ENLIGHTEN (Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam)
ENLIGHTEN: Islamic Counseling Guidance Journal, is a forum for scientists, experts, experts, practitioners in the world of Islamic Counseling. Enlighten stands on the notion of concern for the IAIN Langsa Islamic Guidance and Counseling Study Program due to the lack of literature on current Islamic Counseling research. With that enthusiasm, in the year 2018 Enlighten was published first. Enlighten is published twice a year in July and December. The focus of the study relates to the results of research and methods of developing Islamic Counseling. Enlighten already has e-ISSN 2622-8920 and p-ISSN: 2622-8912. Already has various indices and DOI. The entire submit process is published through full OJS, which is reviewed by experts and scientists in Islamic Counseling both at home and abroad.

<![CDATA[The problem of this research is based on the large number of students entering high school on the wishes of parents, students feel wrongly entering the department because it is not in accordance with their talents, interests and potential. Furthermore, efforts have been made by the teacher for guidance and counseling in providing Holland theory career guidance services. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The informants in this study were counseling teachers and students. Data analysis in this research uses steps of data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Holland's theory career guidance services has been going well. From the results of interviews, observations and documentation to research informants regarding the implementation of Holland theory career guidance services, it can be understood that at the planning, implementation, evaluation and follow-up stages have been going well as they should, this is evident in the existence of service program plans, materials and instruments Holland, as well as the results of the Holland instrument analysis of students who already know the personality type and direction of their career choices.]]>

<![CDATA[This article aims to look at how to improve self-efficacy through guidance and counseling services at SMP 1 Pleret, Yogyakarta. This type of research is qualitative descriptive, data collection methods through interviews and observations. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Results and discussion that there are still many students who have low self-efficacy so they are difficult to achieve good learning outcomes. This is proven by some students rarely doing school work and rarely doing homework also do not have the motivation to excel. BK teachers try through guidance and counseling services in the form of a preventive approach for those with high self-efficacy and a curative approach for students with low self-efficacy. Such as helping students to convince themselves that students are able to do tasks even though it is difficult and able to excel and to convince students to avoid feeling inferior about themselves. Guidance and counseling provided by BK teachers shows significant changes in some students who already have high self-efficacy. So it can be concluded that through guidance and counseling can be an effort to improve student self-efficacy.]]>

<![CDATA[Adolescent is one of the stages in human life that is very critical, because it is a stage of transition from childhood to adulthood. At this stage a lot of changes occur in adolescents, such as physical, emotional and social changes. This period of change is commonly referred to as the period of puberty. The puberty period is also considered an overlapping period because it covers the final years of the childhood period and the early years of the teenage period. Changes experienced by adolescents in the puberty period are often troubling because the various changes that occur are considered as a very disturbing clumsiness. As good puberty teenagers, they are expected to understand the physical, emotional and social changes they experience. School counselors have a large role in helping students deal with periods of puberty. This role is reflected in the counseling guidance service provided to help students deal with the period of puberty so that giving birth to a good assessment of the puberty teenager on the changes they experience and puberty teenagers will have a positive self-concept in their lives. Guidance and counseling services provided by school counselors in helping students deal with periods of puberty cannot be done alone. Requires cooperation in the collaborative paradigm in implementing it. <![CDATA[This research is motivated by the existence of parents who educate their children in excessive ways and will lead their children to negative influences in the future. The attitude of the parents is thought to be related to the child's independence. This study aims to examine the contribution between parents' attitudes and children's independence at SM Aur 01 Sungai Aur, West Pasaman Regency. This research uses quantitative correlational type method. The research population was VIII grade students of SMPN 01 Sungai Aur, West Pasaman Regency with a total of 195 respondents, a sample of 130 respondents, selected by proportional stratified random sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by simple linear regression using the SPSS program. The results showed that there was a contribution between parents' attitudes and children's independence at SM Aur 01 Sungai Aur, West Pasaman Regency which was equal to (R 4.1% and significant rtable 0.021). This means that the level of independence of a child is not only influenced by the attitude of parents, but there are still many other factors that influence.]]>

<![CDATA[When God sent disaster in the form of the disease in humans in the world, God also gave instructions on how to deal with and treat it in His book. This paper explains the spiritual values and religiosity through Islamic psychotherapy whose aim is to provide a religious / Islamic nuanced solution to the problem of anxiety disorders and contracting Covid-19 that engulfs the world. The method that I use in this paper is a descriptive analysis method, in which the author presents data from several relevant opinions and tested through various sources then analyzes it, to produce a more effective alternative that is packaged in an appropriate, actual, factual, and contextual method. One approach to dealing with the problem of anxiety disorders and exposure to Covid-19 during a pandemic is through therapy. Sufism patience therapy seeks to optimize and unleash human spiritual energy through three phases. The takhalli phase is the phase in which humans cleanse impurities both physically and the heart, the tahalli phase is where humans learn to decorate themselves or behave with commendable qualities and the tajalli phase is how humans feel a good relationship with God is established. Patience therapy with verses of the Koran specifically to cure all diseases, namely: Quran in Surah Al-Isra 'verses 82, Surah Al-Anbiya verses 83-84, and Surah Al-Fatihah verses 1-7.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the emotional intelligence of female students who wear the full face veil. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The sampling technique was carried out with a total sampling of 38 students who wore the veil from several universities in Indonesia. The research instrument uses a Likert-shaped Emotional Intelligence Scale owned by Dika Sahputra. Questionnaires are distributed online through the Google Forms application from November 2019 to January 2020. The results showed that in general the emotional intelligence of students who wore the full face veil was in the high category. These results can be used as a basis for making programs for guidance and counseling services in tertiary institutions, as well as being the basis for policy making for university leaders and the government towards female students and women who use the full face veil]]>
