Abstract

One of the efforts to improve the quality of education is the application of a curriculum that is in accordance with the needs and developments of the times. Reality shows that the practice of national education with a curriculum that is made and structured in such a way has even been refined many times, has not been able to present an Indonesian human figure with a complete personality.Efforts to achieve the quality of education as expected by all components of the nation have been carried out, including by issuing various policies that support both from an institutional perspective, human resources and the operationalization of quality implementation in schools and madrasas, including Law no. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, Law no. 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers and PP No. 19 of 2005 concerning National Education Standards, and most recently the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 28 of 2016 which states that Education Quality Assurance is a systematic, integrated and sustainable mechanism to ensure that the entire process the implementation of education is in accordance with quality standards. Islamic boarding school-based schools such as MA Al-Masthuriyah, MA Sunanul Huda and MA Al-Amin in Sukabumi Regency implement education by combining general education and religious education into one curriculum building. With this approach, all formal school subjects and activities cannot be separated from the frame of teachings and messages of Islamic values. There is no dichotomy, separation, and secularization where lessons and all discussions are separated from Islamic values and teachings, or "sacredization" where Islam is taught regardless of the context of the benefit of present and future life. Based on the phenomenon above, the researcher is interested in conducting research on the Application of Islamic Boarding School-Based National Curriculum Management to Improve the Quality of Madrasah Aliyah (Analytical Descriptive Study at MA Al-Masthuriyah, MA Sunanul Huda and MA Al-Amin, Sukabumi Regency). This study aims to examine the management of the implementation of the national curriculum at Islamic boarding schools based on Madrasah Aliyah. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The method used is descriptive analytical method, in which the researcher will describe and then analyze in depth the research findings. Sallis stated, to measure quality education, of course, criteria/indicators are needed. Sallis revealed that there are many indicators of good quality in educational institutions, including: 1) upholding moral values; 2) very satisfactory test results; 3) support from parents, place of business and the surrounding environment; 4) abundant resources; 5) application of the latest technology; 6) strong leadership and clear vision; 7) care and concern for students; 8) a balanced and relevant curriculum. Based on the findings, interpretations and discussion, the general conclusion regarding Management of Implementation of the National Curriculum Based on Islamic Boarding School Education at MA Al-Masthuriyah, MA Sunanul Huda, MA Al Amin has been implemented, but has not yet had an optimal impact. The management of implementing the national curriculum based on Islamic boarding schools is still constrained by internal and external constraints. The internal obstacle is the low understanding, skills and motivation to make improvements to the curriculum itself because the teacher's understanding of the integrated curriculum is still not optimal. External constraints are also marked by the low level of supervision from the local Ministry of Religion.

Abstract

A company's ability to maximize revenue while making the best use of its resources is referred to as profitability. It is stated that good profitability can improve a company's performance and draw in stakeholders. Technology limitations and a lack of human resource potential have led to a heavy reliance on imported pharmaceutical raw materials, which can result in high production costs and operating expenses that have an impact on a company's profitability. This demonstrates that the firm must efficiently manage its production costs, operational costs, and intellectual capital in to maximize the firm ’s potential and enhance profitability. Therefore, the goal of this study is to ascertain the impact of intellectual capital, production costs, and operating costs on profitability in the Pharmaceutical Sub-Sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the years 2017 through 2021. A corporation in the pharmaceutical industry that is listed on the IDX between 2017 and 2021 is the object of this research. In this study, 44 observation data were collected over 5 years from 9 corporations after issuing outlier data using the purposive sampling method. Panel data regression analysis with the EViews 12 program is the data analysis technique employed. The results of this study show that intellectual capital as measured by VAIC has a positive and significant effect on profitability. Meanwhile, production costs and operational costs partially do not affect profitability. Companies in the pharmaceutical sub-sector are expected to maintain profitability by utilizing their assets to obtain maximum profit. Additionally, risks that impact the loss in profitability in terms of the company's internal and external operations are cautioned against by advisors to businesses.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the SIUUL Model which was carried out in the MC training for English education study program students at Panca Sakti University Bekasi. Using a qualitative descriptive research method. Data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. Research subjects were students majoring in the English education study program at Panca Sakti University Bekasi. The results of the study found that the MC training in the English education study program at Panca Sakti University had well implemented the SIUUL model in accordance with the principles and stages of the model.

Abstract

The formation of a caring character for the environment can be started from the school environment by maintaining the cleanliness of the school. By getting used to students taking care of the school environment, students will care about the environment around them. The purpose of this study was toanalyze  1) the process of implementing the Clean Saturday program; and 2) the implications of the Clean Saturday program on the caring character of buildings for the environment. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research subjects were 20 students of class VI. The research location was at the Santa Lucia Sei Rotan Private Elementary School. Data collection techniques in this study were participant observation, study documentation, and questionnaires. In this study it was found that 1) the process of implementing Clean Saturday, namely routine collaborative activities, was carried out on Saturday at 12:00 WIB cleaning the school environment with an estimated time of 15-30 minutes and accompanied by the teacher; 2) the implications of the Clean Saturday Program in the formation of students' character seen from the questionnaire filled out by respondents, namely students answered Strongly Agree (19,5 %), Agree (48 %), Disagree (23,5%), Strongly Disagree  (9%).The results showed the percentage of 72.5% of students answered correctly and 27.5% of students answered incorrectly. This data shows that there is an implication of the Clean Saturday program carried out by the Santa Lusia Sei Rotan Private Elementary School for the development of environmental care characters. Therefore, the Clean Saturday program can be used as an alternative for the formation of students' environmental care characters.

Abstract

Financial technology as a service innovation in the financial industry has become a means of transaction in the rapidly growing buying and selling transactions. Besides, it has become one of the alternative means of payment for consumers. This opportunity can be used as a business development opportunity for financial services for financial business providers.  Changes in the transition from conventional payments to payments using financial technology services are influenced by various factors that support changes in transaction activities.  This study aims to determine the factors influencing payment transaction activities, from conventional payments to payments using financial technology services. The research methodology involves various variables involved in it by using the factor analysis approach to determine factors that support the achievement of research objectives. It is supported by a sample of 100 respondents with various representative sample criteria to explain each factor involved in the research. The research results show that the transition of payment transaction activities from conventional methods to payment transactions with financial technology services is influenced by various variables. The variables included are information system flexibility, ideal, and value for use, ability, comfort, safety, interaction, activity, and length of transaction time.

Abstract

One of the industries that can expand quickly in Indonesia is the food and beverage sector. This study aims to identify the impact of asset management and intellectual capital on financial performance. The population of this study is Food and Beverage Subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2018 to 2021. This study used the purposive sampling method so that 19 companies were obtained for four consecutive years. The data was tested by using the panel data regression analysis method. The independent variables of this study are Intellectual Capital proxied with VAIC and Asset Management proxied with TATO. ROA is used in this study as a proxy for financial performance, the dependent variable. This study demonstrates how intellectual capital affects financial performance favorably. In the meantime, asset management has no significant impact on financial performance.

Abstract

Pandemic Covid 19 changes many aspects of life. Many employees have to work from home (WFH) to reduce the spread of Covid19. This research is aimed to analyze the influence of remote working, work stress, work-family conflict, and workload on womens work-life balance. This study took quantitative data by using the SEMPLS method with 275 respondents. From this research, we found that all variables are having a direct and indirect effect on Work-Life Balance. All companies must maintain the work-life balance of women employees

Abstract

This study seeks to investigate the political communication of the Indonesian Wave of the People Party (Gelora) in Medan City. As expected, the purpose of political recruitment is to address the human resource demands of political parties. This recruiting contributes to the fulfillment of the Election Law's standards, making Gelora an appropriate party in the future. This work use qualitative research and descriptive analysis as its methodology and methodology, respectively. The findings of this study indicate that, in order to attract members, the DPD Gelora City of Medan uses various political communications, including mass communication, marketing communication, interpersonal communication, and organizational communication, to shape its image and public opinion. Second, Gelora's member recruitment process is public and governed by established norms. The registration procedure can be completed immediately by visiting the Gelora secretariat, online via the website or application, or by registering with the internal administration of Gelora. Thirdly, Gelora's recruitment of members is bolstered by a number of elements, including the group's constant appearance of cohesion and its concern for those affected by calamity. Fourth, the recruitment of members by Gelora is hindered by a number of issues, including the disinterest of some individuals in Gelora, the tug-of-war in the recruitment of community leaders, and the lack of public interest in politics.

Abstract

Technological advancements fueled by the internet revolution have transformed the financial services industry's image, resulting in modifications to electronic financial services. These service changes can be seen in almost all forms of financial services, such as banking, insurance, and stock trading, which are carried out using electronic media, such as E-wallets services. This study's primary goal is to discover how the Millennial generation uses digital wallet applications in terms of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, trust, social influence. This study utilized a quantitative method using exploratory surveys and online questionnaires, as well as a literature and field research design. This study employs the Smart PLS program with the PLS-SEM approach for data analysis. Data was collected using non-probability sampling using a purposive sampling approach, yielding a sample size of 146 respondents for this research. This research provides information about the behavior of using digital wallet applications, which are significantly controlled by perceived ease of use, trust, and social influence. Furthermore, the Perceived Usefulness factor does not significantly impact the behavior of using digital wallet applications. These findings highlight the importance of trust as a motivator for customers when utilizing an E-Wallet application. It is preferable to expand the number of study samples in order to appropriately generalize findings, as well as to include research factors that are believed to influence behavioral intention to use. This research will look at the effects of perceived ease of use, perceived utility, trust, and social influence on Generation Millennial behavior when it comes to using digital wallets.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of intellectual capital and executive compensation on financial performance in Basic Materials Sector Companies listed on the IDX based on financial statement data for 201 8-2021. The data was tested using the panel data regression method. The population used is Basic Materials Sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2018-2021. This study used purposive sampling method and obtained 35 companies during 4 years of observation. The results of this study show that intellectual capital as measured by VAIC has a positive and significant effect on financial performance and partial executive compensation also affects financial performance. Companies in the basic materials sector are expected to provide internal evaluations to maximize the management of intellectual capital owned and the efficiency of using company assets to improve financial performance in order to be able to foster competition in companies in the basic materials sector. Issuers should also take into account the level of executive compensation for key management in order to advance the financial performance of an issuer by (agent).
