Abstract

This research was arranged to analyze the Larungan traditional ceremony conducted by the community in Bendar Village, Juwana District, Pati Regency. The research method uses descriptive analytic method. Larungan is a traditional ceremony performed by fishermen as a form of gratitude to God Almighty. The Larungan traditional ceremony is held every year on Shawwal on the seventh day, but if on the seventh day coincides with the Sunday Wage, the implementation is carried out on the day before or after the Sunday Wage, because on Sunday the Wage had an accident during the Larungan traditional ceremony. So, the Larungan traditional ceremony is a tradition carried out by the coastal community in Bendar Village, Juwana District, Pati Regency, the majority of whom work as fishermen as a form of gratitude to God Almighty for the fortune that has been given in the form of abundance fish catched from the sea.

Abstract

The supply of fresh dairy milk in the country (SSDN) has not been able to meet the needs of domestic dairy milk consumption so that the fulfillment of dairy milk consumption needs is also done byimporting dairy milk. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence milk imports in Indonesia.The research method uses quantitative analysis techniques, namely multiple linear regression. This research was conducted in Indonesia using secondary data from 2006-2016 obtained at the Central Statistics Agency and the Ministry of Agriculture and other literature related to research. Research variables include exchange rates, GDP per capita, milk exports, and milk production. The results showed that variables GDP per capita, milk exports, and milk production have positive influence. Meanwhile, exchange rate has negative influence for milk imports.

Abstract

research aimed to analyze work ethos and Sasak Islam religious behavior of agrarian community in Lingsar Village of Lombok Barat, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Sasak Islam religious behavior and work ethos of agrarian community in farming practice was the unit of analysis in this qualitative research with case study approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interview, and documentation. To validate data, multisource evidence was used and analyzed with Weber’s social action theory. The result of research showed that religious behavior of Lingsar village’s farmer community included nerimaq (grateful), cukup (feeling enough), and ikhlas (sincere). Work ethos could be seen in social action such as working hard and diligently and farming processing land well. There was a relationship between farmer’s work ethos and Sasak Islam religious understanding of agrarian community in Lingsar Village.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analysis the effect of using production factors, farmer income and feasibility on Tuberoses flower (Polianthes tuberosa L.) crops. Research used census method and the number of sampel are 30 respondents, in Semarang and Magelang regency. Analysis of research used  Cobb-douglas model of production function,  linier regression function and one sample t test.The results of the   analysis of production function showed the amount of seeds, organic fertilizer,  NPK fertilizer, labor and the water have significant effect. The results of the analysis of the income function that have significant effect were the price and the amount of production,  this means, if increase in prices or increase in production, the farmer's income will increase. One samplet t-test results showed tuberose flowers farming was profitable and feasible to be developed

Abstract

Unpredictable changes in supply and demand may cause the variation of price behavior. Crude Palm Oil (CPO) as Indonesian main export commodity has the highest risk of uncertainty price which is influenced by world price while it tends to fluctuate and become volatile in the given period. In order to increase CPO production, government has implemented biodiesel mandatory regulation namely B30 in 2019. It means that the use of diesel fuel with 20 percent of biofuel content. Besides that, government also applies zero tax policy to stimulate CPO producers in doing export. The objectives of this research are to analyze price volatility and its effect on export volume in the long term. Daily Indonesian CPO price since January 2010 to December 2017 was analyzed by Historical Volatility Method and Cointegration Test. This research shows that both domestic and world price of CPO tends to be high while domestic price is less volatile than world price. Furthermore, CPO’s price and export volume are cointegrated and have negative relation in the long term.

Abstract

The role of supply chain management strategies in the organic vegetable business is to createcompetitiveness by prioritizing fulfillment of consumer demand appropriately. One of the companiesengaged in the organic vegetable business in Malang City is Abang Sayur Organik (ABS) SMEs. Theorganic broccoli commodity is a superior product from ABS SMEs which continues supplied to retailand manufacture. Common problems that occur in the organic broccoli supply chain are fluctuations indemand and mismatches in the quality of products shipped. Measurement of supply chain performanceis needed to answer the existing problem. This study aims to describe the condition of supply chainmanagement and measure the performance of organic vegetable supply chains in ABS SMEs. The dataused are primary data obtained from questionnaires distributed to all ABS organic broccoli supply chainactors. Supply chain performance measurement uses the benchmark score method of Supply ChainOperation Reference (SCOR) performance indicators that include reliability, responsiveness, agility,costs, and assets with a value classification of parity, advantage, and superior. The results showed thatsupply chain actors involved were suppliers, distributors, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.Measurement of Perfect Order Fulfillment performance indicators at the position of advantage at the supplier level and superior at the distributor level to retail. The value of Order Fulfillment Cycle Timeand flexibility are superior at each actor, while the value of inventory days of supply at the supplier,distributor and manufacturing level is at a position of advantage but at the retail level at a superiorposition. Cash To Cash Cycle Time value is superior position in each supply chain actor, but for theTotal Supply Chain Management Cost value in each organic broccoli supply chain actor is in a gap-parity position

Abstract

Not all customers can be served by the company. Each company needs to identify marketsegments that can be served effectively by differentiating the main market segments, aiming at one ortwo segments and developing products so that there are always new breakthroughs. A company in orderto excel in competition must be able to recognize its market segment, target and product position againstits competitors. This research aims to determine the segmenting, targeting, and positioning of MangsiCoffee powder. The sampling technique used is the nonprobability sampling method that is accidentialsampling. Segmenting and targeting is done by using crosstab analysis, while positioning uses multidimensional scaling analysis and correspondence analysis. Mangsi Coffee powder market segmentationbased on the characteristics of consumers are men who are adults, graduated from tertiary education (last education), work as employees with monthly expenditure above the Denpasar City UMK in 2019(Rp. 2,553,000.00). Mangsi Coffee consumers based on psychographic segmentation tend to choosequality products and make coffee consumption habits a trend and lifestyle while Mangsi Coffeeconsumers based on segmentation of consumer behavior tend to choose products according to theirbenefits. Positioning using multi-dimensional scaling analysis (MDS) shows that, Mangsi Coffeepowder is not in one quadrant with all three competing products. The map shows that all four productsare in different quadrants. CA analysis (correspondence analysis), shows the superiority of MangsiCoffee powder products when compared with competitors' products is an attribute in terms ofpackaging. The importance of companies to pay attention to segmenting, targeting, and positioning tobe able to focus on achieving company goals and survive in fierce market competition. The strategy toincrease sales is carried out by adjusting the results of studies in research and the conditions of theMangsi Coffee company so that it can take policies that are in accordance with company goals.

Abstract

Farmers satisfaction in joining Rice Farming Insurance illustrates the program performance. The satisfaction of Rice Farming Insurance program can be measured through some attributes of satisfaction. Satisfaction attributes are assessed ranging from dissatisfied to very satisfied. This research aimed to determine the level of farmer satisfaction on Rice Farming Insurance program. This research was conducted in January – February 2020. Slovin method used for sampling method with total sample of 100 respondent, consist of 53 respondents were taken in Dukuhwaru District and 47 respondents were taken in Warureja District using proportional allocation. Locations in this research was choose with purposive method. Importance Performance Analysis and Customer Satisfaction Index were used to analyze. The result showed that Farmers were satisfied with the implementation of the Rice Farming Insurance program with CSI score of 79%. The attributes that need to be improved are the compensation requirements, the amount of coverage, the submission procedure, reviewing, and payment procedure of claims, and the time of approval and payment of claims. Those attributes were considered important by farmers yet still have low performance.

Abstract

The aims of this research are finding out the correlation between product and consumer purchasing decisions, price and consumer purchasing decisions, promotion and consumer purchasing decisions, place and consumer purchasing decisions. This research has already done form May until July 2020. The samples were 50 respondents taken by nonprobability sampling technique. Data were collected by questionnaires. Data analysis were descriptive analysis technique and Spearman’s Correlation analysis using SPSS 23 software. The results of this research shows the product is strongly related with the correlation coeffecient value positive, which means it has a directional correlation and product has a significant correlation with the consumer purchasing decision at Malabar Mountain Cafe in Bogor. The price is strongly related with the correlation coeffecient value positive, which means it has a directional correlation and price has a significant correlation with the consumer purchasing decision at Malabar Mountain Cafe in Bogor. The promotion is strong enough related with the correlation coeffecient value positive, which means it has a directional correlation and promotion has a significant correlation with the consumer purchasing decision at Malabar Mountain Cafe in Bogor.  The place is very weakly related with the correlation coeffecient value negative, which means it has undirectional correlation and the place has not a significant correlation with the consumer purchasing decision at Malabar Mountain Cafe in Bogor.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the declining interest of young workers working in the agricultural sector has consequences for the sustainability of the agricultural sector going forward. In the future, the burden on the agriculture sector will be heavier with the inc reasing population and increasing food demand. The reasons for the decline in the interest of young workers works at agricultural sector are mainly caused by the image of the agricultural sector which is less prestigious and can not provide adequate rewards. The crisis of young farmers in the agricultural sector and the predominance of older farmers has consequences for the agriculture sector development, particularly on agricultural productivity, market competitiveness, ruraleconomic capacity, and further it will threaten food security and agricultural sector sustainability. The objective of the research is to know the effect of social to career prospects on agricultural career empirically. The research involves 110 respondents with a questionnaire as a research instrument. The type of research in this study is survey research, the type of research which the way to collect data obtained or collected from the sample or population under study. Testing is done with a regression test to determine the effect of social status on career prospects in agriculture. The results of this study indicate that social status has an influence on perceptions of career prospects in the agricultural sector.
