Abstract

This study reviews the scientific approach of Pendidikan Agama Islam and Budi Pekerti Kurikulum 2013, based on scientific paradigm of positivistic, proposed by Auguste Comte. The results of this study reveal that the scientific approach in the curriculum 2013 is done through some steps: to observe, to question, to reason, to associate and to communicate. This scientific approach is relevant to the positivistic paradigm. The theory stems from the emergence of legal positivism of Law of Three Stages by Auguste Comte. It states that historical development of human thought has evolved in three stages, namely theological or fictitious, metaphysical or abstract, and positive or scientific or real. Thus, according to this approach, if scientific approach is applied in Pendidikan Agama Islam and Budi Pekerti Kurikulum 2013 in the aspect of Aqidah, it becomes less relevant. However, the aspect of Jurisprudence, Morality, Al-Quran Hadith, and Islamic Cultural History, the scientific approach is very appropriate to be applied into the learning process.

Abstract

Based on phenomena At present, children experience an exemplary crisis. This happened because, at least the mass media raised the theme of exemplary figures for children. Television shows, for example, are dominated by entertainment programs in various variations, soap operas, or celebrity gossip shows that cannot be expected to provide examples of Islamic life as a whole. In this exemplary crisis, educators are an important base. Therefore, educators must have high awareness, to be role models in the process of forming Islamic moral character of children. The results of this study prove that: exemplary in education is an effective method / way of preparing children in terms of morals, mental and social. Psychologically exemplary as a method of Islamic education because it sees basically human beings from a young age already have a sense of wanting to imitate the movements or behavior of parents, teachers, and the environment. In this regard parents are required, the teacher has qualities that are exemplary as practiced by the Prophet. like the nature of patience, affection, morality, tawadhu ', zuhud and just.

Abstract

The history of Islamic Culture is one of the important lessons to be learned especially for Muslims as an effort to shape the character and personality of the people from the journey of a character or previous generation. In general, in reality the History of Islamic Culture is less desirable. Historical subjects are underestimated or only considered as supplementary lessons both by students and teachers. But there are different things at MTs Al Urwatul Wutsqo Jombang. The MTs makes an innovation, namely the Qur'an-based SKI. The results of this study found that problems: problems with learning resources that are incomplete, lack of understanding of methods, lack of media to meet learning objectives, student problems before and during learning, evaluation values are substandard. Teacher's efforts: learning resources are overcome by the internet as a complementary resource, methods are overcome by other methods prepared by the teacher, media is overcome with other media that are easy to find, students are overcome with some common things, evaluations are overcome with remedial programs.

Abstract

Female circumcision is a practice based on tradition carried out by most people in Indonesia. Historically, female circumcision existed long before the presence of Islam since the days of ancient Egypt which inherited the traditions of the wives of the Prophet Ibrahim> hi> m As., They believed it to be part of the ritual of purification of the soul. This tradition then spread to various regions in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and Asia such as India, Malaysia and Indonesia. Medical science observes that female circumcision does not provide benefits to women, but instead causes damage to the tissues of female organs which threatens reproductive fertility and decreases the level of aggression of women. On that basis, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia has issued a regulation prohibiting female circumcision and is only allowed to do so symbolically. The rule was later revoked because of reaping protests from elements of the muslin community who considered it a command of the Shari'a. This paper analyzes female circumcision in the perspective of history, medical and Islamic law in order to find the truth on the assumption that female circumcision is part of the command of Shari'a. The results of this study state that female circumcision is not at all included in the commandments of the Shari'a, but as a tradition passed down through the lives of Muslim communities.

Abstract

Talking about Islam that exists today is a continuation of Islam which has become history in the past. This means that when we try to uncover the essence of the meaning that exists in Islam today, of course we must look at how Islam in the past (reading history). In this context when we talk about Islamic history we certainly will never be separated from the early history of the emergence of Islam itself. Knowledge of history is very important because it will add insight and understanding of a past situation and provide a comparison of a situation that was formerly with the current situation. In the context of religion, for example, the religion of the Arabs before Islam did inherit Abraham and Ismail's religion as a tawheed religion, but with such a long distance between Prophet Ibrahim and the Prophet Muhammad had made it possible for the Arabs to turn away from belief in monotheism in polytheistic and paganism beliefs . With the arrival of Islam the belief in monotheism became the most fascinating beginning of the world. It does not stop there, Islam continues to develop in political and economic matters, especially in the government of the Khulafaurrasyidin. But the foundation of all that was built by the Prophet Muhammad during the time of Makkah-Madinah and was developed during the Khulafaurrasyidin.

Abstract

family is a smaller unit in society but it have big role in cultured state and nation. Success in family institution can be including success in economy, education and occupation or all of them. But, those are not certify to be a hormonious, happy and peaceful family. Being a happy and harmony family is a aim for every single of family. Due to the fact that, to establish a harmony family must be based by islamic theory. Success in organizing a harmony family have a strong related to peaceful society since the society come into being family. In addition, to being a strong and cultured family, parents have to have a skill and ability to creat a conducive sorroundings. Other than that, each part of family have a role active, responsible, good communication and build a love and pity either parents or children, the most important is equal in doing a work based on family need.

Abstract

Philosophy as the parent of all science is an important study that needs to be studied, the goal is that the deepest meaning in the context of thinking becomes clearer. So that inevitably philosophical studies need to be introduced in various forms. In a more explicit context that philosophy is an attempt to invite humans to be able to use the potential of extraordinary extraordinary intelligence is able to reveal all the deepest meanings of every inch of scientific analysis that has become knowledge. In this context philosophy as a field of contemplation which leads to ways to discover the nature of what is called love of wisdom can lead us to maturity of thought so that in time it will arrive at the desired essence in philosophy. Furthermore, to find out how to achieve the essence of philosophy is by trying to recognize the method of the Systematic Method: we are known as the work of philosophy or the contents of the first philosophy (essence theory or we are familiar with the term ontology). Second is (our theory of knowledge is also familiar with the term epistemology). Third is (value theory and known as axiology). Historical Method, Critical method: this method is used by Socrates and Plato. Intuitive Method: this method is used by Plotinos and Bergson. Scholastic Method: this method was used by Aristotle and Thomas Aquinas in the Middle Ages. And next is to know other characteristics such as history, and the thoughts of the characters.

Abstract

Western secularization has given birth to a paradigm that science is dichotomous, so that this concerns some Muslim scientists because religious understanding of science should be integral, then the integralization of science is a revolutionary step and at the same time answers to secularization. Integralization of science seeks to harmonize religious values ​​with scientific inventions and dialogue between revelation and reason. The characteristic that is brought about in this concept is that science is not released from the existence of God so that science is used as a field in getting closer to God and scientific discoveries lead to appreciation of the existence of the Supreme God. The effort to integralize this knowledge is the responsibility of Islamic educational institutions by removing dichotomous barriers. And one of the things that can be done in a concrete form is the effort to convert Islamic educational institutions from one form to another, namely one of them is the conversion of IAIN to UIN.
