This article entitled : Analisis Unsur Intrinsik dan Nilai-Nilai yang Terkandung dalam Cerpen Mirror, Mirror on The Wall karya Dewi Lestari.” The writer wants to show the theme, the characters, setting, and plot of the Cerpen. The writer used a structural approach method in conducting this research. In the structural approach method, the writer completed the research by studying the internal aspects of the cerpen. Based on the analysis, it indicates that major-protagonist character in Mirror, Mirror on The Wall, Saya because the story is dominated by Saya. Mereka is called the major-antagonist character because they are the master mind of the conflict. The theme of the story is about life is made of choices. The setting of the story are place, time, social that connects to the main character.

This study aims to examine the short story "Ketika Gerimis Jatuh" by Sapardi Djoko Damono. The method used in this research is by the approach of narrative structure and semiotics. Semiotic study with a focus on syntagmatic and paradigmatic analysis can describe the relationship of Rini, gerimis (drizzle), and his family. With a focus on syntagmatic and paradigmatic analysis can be found criticism of the modern lifestyle of parenting in children.

This article was written based on the results of research conducted in Jepara entitled Use of Formal and Informal English Basaha by Carving Entrepreneurs in Jepara. The purpose of this study was to describe the use of formal English (written) and informal (verbal) by carving entrepreneurs in Jepara. Data collection was carried out in three ways, namely secondary data, questionnaires, and interviews. Questionnaires were given to respondents consisting of large entrepreneurs, medium-sized entrepreneurs, and small-scale entrepreneurs. The results of the study illustrate that the level of use of formal English is mostly done by large entrepreneurs. The use of informal English from the three groups of different intensity categories is caused by contact with different buyers.

The phoneme “minimal pair” data can be used as a “language games” tool, because the notion of “language games” is: the efforts made by language speakers in “playing with” language, especially words, for specific purposes/interests. Based on existing references, the problem of the “minimal pair” phoneme as a “language game” tool has never been used as a separate research object, so it is interesting to study. The data is obtained by listening and different/contrasting meaning with the method of recording/recording. The type of data is secondary, because more data is found in several references that discuss Indonesian phonology. Data analysis based on the application of phonology linguistic theory, phonemic subfields. The final results of the study found five kinds of “language gamesing” patterns, namely: 1) patterned: one vowel phoneme vs. one vowel phoneme, 2) patterned: two vowel phonemes vs. two vowel phonemes, 3) patterned: one vowel phoneme vs. one diphthong phoneme, 4) patterned: one consonant phoneme vs. one consonant phoneme, and 5) patterned: two consonant phonemes vs. two consonant phonemes.

In the social life, the religion have two faces: conflict and peace. Conflict arises in many reasons, one of them is ethnocentric views. Peace condition comes because all of religion advocates to living in harmony. The two phenomena were studied in the discussion of the religious leaders in the Organization of the Religious Harmony Forum (FKUB) Central Java. Result of the workshop are: (1) to avoid conflict, do not take ethnocentric views; (2). The truth of religion is absolute in relative term; (3) the religious community must have a principle that the different is beautiful; (4) the last but not lease, needed to form interfaith community in some areas with different religions.

The purpose of writing this paper is to describe creative writing activities for seventh grade students in East Jakarta. This activity was carried out by a team of lecturers, students and alumni of the Indonesian Language Study Program at Indraprasta PGRI University as a form of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in Community Service. The implementation of this activity lasted for two days at two different schools. The method used in this creative writing activity is the lecture and brainstorming methods. In addition, the Community Service team also used a demonstration method in describing the stages or process of creative writing of literature according to its experience in literary copyright. With literary creative writing activities both writing poetry or short stories, from these our team expected that the more real growth and development of school literacy will occur so that more students produce literary works. Therefore, the outcome of this activity is the publication of Short Story Poetry and Antalogy book by students

By translating many books of jurisprudence and Sufism in Javanese, KH Sholeh Darat delivered a message of da'wah at the house of the Regent of Demak which was the uncle of R.A. Kartini. KH Sholeh Darat translates the Quran in Javanese using Arabic Pegon. The book was recorded as the first translation book in the world in Javanese. The first book of interpretation in Arabic Javanese Pegon was given the name Faidhur Rohman. In his missionary ethos, KH Soleh Darat was very concerned about how Javanese culture and character education of Javanese people lack understanding in Arabic. Therefore, the effort to translate various books into banhasa Jawa is nothing more than the process of Javanese Islamization which is very accommodating to Javanese culture. One of the books that reveals the Javanese ethic of Sufism is the Syarah Al Hikam Book. This research is based on the consideration that the manuscript includes some of the cultural riches of the archipelago of the past century which until now can still be saved. Therefore, this manuscript needs to be studied philologically and thematically, especially the values of the propaganda of KH Sholeh Darat which provide a wind of harmony in religion. Through intertextual studies this study intends to find the character relationship of Syarah Al Hikam KH Soleh Darat. Through the learning of the Al Hikam book, traces of Islamic thought and the method of da'wah that combines Islamic culture and Javanese culture, accommodating, moderate, between the Shari'a and the tarekat is the harmonization of Islam can be accepted in the multicultural society in Semarang and Java in the 19th century.

Pola Alih Tutur dalam Naskah Drama First Love Karya Inggrida Wisnu S. Sri Puji Astuti

The purpose of this research is to describe the pattern of turn-taking and how to get the turn-taking contained in the drama of First Love by Inggrida Wismu S. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Methods of data collection in this research is an observation method means that observe to the play script drama of First Love by Inggrida Wisnu S. the source of data obtained by online media. The data obtained in this research was a fragment of taking. Then, the data was analyzed by using the pattern of turn-taking. The results showed that the pattern of turn taking based on the closest adjacency pair contained in the drama of First Love script was (1) the question was followed by the answer, (2) greeting was followed by salam, (3) the call was followed by the answer, (4) farewell expression was followed by message, (5) ) praise was followed by refusing, (7) complain was followed by questioning, answering, offering, and refusing, (8) accusing was followed by refusing and admitting (9) the petition was followed by agreement, petition, suspension, petition, granting. As for turn-taking in the First Love drama by Inggrida Wisnu S used how to acquire, steal, create, continue, and seize.

Abstract In providing an aesthetic element, the lyricist will express it through poetic diction. In the hands of creative lyric writers, a figurative language will emerge. Metaphorical lyrics understanding does not have to have the same meaning that is written. Poetic language / poetic lyrics, the words can mean the meaning depends on the listener's understanding. Even so in the song nDangdut. In general, the song Dangdut tends to have a theme of love compared to other themes. This article discusses metaphorical diction as an aesthetic means. Traditional art is used to express a sense of beauty from within the human soul. As part of culture, traditional art has messages in the form of knowledge, ideas, beliefs and norm values. One example of traditional art is Dayakan. Dayakan is a dance-shaped art owned by the people of Kebondalem Village, Bejen District, Temanggung Regency, Central Java. Through a qualitative descriptive approach with observation and literature techniques, it was found that in order to overcome the expansion of global art and culture, efforts were needed to manage Dayakan arts in order to improve and preserve regional art and culture in the midst of changing times and increasingly intense foreign cultural influences in Indonesia.
