Abstract

This research aims to produce students’ worksheet based on local wisdom for first grade on theme my hobbies subtheme love in doing sports& singing and dancing of  SDN Utama 1 Tarakan. This research was Research and Development  with adopt procedure from Borg and Gall which is potential and problem, gather information, product design, design validation, the revised design, product testing, product revision, testing usage, and product revision. This result showed that : (a) student worksheet included in the category of valid from aspect content and material with average score 4,44 category very good, aspect language with average score 4 category good, and aspect desain with average score 4,04 category very good (b) student worksheet included in the category of practic with average score 3,83 category good (c) student worksheet included in the category effective from aspect observation student activity with average score 3,45 category good, aspect student respons with average score 4,32 category very good, and aspect of  students learning outcomes with average score 4,74 category very good. Keyword: Student Worksheet, Local Culture

Abstract

Recent studies show that teaching practice is dominated by the use of classical method which results in reality that only 20% of the students actively take parts in the class activities. This research is attempted to develop students’ learning participation and achievement in Natural Science Subject under project-based learning strategy to make learning realia. The subjects of the research are the students of five graders of SDN Cermo 1 Kare. The data on the students’ achievement are drawn by means of test, and those of students’ learning activity are drawn by observation on their participation in discussion and realia making process. The analysis results in conclusions that: students’ achievement and activity develops. Threshold level can be achieved 37% higher. The students’ activity develops by 25%. The teacher’s activity develops by 22.91%. Students’ participation in making realia develops by 54%, students’ skill in fixing components develops by 55%. It can then be concluded that students’ learning participation and achievement in Natural Science Subject under project-based learning strategy to make learning realia can develop students’ learning achievement and activity.

Abstract

At the elementary school level, sains learning still monotonous anduninteresting because elementary school system with classroom teachers to makethe teachers have difficulty in using the right strategy. Teachers are required toachieve the target material that is quite a lot and should be comleted in eachsemester.This situation resulted in the lack of attention of student in the process oflearning activities so that a low student motivation. Under these conditions, thepurpose of this research is to improve students motivation through quantumteaching method of learning process in the fourth grade students of SDN 02 WatesDistric jenangan, Ponorogo.This research is a classroom action research (PTK),which consists of the first cycle and the second cycle. The study subjects werestudents of class 4 SDN 02 Wates wich consist 11 students. Collecting data in thisstudy using a questionnaire to determine students motivation, and the observationsheet in the form of check list to determine the activity of students. Before heldresearch student motivation is low. Then after research showed that motivation ofstudents of cycle 1 45,5% and cycle II 82% increased 36,5%. Interpretation ofstudent learning to learning in sycle 1 is 36% and cycle II increased to 82%.Student activity in I cycle was 27,3% and in the II cycle increased to 81,8%. Theresult showed that the use of quantum teaching methods can improve studentsmotivation in learning sains SDN 02 wates.

Abstract

Language learning is aimed to achieve proficiency properly. To achieve objectives of language learning cannot be separated from aspects of grammar. One way to achieve the grammatical aspect is by using a test. The purpose of language test is ability and skill in language not knowledge about language. Range of aspects are measured based on the types of tests used in the test questions at the end of the learning/ formative. This research aimed to determine language aspects tested at the end of each semester. This study used a qualitative approach and data sources in the form of the exam end of semester 1 and 2 grade 1 to grade 6. Techniques of data collection is done by collecting data source in the field and read the data source. Data analysis phase consists of three stages: data reduction, classification, presentation of data and drawing conclusions. The results showed there were aspects of language such as phonology, morphology aspect which consists of free and bound morpheme, the process of reduplication or repetition, syntactic aspects that form phrases and sentences as well as aspects such as semantic meaning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi observasi peneliti berkaitan perilaku dan etika di ruang kelas mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) Universitas Widya Dharma. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk  mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa Program Studi PGSD Universitas Widya Dharma tentang etika mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dinamakan penelitian deskripsi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah para mahasiswa Program Studi PGSD Universitas Widya Dharma. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik dokumentasi dan angket. Data dianalisis dengan pengeditan, pengkodean, pemberian skor, dan pembuatan tabel. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut; Sebagian besar mahasiswa Program Studi PGSD Universitas Widya Dharma memiliki persepsi yang positif terhadap etika mahasiswa. Sebagian besar mahasiswa tersebut sudah memahami hak, kewajiban, pergaulan, tanggung jawab, berpakaian, komitmen waktu, dan larangan dalam menjalani etika sebagai mahasiswa Universitas Widya Dharma.

Abstract

This research purposes to improve the movements of the fifth graders of the elementary school SD Negeri 1 Panggung Barat Magetan by applying the Gymnastic Video of “SenamKesegaranJasmani (SKJ)” 2012. This is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The source of data are the fifth graders of SDN I Panggung Barat Magetan as many as 30. Data were collected through tests and observation. They are qualitatively described and the percentage of the distribution is provided. Results show that applying the SKJ video improved the movements of the fifth graders of SDN I Panggung Barat Magetan as indicated by the tests on their movements before and after the application of the video. The descriptive qualitative analysis improvements were visible on the cycle I, II and III in which there were three action meetings. In the first cycle it focused on the warming up, core and cooling-down movements. In the final meeting of the first cycle, a test was administered. In the first cycle it found improvement of 30% out of the 30 students i.e. 9 students. In the second cycle was reflection on the first cycle and another movement was added. In this cycle the emphasis was on the core movements and repeating the warming up and introducing the cooling-down ones. In thi final meeting of this cycle, a test was administered and all students took part. The second cycle witnessed improvement of 60%, 19 out of 30 students. The third cycle was a reflection on the second cycle in addition to another movement introduction. This cycle emphasized on the cooling-down movements and repetition on the warming up and core movements. In the final meeting, a test was administered to know whether or not the students improved. All of them participated. In this cycle it was found improvement of 75%, or 23 out of 30 students. However, there were 25 of them who could perform correctly. The percentage, therefore, changes into 80%. This is higher than the expected one on the third cycle. It is also revealed that 19.4% or 6 students were not able to perform the gymnastic correctly. Key words: SKJ 2012 Video, Gymnastic Movements

Abstract

Based on the observations of pre research made in class V MI NW Pancor Kopong, it found the problem that the Indonesian teachers have difficulty in teaching of poem writing. The problems of low ability to write poetry on students are always a constraint among learners and teachers, especially in V MI NW Pancor Kopong in 2013/2014 academic year. Based on this reality, the researcher conducted a study with the aim to improve students' writing poetry at class V MI NW Pancor Kopomg in 2013/2014 academic year through the implementation of constructivism strategies in learning the Indonesian language. Data collection techniques of this study are test and observation. The collected data were analyzed to find the average value, ideal capabilities and look for the ability of group. Based on the result of analysis, it obtains the outcome of student learning with an average 49.86. Classically, it just reaches 17:24%. It means that of 29 students, there are 6 students who have completed or received value above 65 and an increase in cycle II. At the second cycle, 9 of 29 students have fulfilled the criteria of minimum completeness. Based on the percentage calculation obtained, the classical learning completeness is 31.03%. The result of the second cycle has not yet reached the target set. Target can be reached at the third cycle in which 27 students of 29 or 93.10% have been completed. Result of the third cycle has exceeded the target of 90%. Based on the analysis, the application of constructivism learning strategy models to improve the ability to write poetry in grade V MI NW Pancor Kopong at the academic year 2013/2014 in the field of the Indonesian language is successful. Keywords: Ability to write poetry, constructivism learning strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar IPS khususnya dalam hal  kemampuan mengidentifikasi kedudukan dan peran anggota dalam keluarga dan lingkungan tetangga melalui metode ekspositori siswa Kelas II SDN Sukolilo 03 Kecamatan Jiwan Madiun tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan melalui 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas II dan dilakukan secara kolaboratif dengan guru SDN Sukolilo 03. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi metode ekspositori yang digunakan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar siswa Kelas II SD Negeri Sukolilo 03 Kecamatan Jiwan Madiun, ternyata lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan dan menumbuhkan aktivitas, motivasi, dan prestasi belajar siswa. Hal ini terbukti dengan siswa yang mendapat nilai sama atau lebih tinggi dari KKM meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II.

Abstract

Logical argumentations are required in communication and interactions between students and teachers. Classroom activities lead continuous or discontinuous communication and interactions. This is due to the questions by the teacher to the students contains logical truth. The value of the logical truth makes the teaching and learning activities run as they are planned. Questions for the students should be tautologies rather than those contradictory.

Abstract

Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) merupakan cara berfikir yang mengedepankan nilai-nilai berfikir kritis dan kreatif sehingga dipandang mampu memberikan solusi dalam menghadapi tantangan perkembangan zaman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui dan memberikan gambaran tentang pemahaman guru kelas Sekolah Dasar (SD) terhadap HOTS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survey sedangkan pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskritptif kuantitatif. Instrumen dalam pengambilan data menggunakan kuisioner/ angket tertutup yang dibagikan langsung kepada responden. Selanjutnya, data dalam penlitian ini dianalisis dengan teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 91,43% responden memahami konsep dari HOTS dan 8,57% responden belum memahami. Sebesar 85,71% responden berpendapat HOTS bisa diajarkan pada tingkat sekolah dasar, 11,43% berpendapat HOTS belum bisa diajarkan dan 2,86% responden menjawab tidak tahu. 82,86% responden sudah menerapkan HOTS pada kegiatan pembelajaran dan 17,14% responden belum menerapkan. Sebesar 79% responden kesulitan dalam merancang dan menerapkan evaluasi berbasiskan HOTS, 59% kesulitan dalam penyampaian materi pembelajaran, 45% kesulitan dalam merancang media pembelajaran, 38% kesulitan dalam merancang perangkat pembelajaran dan sebesar 31% kesulitan dalam proses penyusunan bahan ajar.
