Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the role of health workers and families in teenage pregnancy in the Kepahiang District in 2021. This study is a quantitative descriptive study using a cross-sectional design. The results of the univariate analysis showed that most of the respondents were aged 30-34 years (25.8%), there were 53 people (60.2%) who experienced pregnancy in their teens (<19 years), most of the respondents were 53 people (60.2 %) had sufficient family roles, as many as 66 people (75%) stated that the part of health workers was included in the excellent category. Respondents who indicated that they had a family role in the superb category out of 53 mainly were 39 people or 73.6% who experienced teenage pregnancy, respondents who stated the position of health workers in the excellent category were almost all of the respondents or as many as 15 people (78.9%) who experienced teenage pregnancy. Data analysis with a chi-square statistical test was obtained (p-value) (0.125). The variable of the role of parents and the incidence of pregnancy in adolescents with p-value = 0.000 In conclusion, there is no relationship between the part of health workers and the incidence of teenage pregnancy in Kepahiang Regency in 2021. There is a relationship between the role of the respondent's parents with the incidence of adolescent pregnancy, and there is no relationship between the part of health workers with the incidence of teenage pregnancy. Abstract

This study aims to determine the local government's policy of Kepahiang Regency to prevent the practice of early marriage during the COVID-19 pandemic. The type of research used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. This research method uses in-depth analysis techniques. The results show that the incidence of early marriage in Kepahiang Regency in 2019–September 2021 tends to increase from 15.9% to 44.9%, an increase of 29%. Adolescents who marry under the age of 19 years are mostly, or as much as 73.5% are adolescents of the female gender. In conclusion, several policies have been set by the local government of Kepahiang Regency, including the implementation of a Child-Friendly Regency, with a target focus on efforts to protect children and women, one of which is the prevention of child marriage, the use of Android-based information technology in efforts to protect children and women through reporting via smartphones. Efforts to provide health services to adolescents in the form of counseling services and various services related to adolescent health, efforts to increase community participation and empowerment in improving teenage health, policies to increase adolescent knowledge, especially school-age adolescents, about efforts to prevent early marriage. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between consuming blood-added tablets and anemia in pregnant women in the Kepahiang District. The research design used in this study was quantitative analytic with a cross-sectional design. The results showed that most or as many as 56 people (55.4%) had a positive attitude towards the incidence of anemia. As many as 61 people (60.4%) had irregularly consumed blood-added tablets. Almost entirely or as many as 82 people (81.2%) experienced anemia, regular consumption of blood-added pills with anemia showed that 61 respondents who did not regularly consume blood tablets in total or as many as 60 respondents (98.4%) experienced anemia. In conclusion, there is a relationship between consuming blood-added pills with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. Keywords: Anemia, Pregnant Women, Blood Add Tablets

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of antenatal care service policies for pregnant women during the Covid-19 pandemic in Kepahiang Regency using Edward III's theory. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive design. The results showed that communication between health workers and pregnant women, husbands, or families in implementing antenatal care activities for pregnant women was relatively smooth. Human resources from health workers implementing antenatal care activities were available according to needs, disposition, and bureaucratic structure in service implementation. During the Covid-19 pandemic in Kepahiang Regency, antenatal care for pregnant women went well. In conclusion, in general, the performance of antenatal care service policies for pregnant women during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Kepahiang Regency went well.
