Abstract

Abstract: The Effect of Hots Learning-Based Talking Stick  Learning Model on  Student Activities and Learning Outcomes.  This study aims to find out an overview of the activities and use of the HOTS learning-based Talking Stick learning model and find out the influence of the HOTS learning-based Talking Stick learning model on students' thematic learning activities and learning outcomes of grade IV students of SD Negeri Daya 2 Makassar. This research approach uses a quantitative approach A type of quasi-experimental research with a pretest-posttest control group design system where there are two classes used. The experimental class uses a HOTS-based talking stick learning model and a control class that does not use a HOTS-based talking stick learning model. The results showed that there were significant differences in Thematic learning activities and student Thematic learning outcomes between students who studied with HOTS learning-based Talking Stick learning and students who studied with conventional learning models in grade IV students of SDN Daya 2 Makassar. In Thematic learning activities, students obtained results of 7,779 > 2,160 based on an independent t test with a significant level of 0.05, while in Thematic learning outcomes students obtained a score of 4,754 > 2,160 based on the results of calculating posttest data using an independent t test.

Abstract

Abstract: Code Mixing in the Learning Process at Padang Laweh 12 Public Elementary School, Sijunjung Regency. The purpose of this study is to describe the forms and factors that cause code mixing in the learning process at Padang Laweh 12 Public Elementary School, Sijunjung Regency. This type of research is qualitative research. The research method uses descriptive method. The data in this study are words, phrases, clauses in the learning process at Padang Laweh 12 Public Elementary School, Sijunjung Regency. The sources in this study are audio and video recordings in the process. The results of the research that has been done, found 86 code mixing data in the learning process at Padang Laweh 12 Public Elementary School, Sijunjung Regency. Of the 86 data found, there were 35 mixed code words such as no, okay, uwang, kecek, rest, reminded, ado, there, etc., 32 mixed code phrases such as alhamdulillah, allhu akbar, what did you check mom earlier?, bakpo wak , cubo baco, and others, and 18 code mixing clauses such as ha kambiongmelompek pageg jie serli, how come you can't wak kluag de, and others. In this study, there is also code mixing based on its nature, namely internal (internal) code mixing such as Indonesian to Minangkabau and vice versa and external (external) code mixing such as Indonesian to Arabic and vice versa. The causes of code-mixing are the speaker or speaker's personal factors, function and purpose factors, and the factor of arousing a sense of humor with jokes (funny impression).

Abstract

Abstrak: Management of the Learning Environment Regarding Educational Game Tools (APE) to Increase Learning Interest in Khalifa Kindergarten.  This study aims to increase interest in learning in early childhood through the use of educational support tools using descriptive qualitative research methods. The data collection technique carried out by researchers is by conducting interviews with the Principal of Khalifah Kindergarten by filling out questionnaires. The purpose of using educational support tools (APE) in Khalifah Kindergarten is to increase interest in learning in students. APE can help increase students' motivation and interest in learning through more engaging and interactive ways. Some of the benefits of using APE include; Enriching the learning experience, APE can provide a more varied and interesting learning experience, so that students can be more involved in the teaching-learning process; Increasing creativity and imagination, namely APE can trigger the creativity and imagination of students by presenting more visual and interactive material; Improving memory i.e. APE can help learners to more easily remember the information provided, due to the use of more interesting visuals and audio; Increase participation, namely APE can increase student participation in the teaching-learning process, because the material presented is more interesting and interactive. In the context of Khalifa Kindergarten, the use of APE can help increase students' interest in learning, especially for material that is difficult to understand in conventional ways. With the use of APE, students can learn more enjoyably and experience a more varied learning experience. As a result, it is expected that students' interest in learning can increase and create a more active and dynamic learning atmosphere.

Abstract

Abstract: The Style of Affirmation Language in Andrea Hirata's Big Book of Coffee Drinkers. This study aimsto find out the style of affirmative language in the novel The Big Book of Coffee Drinkers by Andrea Hirata. The type of research used in this study uses qualitative research methods, emphasizes more on the ways of interpretation presented in the form of descriptions, qualitative research focuses more on scientific data, qualitative research methods to describe and explain the meaning in literary works, the novel Buku Besar Peminum Kopi by Andrea Hirata . The results of this study show that in this literary work the author uses the stylistic style of affirmation, namely, pleonasm, repetition and rhetoric, and climax.

Abstract

Abstract: Methods of Recognizing Gender Concepts and Roles (Penerang) through Videos and Posters as an Effort to Prevent Sexual Violence in Early Childhood. Basically, parents want the best for their children, one of which is the desire for children to grow and develop according to their expectations and be able to carry out roles according to their gender. This study aims to introduce gender concepts and roles in early childhood (PAUD) at Az- Zehan Kindergarten. The implementation of activities is carried out using the direct observation method. The stages of implementation consist of analyzing children's needs, preparation, implementation (initial evaluation, material provision and final evaluation). The results showed that in the initial evaluation there were still 7 students who needed teacher assistance to recognize their gender concept. After being given material and explanations, all students were able to recognize their self-concept even though there were some who were still hesitant.

Abstract

Abstract : The Influence of Intensity Use of Gadgets on Learning Interests of Mi/SD Students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the intensity of using gadgets on students' learning interest. This research is a research using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods on the intensity of gadget use as the independent variable and interest in learning as the dependent variable. The research data was obtained using literature study techniques. From various sources, there are negative and positive impacts that can be taken from using gadgets. From the analysis of the sources of using gadgets it is very influential for students' learning interest, if children make good use of gadgets to find information about lessons, students' interest in learning will increase because gadget features help students to learn, while the intensity of excessive use of gadgets will make students not interested. in learning because of addiction to gadgets.

Abstract

Abstract: Application of Direct Object Observation Method in the Classroom in Improving Free Poetry Writing Skills in Junior High School. This study aims to determine the implementation of the method of observing objects directly in class in improving the ability to write free poetry in junior high school. This research approach uses a qualitative approach with the type of classroom action research using research procedures including: planning, implementing actions, observation and reflection. The location of this research was carried out at SMP Negeri 5 Mandai. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning activities from cycle I to cycle II, namely the increase in the number of students in listening to teacher explanations, asking questions, answering questions, student learning outcomes also increased, namely the total score obtained in cycle I of 555 and in cycle II of 958. So that the application of the direct object method can improve student learning outcomes in junior high school.
