Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Pembinaan Seni Dan Budaya Warga Dukuh Ingasrejo, Desa Plesungan, Kecamatan Gondangrejo, Kabupaten Karanganyar melalui Pendekatan Seni Teater. Penelitian dilakukan dengan fokus pada pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan memantik daya kreatif warga Dukuh Ingasrejo menggunakan pendekatan intim kepada tokoh masyarakat terlebih dahulu. Peneliti meyakini bahwa penerapan keilmuan seni teater dapat menjadi metode untuk mempererat kembali sikap gotong-royong dan kerukunan dalam lingkungan Dukuh Ingasrejo sebagai tujuan dari penelitian. Dari kegiatan survei awal peneliti dengan tokoh masyarkat di Dukuh Ingasrejo, diketahui bahwa warga dukuh membutuhkan wadah baru di luar kegiatan PKK, Karang Taruna, atau perkumpulan formal lainnya sebagai tempat meningkatkan kegotongroyongan dan daya kreatif. Hal itu digunakan dalam rangka menguatkan sikat kerukunan antar warga di Dukuh Ingasrejo. Luaran dari penelitian ini adalah laporan karya tulis dan juga dokumentasi kegiatan. Kata Kunci: Warga Dukuh Ingasrejo, gotong-royong, kerukunan, daya kreatif, seni teater.This research is entitled Art and Culture Development for residents of Dukuh Ingasrejo, Desa Plesungan, Kecamatan Gondangrejo, Kabupaten Karanganyar through the Theater Arts Approach. The research was conducted with a focus on community empowerment by igniting the creative power of residents of Dukuh Ingasrejo using an intimate approach to community leaders first. Researchers believe that the application of theater arts science can be a method to re-strengthen the attitude of mutual cooperation and harmony within the Dukuh Ingasrejo as the aim of the research. From the initial survey activities of researchers with community leaders in Dukuh Ingasrejo, it was found that residents needed a new forum outside the activities of the PKK, Karang Taruna, or other formal associations as a place to increase mutual cooperation and creative power. This was used in order to strengthen harmony between residents in Dukuh Ingasrejo. Abstract

Fotografi dalam perkembangannya menjadi sebuah kebutuhan penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Penguasaan kompetensi fotografi sangatlah penting sebagai salah satu modal dalam mengembangkan kompetensi keahlian multimedia. Fotografi merupakan keahlian yang penting dikuasai oleh siswa SMK jurusan Multimedia karena bidang tersebut dapat dikembangkan secara profesional, bahkan sebelum lulus dari jenjang sekolah. Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat oleh Dosen S1 Desain Komunikasi Visual (DKV), Fakultas Seni Rupa dan Desain (FSRD), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) yang tergabung dalam Grup Riset Desain dan Media Baru, bertujuan untuk mengadakan “Pelatihan Fotografi Dasar untuk Siswa Jurusan Multimedia di SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Gemolong”. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini diharapkan Siswa Jurusan Multimedia SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Gemolong memiliki wawasan tentang perkembangan dunia fotografi serta pengetahuan dan ketrampilan dalam bidang fotografi untuk mendukung kompetensi kejuruan bidang keahlian multimedia.

Abstract

Penciptaan dan pementasan Daring Konser Karawitan Kinanthi Kunci Ati adalah sebuah artikel yang membahas mengenai proses penciptaan karya “Kinanthi Kunci Ati” yang selanjutnya dipentaskan secara virtual. “Kinanthi Kunci Ati” sendiri merupakan sebuah karya musik komposisi yang berpijak pada kaidah musik karawitan tradisi, selanjutnya dikembangkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan ekspresi pengkarya. “Kinanthi Kunci Ati” merupakan sebuah karya refleksi yang dilakukan pengkarya terhadap keadaan normal baru yang diakibatkan oleh pandemi Covid-19 yang sudah setahun lebih menyerang Indonesia dan dunia. Adapun langkah-langkah penciptaan melalui tiga tahapan, yakni; orientasi, observasi, dan eksplorasi. Orientasi adalah mencari hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan embrio karya seperti isu-isu yang berkembang, menimbang urgensi kekaryaan dengan keadaan dan kebutuhan masyarakat masa kini, dalam hal ini ialah fenomena kebiasaan hidup normal baru dan alih wahana seni pertunjukan dari komunal menjadi digital. Observasi adalah penelitian lebih dalam mengenai apa yang telah didapatkan pada tahap orientasi, sedangkan eksplorasi adalah pencarian mengenai bentuk dan sajian karya yang disesuaikan dengan ruang dan waktu pementasan. Karya ini didominasi oleh sajian vokal yang disusun berdasarkan rasa puisi (syair) dan dipentaskan di Taman Budaya Surakarta dalam format daring (dalam jaringan). Pemilihan pentas daring disesuaikan dengan kondisi dan keadaan penonton yang mulai terbiasa dengan pementasan virtual demi menghambat laju penularan virus Corona. Kata kunci: Kinanthi Kunci Ati, penciptaan, komposisi, virtual.The creation and performance of the Karawitan Kinanthi Kunci Ati Online Concert is an article that discusses the process of creating the work of "Kinanthi Kunci Ati" which is then performed virtually. "Kinanthi Kunci Ati" itself is a musical composition based on the principles of traditional musical music, which is then developed according to the needs of the artist's expression. "Kinanthi Kunci Ati" is a work of reflection done by the author on the new normal situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic which has hit Indonesia and the world for more than a year. The steps of creation go through three stages, namely; orientation, observation, and exploration. Orientation is looking for things related to the embryo of the work, such as developing issues, considering the urgency of work with the conditions and needs of today's society, in this case, the phenomenon of new normal life habits and the transfer of performing arts from communal to digital. Observation is a deeper study of what has been obtained at the orientation stage, while exploration is a search for the form and presentation of works adapted to the space and time of the performance. This work is dominated by vocal presentations which are arranged based on a sense of poetry (syair) and performed at Taman Budaya Surakarta in online format. The selection of online stages is adjusted to the conditions and circumstances of the audience who are getting used to virtual performances in order to inhibit the rate of transmission of the Corona virus. Keywords: Kinanthi Kunci Ati, creation, composition, virtual.

Abstract

Keberadaan berbagai perangkat barungan gamelan di kabupaten Bangli belum diimbangi  tersedianya tenaga instruktur/pembina atau pelatih seni karawitan saat ini yang memadai. Kebutuhan tersebut sangat mendesak bagi aktivitas sosial masyarakat beragama Hindu harus didukung oleh suara gamelan. Masyarakat terpencil mengeluhkan sulitnya mendapatkan pembinaan seni. Sebuah komposisi gending kendang memiliki fungsi sebagai pemurba irama, perannya sangat dominan, seorang pembina dituntut mutlak untuk menguasai instrumen perkusif yang terbuat dari kulit tersebut. Terbatasnya penguasaan instrumen membutuhkan adanya pelatihan professional melalui peningkatan kemampuan instrumen kendang untuk gupekan dan kendang pepanggulan. Hasil terlihat jelas  Eksistensi para pangendang (tukang kendang) di Kabupaten Bangli bisa dipertahankan dengan cara melakukan pembinaan atau pelatihan bekerjasama dengan mitra yang dianggap relevan. Mitra yang tepat adalah sebuah sanggar seni Bajra Suara Murti berlokasi di Banjar Tegal Bebalang Bangli. Rancangan realisasi pelatihan mengunakan metode eksperimen yang mengedepankan prinsip-prinsip keterbukaan, solidaritas, kebersamaan, saling menjaga, dengan menjunjung tinggi etika, logika dan estetika. Situasi Pandemi COVID-19 dalam praktek para peserta diberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan secara teoritis tentang cara-cara memainkan kendang gupekan dan kendang pepanggulan yang baik. Peragaan teknik memaikan kendang dipilih model pangendang yang telah memiliki kemampuan memainkan kendang gupekan dan kendang pepanggulan terlebih dahulu. Hasilnya telah mampu memainkan dengan kendang untuk gupekan dan kendang pepanggulan secara bersama-sama berkualitas.   The existence of various instruments of gamelan barungan in Bangli district has not been matched by the current availability of adequate instructors/coachers or trainers of musical arts. The need is very urgent for the social activities of the Hindu community to be supported by the sound of the gamelan. Remote communities complain about the difficulty of getting art coaching. A drum composition has a function as a rhythm maker, its role is very dominant, a builder is absolutely required to master the percussive instrument made of leather. The limited mastery of instruments requires professional training through increasing the ability of drum instruments for gupekan and pepanggulan drums. The results are clear. The existence of the pangendang (drummers) in Bangli Regency can be maintained by conducting coaching or training in collaboration with partners deemed relevant. The right partner is the Bajra Suara Murti art studio located in Banjar Tegal Bebalang Bangli. The design of the training realization uses an experimental method that puts forward the principles of openness, solidarity, togetherness, mutual care, by upholding ethics, logic and aesthetics. In the practice of the COVID-19 Pandemic, participants were given theoretical understanding and knowledge about how to play the gupekan and pepanggulan drums well. In the demonstration of the technique of playing the drum, the pangendang model was chosen which already had the ability to play the gupekan and pepanggulan drums first. The result has been able to play with drums for gupekan and pelvic drums together with quality

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini mengenai pembinaan atau pelatihan gending Banaspati dari Desa Tenganan Pegringsingan. Komposisi gending Banaspati ini merupakan gending gender terpanjang setelah gending Bimaniu yang terdiri dari 11 palet (bagian). Saat sekarang ini Gending Banaspati di Desa Tenganan Pegringsingan tidak lagi ada yang mempelajarinya karena generasi muda di sana tidak ada yang tertarik dan berminat untuk belajar menabuh gender wayang. Metode pelaksanaan dalam pembinaan ini yaitu metode demonstrasi dengan cara menceritakan dan memperagakan bagian-bagian dari Gending Banaspati. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menyelamatkan atau merekontruksi gending Banaspati sehingga tidak mengalami kepunahan. Hasil dari pembinaan ini menunjukkan Gending Banaspati dapat dikuasai dengan baik oleh peserta pelatihan di Sanggar Seni Pasraman Prabha Budaya Denpasar. Keberhasilan penguasaan gending yang tergolong panjang ini karena diterapkannya metode pelaksanaan penuangan gending yang tepat dan efektif, seperti membagi gending yang panjang menjadi phrase-phrase dan pattern-pattern. Phrase-phrase dan pattern-pattern yang menjadi vokabuler pembelajaran untuk menguasai keseluruhan lagu dan secara otomatis juga meningkatkan kemampuan teknik permainan menabuh gender wayang. Kata Kunci: Pembinaan, Gending Banaspati, Gender Wayang AbstractThis research is about the couching or training of song or gending Banaspati from Tenganan Pegringsingan Village. Gending Banaspati's composition is the longest gending gender wayang after Bimaniu consisting of 11 pallets (parts). Currently Gending Banaspati in Tenganan Pegringsingan Village is almost gone since the interest in learning of gender wayang decreasing especially for the younger generation. The method of implementation in this training is a method of demonstration by demonstrating parts of Gending Banaspati. The purpose of this study was to preserve or reconstruct gending Banaspati so that it would not be extinct.. The results of this training has shown Gending Banaspati could be mastered well by trainees in Sanggar Seni Pasraman Prabha Budaya Denpasar. The successful in mastering of this relatively long gending or song because of the appropriate application and effective methods of presenting gending, such as dividing long gending into phrases and patterns. Phrases and patterns that became learning vocabuler to master the entire gending and automatically also improved the ability of playing techniques in gender wayang . Keywords: Construction, Gending Banaspati, Gender Wayang

Abstract

ABSTRAKDesa Wisata Trangsan Kabupaten Sukoharjo, yang sudah dikenal masyarakat luas sebagai desa penghasil furnitur berbahan dasar rotan dan memiliki kulitas produk untuk ekspor. Dalam mengenalkan produk rotan sudah melalui berbagai ajang pameran tingkat nasional maupun internasional, promosi secara offline sudah dilakukan secara masif maka untuk mendukung pemasaran produk kerajianan rotan Desa Wisata Tangsan perlu melakukan promosi secara online, terlebih saat ini sudah masuk era digital atau revolusi industri 4.0. Dengan menggabungkan promosi secara offline dan online diharapkan akan meningkatkan branding dari Desa Wisata Trangsan khususnya produk kerajinan rotannya. Pada Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat oleh Dosen D3 Desain Komunikasi Visual (DKV) Sekolah Vokasi UNS dan S1 Desain Komunikasi Visual (DKV), Fakultas Seni Rupa dan Desain UNS yang tergabung dalam Grup Riset : DKV Media Interaktif, mencoba meberikan wawasan dan pelatihan tentang website katalog online sebagai sarana promosi dan penjualan secara online. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah metode ceramah dan praktik langsung yang didukung dengan demonstrasi. Melalui peragaan dapat memberikan pemahaman tentang berbagai jenis alat dan bahan yang digunakan serta teknik membuat web katalog online. Harapanya dengan adanya pelatihan ini para pelaku usaha kerajinan rotan di Desa wisata Rotan mampu membuat katalog online secara mandiri untuk mempromosikan produk- produk mereka.Kata kunci: Rotan, Promosi, Pelatihan, Website, Katalog Online  ABSTRACTTrangsan Tourism Village, Sukoharjo Regency, which is widely known to the public as a village that produces rattan-based furniture and has quality products for export. In introducing rattan products, it has been through various national and international exhibitions, offline promotions have been carried out massively, so to support the marketing of rattan handicraft products, Tangsan Tourism Village needs to do online promotions, especially now that we have entered the digital era or industrial revolution 4.0. By combining offline and online promotions, it is hoped that it will increase the branding of the Trangsan Tourism Village, especially its rattan craft products. In the Community Service Program by D3 Visual Communication Design (DKV) Lecturers, Vocational School and S1 Visual Communication Design (DKV), faculty of Art and Design Lecturers,  Sebelas Maret University Surakarta (UNS) who are members of the Research Group: DKV Interactive Media, trying to provide insight and training on online catalog websites as a means of promotion and online sales. The methods used in this Community Service activity are demonstration methods, and practical exercises supported by demonstrations. Through the demonstration can provide an understanding of the various types of tools and materials used as well as techniques for creating an online web catalog. Abstract

Penelitian PPM Tematik Individu ini merupakan program pemberdayaan masyarakat yang berpijak pada problem lingkungan saat ini dimana menumpuknya limbah yang tidak dapat terurai oleh alam seperti limbah sampah yang berbahan dasar sintetis seperti plastik dan kain. Kain perca batik yaitu kain sisa atau limbah dari konveksi, pabrik atau garmen yang memproduksi pakaian, dan lain sebagainya yang menggunakan bahan dasar kain batik. Salah satu usaha menanggulangi permasalahan lingkungan ini adalah dengan menghadirkan produk eco-fashion, salah satunya penggunaan kembali sisa produksi kain batik sebagai material utama. Penelitian ini fokus pada eksperimen teknik pembuatan produk aksesoris fashion dengan memanfaatkan limbah kain batik yang tersedia pada industri kecil. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan (research-based development), dengan tujuan terciptanya karya seni lukis batik kontemporer melalui pengembangan ide, tema, dan bentuk visual batik klasik, diterapkannya karya lukis batik kontemporer dalam sejumlah produk fashion seperti tas, pouch, dan fashion harian, terpublikasikannya artikel ilmiah dalam jurnal nasional terakreditasi. Dengan demikian akan ditemukan beragam ide, tema, bentuk, teknis, serta medium produk eco-fashion multifungsi yang sesuai dengan jiwa jaman namun tetap memiliki karakter tradisi yang kuat. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis artwork thesis depicts a multimedia performance, which combines several media such as photos, videos, sound recordings, installation, diagrams, charts, graphic design, and scientific journals, as well as digital cameras in performance-lecture. The creation practice borrowing the mode of a lecture combined with performance refers to "jek nebenne!" as the director's memory-recollection to start his work practice.The term "jek nebenne!" is not a standard language which means "don't mess with me!", it is used as the director's foothold in connecting a trauma in a family as a result of domestic violence which is reflected in the same experience of his mother, just like the experience of a female masseuse, brick miner, and farmworker for over thirty years in Bangkalan over the behavior of their respective husbands, as well as a shift of function from the feminine to the masculine. "Jek nebenne!" becomes some sort of creation reference which was often said by his mother, haunting him to this day and suspected to be the source of failure. Including the failure to integrate with the two performers who also experienced trauma (sexual and gender) until the show goes on. His position was leaked as a therapist to evacuate from the situation by sharing his sensitive emotion to the public; leaking of conflict concoction, exploration of body and ability, as well as performer's skill through medias mentioned above. The practice of performance-lecture focuses on psychodrama with a shift of dramaturgy from trauma to sensitive and intervening performer and the production team to show that domestic violence creates a prolonged scar. The director fears that the cruising range of his biography trauma will cause him to re-experience the vulnerability and leaving the audience with intricacy. The practice of such shift as a process of evacuation from acute trauma, as a continuation of "jek nebenne!" self-healing method for positive growth of the soul. Keywords: performance-lecture, "jek nebenne!", self-healing method

Abstract

ABSTRACTWomen from low-income families encounter some challenges because of their gender status. Thus, attention is required to improve women’s engagement in the socioeconomic development process, a program implemented by the government in the scope of women’s welfare. However, the program’s impact on women has not been totally positive. Providing training related to Jumputan (tie-dye) batik making is one of the alternatives for women empowerment, particularly among local housewives community (PKK) members in Perum Solo Elok, Mojosongo, Surakarta. Batik is a method of decorating cloth with dye techniques; however, in the majority of Indonesian society, the term batik refers to batik-patterned textiles or printed batik rather than actual batik. This course is intended to support attempts to preserve traditional art, particularly batik artworks. Activities are carried out in collaboration with program partners PKK Perum Solo Elok, Mojosongo, Surakarta. The approach used to carry out this introductory activity prioritizes participant and mentor activeness, which is supported by the use of media and effective and efficient training models, with the goal of training materials being well accepted by trainees, who are PKK members. In accordance with this, the program design, particularly this creative workshop, refers to David Gibson’s concept of design phases divided into three broad groups: planning, design, and implementation. The stages of activity implementation include three methods: mutual approach, personal approach, and partnership approach. This skill is to add a variety of skills to partners in order to develop a hobby and business related to tie-dye batik.

Abstract

The phenomenon of coastal sintren performing arts in the border areas of West Java (Cirebon and Indramayu) and Central Java (Brebes, Tegal, Pemalang) which has local genius by carrying out cultural transformations between traditions and mystical traditional arts transforming with modern culture as an effect of urban culture, finally with the transformation of culture will be transformed into urban culture. The problems that exist in the Sintren Pesisitran art community include: (1) the lack of support for the development and preservation of coastal traditional arts, (2) How the art of performing the Coastal Sintren can holistically rediscover the essence of aspects of cultural expression and the development of other creative aspects. This empowerment program is carried out through various mentoring programs including; (1) empowering creative human resources, (2) choreography training, musical instruments, (3) costume assistance for several Sintren Pesisiran communities. The results of community empowerment assistance, including: The performing arts of coastal sintren can be studied holistically, aspects of art as expression, art as pragmatics, anthropological and sociological studies. Pragmatically, this typical coastal art performs practical activities for various aspects of interest. It was then realized by the performing arts community that their creative activities are not just expressions. Social aspects are also interpreted more broadly when we look at the educational aspect, of course with multidimensional and multi-interpreted discourses.
