavior is influenced by other factors, namely needs (OR = 5.22; 95% CI: 1.608-16.926) and family income (OR = 2.48; 95% CI: 1.061-5.814). In conclusion, pregnant women at risk of CED who do not receive support from their husbands are at risk of 6.31 times more at risk of not using nutrition services than pregnant women with the risk of CED who receive their husband's support. Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence patient safety culture on patient safety incidents in Cirebon City and Regency public hospitals which are seen from the characteristics of nurses and patient safety culture. The type of research used is non-experimental quantitative using a cross-sectional research design. The results showed that the characteristics of nurses that influenced patient safety incidents were education with an OR of 5,613 and gender with an OR of 4,478. In conclusion, education, gender, management support, cooperation between units as well as handsoff and transition are factors that influence patient safety incidents. Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability of toilet training in mentally retarded children through video modeling. The research method used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The results showed the effect of video media modeling on the toilet training ability of mentally retarded children, with an average increase of 1.59. The Wilcoxon test shows a p-value of 0.001. In conclusion, video media modeling has an effect on the toilet training ability of mentally retarded children. Keywords: Children with Mental Retardation, Video Media Modeling, Toilet Training

Abstract

This study explores parents' perceptions of the impact of gadgets on children's development after preschool at PAUD IT Baitul Izzah Bengkulu City. The research method is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The results of the study found six interrelated themes about the impact of gadgets on children's development. The first theme is meaning for parents about giving gadgets to children; the second theme shows the content opened by children on gadgets. The third theme is the duration of using gadgets for children aged 4-6. years, the fourth theme is control over the use of devices in children, and the fifth theme is the impact of machines on child development. In conclusion, the use of gadgets in children has a positive and negative effect on child development. Keywords: Children, Covid-19, Device, Parents, Pandemic, Development

Abstract

This study aims to explore the experience of mothers caring for schizophrenic adolescents after hospitalization. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive phenomenological approach. The results of this study indicate that the participants who took part in this study consisted of 7 mothers who cared for adolescent children with schizophrenia, with an age range of 39 years to 57 years. Most of the participants were housewives, and the education level of the participants was from elementary to high school. All participants had schizophrenic teenagers at home. The participant's residence is in the Bandung area. In conclusion, this study resulted in six themes, namely psychological responses during caring for children, support received by mothers to continue treatment of children, disturbances in daily activities, treatment efforts made by mothers to heal their children, coping strategies while caring for children, stigma felt by mothers during treatment. Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the physiological adaptation of newborns through expected delivery with lotus birth and without lotus birth at Kandai Public Health Center, Kendari City. The method used is quantitative research using a comparative study with a cross-sectional approach. The results showed differences in physiological adaptation (heart rate, respiratory rate, thermoregulated frequency, or body temperature) of newborns through expected delivery with lotus birth and without lotus birth. Respondent statistical data obtained from each physiological system of newborns showed a p-value of 0.013. In conclusion, there are differences in the physiological adaptation of newborns through expected delivery with lotus birth and without lotus birth at the Kandai Public Health Center, Kendari City. Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between family support and the quality of life of DM patients. This type of research is a quantitative research using a cross-sectional design. The results showed that most DM patients (64.3%) had a good quality of life. There is a statistically significant relationship between the quality of life of patients with emotional support (p-Value = 0.0002), instrumental (p-Value = 0.0005), and informational (p-Value = 0.000), but the relationship is not significant with support award (p-Value = 0.52). In conclusion, factors related to the quality of life of DM patients are emotional, instrumental, and informational support. Keywords: Diabetes Mellitus, Family Support, Quality of Life

Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of parental anxiety when children interact socially during the Covid-19 pandemic in the work area of the Beringin Raya Public Health Center, Bengkulu City. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The results showed that the description of the level of anxiety of parents when their children interacted socially during the COVID-19 pandemic from 45 respondents, the category of not being anxious was five respondents (11.1%), mild anxiety was 37 respondents (82.2%), and moderate anxiety was three respondents. (6.7%). In conclusion, the description of the level of anxiety of parents when children interact socially during the COVID-19 pandemic in the work area of the Beringin Raya Public Health Center in Bengkulu City is mainly classified as mild anxiety.
