Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the pencil root circuit game on the learning outcomes of the basic movements of Pencak silat. This study used an experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted by practicing the movements of the easel, step patterns, punches, and kicks in martial arts material. The subject or sample of this study was grade V elementary school students with a total of 24 students. Data collection techniques use purposive samples and are analyzed using quantitative descriptions and difference tests. The results of this study show that using pencil root circuit games can improve students' abilities in terms of stance, step patterns, punches, and kicks on martial arts material. There is an increase because the game can foster students' willingness to do something to be more than before. Conclusion, there is an influence of pencil root circuit games on the learning outcomes of basic pencak silat movements of grade V elementary school students. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dimensions of life skills in coaching badminton in various badminton clubs. The descriptive method was used in this study involving 49 badminton athletes at clubs in the city of Bandung, with the age range of participants between 10-13 years. The instrument used in this study uses the Life Skills Scale for Sport (LSSS) instrument model developed by Cronin & Ellen which measures eight dimensions of life skills with 47 rating scale items. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics and regression using SPSS software version 29.0. The results of the analysis show that the level of athlete's life skills is in two categories, namely medium and high. Whereas in the regression analysis there is influence because it has a p value of 0.001, it also has a correlation/relationship between the eight dimensions and the overall total. This shows that these eight dimensions have an influence and relationship with the total. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the level of life skills that exist in athletes in the Bandung City environment are in two categories, namely medium and high, with the highest average being in the dimensions of social skills, 2) there is influence and also a high significant correlation/relationship in total with eight dimensions of life skills. Abstract

This research aims to increase students' motivation by implementing learning innovations through a game approach in Physical Education Learning. This is expected to make lessons more attractive and students more active and enjoyable. This research uses the integrative Systematic Literature method, where researchers review and identify journals in a structured manner in each process by following predetermined steps. From various articles, the researcher chose ten articles that were closely related to the keywords used. After reviewing ten articles, it was found that the game approach in sports learning can motivate students to participate in knowledge. In conclusion, providing games in sports learning is a form of teacher innovation in increasing motivation and learning achievement. Keywords: Games, motivation to learn

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how much influence the drill method had on the results of extracurricular forehand overhead lob badminton strokes for students at SMPN 3 Babakancikao. This study uses a quantitative approach with experimental research methods. This research was conducted at SMPN 3 Babakancikao from 10 May to 5 June 2023. The study population consisted of 20 extracurricular students at SMPN 3 Babakancikao. The population in the study was taken using a saturated sampling technique, a sample of 20 people consisting of 12 boys and 8 girls. The data collection technique used the pretest and posttest techniques, while the data analysis used the t test. Based on the output results using SPSS 25, the average value before being given the drill method was 58.00, after being given treatment with the drill method it was 80.90. In conclusion, learning the badminton forehand overhead lob technique using the drill training method can improve the results of extracurricular students' badminton forehand overhead lob skill tests. Abstract

This research revealed several obstacles in coaching Squash sports in Riau Province. It was found that inadequate facilities and infrastructure, lack of experienced coaches, lack of socialization about Squash , low interest of athletes to train, and limited funds were the main obstacles. The study aims to analyze the Squash coaching process, identify the challenges faced, and find solutions for further development. Qualitative research methods are used using SWOT analysis. The study population involved 15 male athletes and 11 female athletes, while a sample of 10 people was randomly selected, consisting of Riau Province Squash administrators, coaches, and athletes. The results showed the importance of improving management and adequate sports facilities to support Squash coaching. Looking for a national or international licensed coach is a solution to improve the quality of coaching. Broader socialization about the sport of Squash in the community, including villages, is expected to attract more participants. In addition, finding sponsors and other funding sources will help overcome the problem of lack of funds. In conclusion, coaching Squash in Riau Province has management, facilities, and athlete achievements advantages. Keywords: SWOT and Squash Coaching

Abstract

This study aims to see the influence of two treatment groups, namely Drills for Game-Like Situation and Drills Under Simplified Conditions, on volleyball smash ability. The results showed that Drills for Game-Like Situation had a significant influence on smash ability. There was an increase in average from pretest 1.8 to posttest 2.4 with a difference of 0.6. Drills for Game-Like Situations and Drills Under Simplified Conditions also significantly affect the smash ability of athletes. The average score of the pretest was 1.8, and the posttest became 2.2 with a difference of 0.4. The increase in smash ability was higher in the drills for gamelike situation training group, which was 33.3%, while Drills Under Simplified Conditions increased by 21.3%. Thus, it can be concluded that Drills for Game-Like Situation is more effective in improving smash ability compared to Drills Under Simplified Conditions. This study provides evidence that Drills for Game-Like Situation exercises can be a better alternative to improve the smash ability of volleyball athletes. In conclusion, the effect of two treatment groups, namely Drills for Game-Like Situation and Drills Under Simplified Conditions, on the volleyball smash ability. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see the impact of three factors, namely the Project Based Learning Model, the Problem Based Learning Learning Model, and the Level of Confidence (Self Confidence), on learning achievement in the discipline of Short Distance Running Athletics among students of State Junior High School 23 Pekanbaru. The method used in this study is a quasi-experiment with a quantitative approach. This study involved two sample groups, namely the experimental group and the control group, consisting of a total of 40 students. Data is collected through observations, tests, and documentation. The results of the data analysis showed several important findings as follows: First, the PjBL Learning Model has a significant impact on the learning achievement of Short Distance Running Athletics in students. Second, the PBL Model also has a significant impact on the learning achievement of Short Distance Running Athletics in students. Third, Self Confidence also has a significant influence on the learning achievement of Short Distance Running Athletics in students. Conclusion, the PjBL Learning Model, PBL Learning Model, and Self Confidence together contribute significantly to the achievement of Short Distance Running Athletics learning in students. Abstract

This research aims to explain how knowledge-sharing activities occur at Halo Kids Indonesia, identify its impact on children's physical literacy, and identify the knowledge sharing process. The qualitative method is used with a case study approach, involving data collection through relevant informants, and the data is presented in narrative form. This research shows that Halo Kids Indonesia applies the concept of sharing knowledge effectively through the stages of socialization, externalization, combination, and internalization. Activities such as sharing parenting, visual documentation, and training play an essential role in children's physical literacy development. In conclusion, Halo Kids Indonesia successfully applies knowledge sharing to increase physical literacy in early childhood. Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of Physical Education and Orchestra Learning at State Elementary School 85 Lubuklingggau; the implementation of physical education learning consists of several problems, namely the factors of Physical Education Teachers, Facilities and Infrastructure, and Student Motivation at School. The method used in this research is descriptive research. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique, namely representatives of school principals and physical education teachers from each of the 85 Lubuklinggau State Elementary Schools used as research samples. Data collection techniques using observation and distributing questionnaires to students at State Elementary School 85 Lubuklinggau who were selected as research samples. The research results show that motivation is reasonable. This is caused by several causes, one of which is the high enthusiasm and motivation of physical education teachers in providing physical education learning materials in class. Student motivation is also an essential factor in influencing the implementation of physical education learning in schools. Apart from that, the conclusion of the discussion above regarding modifications is reasonable. The facilities and infrastructure assessed by the class teacher as modified in Physical Education, from the assessment results, are reasonable. This is because the facilities and infrastructure at SDN 85 Lubuklinggau can still be used. In conclusion, implementing physical education learning in terms of motivation, modification, and infrastructure is in the excellent category. Keywords: motivation, physical education, infrastructure

Abstract

This research is preliminary research to develop a tool that measures the agility ability of an athlete or student automatically and modern using a sensor system and application-based. This study is a survey research using unstructured questionnaires. Five statements have been prepared to find out how much the a need for the development of agility test instruments. The survey results show that most respondents have difficulty in using traditional measurement instruments, only a small percentage of respondents report using these instruments. All respondents involved in this survey agreed that agility test instruments can be developed and modernized from manual measuring instruments to fully automated measuring instruments. The results of this research will be used as a consideration for the development of an effective and easy-to-use scientific agility test instrument.
