Abstract

Education in Indonesia still has problems that occur, especially the behavior of separation anxiety from attachment figures, this was found from observations by researchers, which are influenced by self and environmental factors. This study aims to analyze the effect of the PAIKEM-based Shaping technique with Positive Reinforcement on separation anxiety in early childhood. This type of research was a single case experimental design which was carried out in three phases, namely the baseline phase (A1), the intervention phase (B) and the baseline phase (A2). The subject in this study was one child in group A. Collecting research data on children's separation anxiety behavior used observation and interview methods with an observation checklist sheet instrument. The research data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis methods and the data presented visually (visual inspection) in graphical form. The results of data analysis showed that there was a decrease in the frequency of separation anxiety and an increase in the frequency of children's anxiety from the baseline phase (A1) with an average of 6 to 14.18 in the intervention phase (B) and an increase in the frequency of children's independence during the PAIKEM-based positive reinforcement technique intervention. prohibited (A2) with an average of 18.7. Based on the results of this study it can be interpreted that the PAIKEM-based positive reinforcement technique has had an effect on reducing children's separation anxiety.

Abstract

Teachers have not used innovative learning models and learning is still focused on teachers. The learning provided by the previous teacher was only from parables which made students less understanding of the material given by the teacher. This study aims to analyze the effect of the concept map-assisted SFAE learning model on the interest and learning outcomes of science in grade V students. The total population of this study was 175 students, the sample was 63 students. Learning interest data was collected by questionnaires, while science learning outcomes data were collected by tests. The results of the analysis show: 1) The first hypothesis with Fcount is 173.029 (p < 0.05). 2) The second hypothesis with a Fcalculate of 22.496 (p<0.05). And 3) The third hypothesis with a Fcalculate of 90.955(p<0.05). Based on these results, it can be concluded that there are significant differences in interest and science learning outcomes between groups of students who are taught with the Student Facilitator And Explaining learning model assisted by concept maps and groups of students who are not taught with the Student Facilitator And Explaining learning model assisted by concept maps in grade V elementary school students.

Student readiness is one aspect that needs to be considered before the learning process begins. Many researchers analyzed student readiness in learning, but unfortunately, only a few researches that checked how students’ learning readiness is in the post-pandemic covid-19. This research was conducted to find out the students' readiness toward English learning in post-pandemic covid-19. The researcher used a quantitative research and used questionnaire to collected the data. The participants of this study were 145 students The quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive analysis about the central tendency of the data. The study showed that the students had the readiness to face new learning situations in post-pandemic Covid-19 in learning English, but were not fully prepared. Based on the results, it is known that students are still not fully prepared in their cognitive readiness section due to a lack of students' understanding of common languages in learning English. Further research is recommended to research related to how to improve students' abilities, especially in the vocabulary mastery section in the post-pandemic covid-19.

Abstract

The use of social media in higher education provided a collaborative learning environment and increased peer engagement and interaction between educators and students. Nowadays, many students used social media in their daily lives to easily communicate over long distances without having to meet directly at school. Social media was important for students because it served as a place for gathering and searching for information. Therefore, the integration of social media into learning process can be an innovation for today’s learning strategy. This research was conducted to investigate students' perceptions of their learning motivation towards the implementation of social media-based online learning at SMAN 1 Ubud. Some data collection techniques used for collecting different types of data, such as field research, participant observation, and in-depth interviews, as proposed by Bungin (2010). The qualitative approach was employed to analyze the data by using the thematic analysis model proposed by Braun and Clarke (2006). The process of thematic analysis involved analyzing the data, where each question contributed to the understanding of the research problem and led to a holistic view of the overall picture. The result of this research shows that social media can assist students in developing their cognitive aspects. The students' learning motivation increases due to several factors within social media, such as diverse content, various learning sources, and the presence of animations, visuals, and audio. These positive impacts make students enthusiastic about learning and interested in classroom activities. Ultimately, these factors also have an impact on their cognitive development.
