<![CDATA[People who are financially literate are people who have the attitudes, skills and knowledge to manage one's finances to meet financial goals that help achieve life goals. In fact, the majority of the citizens of 'Aisyiyah in Sukoharjo Regency have children who are extravagant or consumptive, like to follow trends, and are less able to prioritize their needs than their desires so that they cannot understand and apply financial literacy in life daily. Based on the conditions experienced by residents of Aisyiyah, Sukoharjo Regency, there is a need for financial education and outreach for adults to be able to be applied to their children. The education and socialization program provided is expected to reduce consumptive behavior in children and provide benefits to the residents of the community ‘Aisyiyah Sukoharjo Regency to develop knowledge and understanding of financial literacy education and the ability to manage finances well.]]>

<![CDATA[The teaching of English in Indonesia has been started from elementary school until university level because students are expected to have good knowledge of English as the international language. In order to compete with people all over the world, English learners should be able to use English both in written and spoken form. The teaching of English in SMAINUS has been conducted in a fun way supported by the innovative teacher and interactive technique. Consequently, students have positive perceptions toward English and are more motivated to improve their English. However, there is no any English club, especially on English Conversation Club (ECC) that can facilitate students to do speaking practice outside the class to improve their productive skill rapidly. Therefore, this program is the starting point of ECC in SMAINUS. This paper aims at exploiting students’ perceptions of ECC program to create English environment.]]>

<![CDATA[The language of use, mostly Indonesian, in the general public (lay on the subject of Indonesian grammar) is not optimal. This happens because the rules of Indonesian language are not yet good and effective. These discrepancies are often found in all fields, such as public spaces and administrative institutions (correspondence). This needs to be understood. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve it. One way of coaching and socializing about the use of Indonesian. Efforts to foster and develop Indonesian language, both in their position as national languages and languages, need to be increased, before the global era and free trade era as it is today. This replaces the position and function of the Indonesian language to become more stable so that the Indonesian language can become a means of modern communication and be able to place itself parallel with other modern languages in the world. Through the Tri Dharma program of Higher Education, Community Service, the fostering and dissemination of Indonesian language aims to provide insight and understanding of the use of Indonesian language that is good and right. In addition, a language development and assistance program is provided by the Language Board of the Ministry of Education and Culture. <![CDATA[Household waste is becoming a common problem in our society. The consumptive lifestyle that is not supported by a good awareness of waste management resulting in increased waste volume. It will give a bad impact on the environment. This community service activity was aimed to provide solutions to waste problems in Gedongarum Village. The programs arranged were: waste sorting through socialization and training activity of 4R concept (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Replace), and manufacturing of waste sorting facilities. The results of the evaluation showed that the awareness of the community to the importance of waste sorting and processing increased by 58.7% and the knowledge on waste management, increased by 76.05%. The effectiveness of the program's success amounted to 71.7%, while 86,9% of the respondents support the activities to be sustainable.]]>

<![CDATA[Greenhouse gas emissions are an environmental issue that has an impact on climate change and global warming. One of the cause is the burning of rice straw after harvest in the field. The existence of majelis taklim is not only religious facilities, and it’s as a way to community empowerment. QS. As-Sad 27 and QS Al-Anbiya 16 explains that everything created by Allah SWT with all aims and benefits. Generally, rice straw is perception as a waste, but if it utilised with science and technology will be able to improve the use of value and economic value. 82,19% and 79,45% of the members of majlis taklim have perception that utilizing of rice straw can improve their income and part of the sustainable environmental management. And 94,25% of the members of majelis taklim did not utilise rice straw and burned it in the field. They did not have skills and knowledge to utilise of the rice straw. Furthermore, training and education must be conducted regularly.]]>

<![CDATA[Makassar community is divided into sub-district, urban village, hamlet, and neighborhood unit with all its issues. One of the problems is in the Sambung Jawa, Mamajang Sub-district where there is still lack of interest and awareness to understand the importance of knowledge about the rights and obligations of a trading business (legal entity). On the other hand, there are some people who have succeeded, but are more concerned with pursuing profits to meet their needs than caring about legal issues. The solution to these problems is providing legal assistance and socialization regarding the establishment of a business entity (formerly home industry) carried out in the communities of RW 6, 7, 8, and 9 who have business activities in clothing, crafts and food industry as UMK (Micro and Small Enterprises) entrepreneurs, procedures and terms of submission of brands, as well as providing information about brand rights.The aim of this activity is to increase legal awareness and provide legal protection by continuous (periodically) mentoring both during service and afterwards. The method that used are direct meeting with servants and local officials / community leaders and discussions with partners as well as with women's organizations which resulted in an agreement that counseling and assistance will be provided by the servant. The results of the implementation of community service provide a positive value for UMK entrepreneurs with very satisfying indicators of success. Public information about brand rights was received enthusiastically by the community and provided a great motivation to increase industrial business skills so that the turnover can increase even more.]]>

<![CDATA[Southern Malang region is the center of cassava producers in Malang Raya area. In Tempursari Village, Donomulyo District, Malang Regency, processing of cassava has not been done optimally. There has been limited effort to enrich the processed cassava with additional high nutrition. Cassava peel waste also has not been utilized optimally by the residents. Therefore, counseling and advocacy activities of nutrition enrichment technology on cassava processing is essential to be applied. Service activities were done through diffusion activities related to the application of cassava processing technology to Islamic Women Organization based on Nahdhatul Ulama (Muslimat-NU) board in Tempursari Village, Donomulyo District, Malang in a participatory way. The technology applied was a simple nutrient fortification technology, with green bean-crushed cassava steam, cassava brownies, protein-rice cassava rice, protein-rich cassava flour, natural healthy cassava peel sauce. The results of this activity were: a. There was an increasing pattern of public understanding of the importance of cassava enrichment nutrition among the participants. It encouraged them to do various innovations in creating high economic value of cassava processed food. b. There was an increasing pattern of skill society in adopting cassava processing fortification technology. It showed that feasibility of cassava as the resource of nutritious staple food increased. Therefore the community will become more productive and innovative, and the technology disseminated in this activity could be further developed and popularized.]]>

<![CDATA[The literacy movement is being carried out by the government nationally in various circles ranging from families, schools and communities. It is also entitled to be felt by all people including street children. For street children literacy culture also needs to be grown because their literacy is still low. This effort was carried out by increasing literacy in "Lotus" street children in the Social Barracks of Demaan Village, Kudus Regency, Central Java. Lack of interest in learning because teaching materials in schools are not easy for them to digest, making them less desirable and a burden on them. Teaching materials that are made thematically presented in the form of reading about local wisdom around them are expected to improve their literacy culture. The PKM is carried out by mentoring educational programs in the form of tutoring and training in improving literacy. In mentoring using teaching materials that have been developed by applying several methods. Like learning methods based on study groups according to age with approaches such as scientific, thematic, tutorial, drill and lecture. while the implementation of literacy training delivered good reading and writing methods. From this PKM activity, it was found that the level of enthusiasm of attendance was very high %80%, literacy ability had experienced an increase of> 10% with a significant.]]>
