Abstract

This research is aimed to identify the effect of advance organizer learning model through video learning towards physics learning outcome of second grade students MIA SMAN 2 Labuapi. Advance Organizer is a learning model which consists of 3 phases: presentation of Advance Organizer, presentation of learning assignment or learning of material, and strengthen the cognitive structure. There are three domains of learning objective concerned in the study, which are, first cognitive aspect from C1 until C6 (knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation), second is affective aspect and the last is psychomotor aspect. The student cognitive learning outcome was done by using objective test. Based on data analysis, t count > t table, as the result, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted that there was the influence of advance organizer learning model through video learning towards physics learning outcome of  second grade students MIA SMAN 2 Labuapi.

Abstract

Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) based film polymers that contain trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and methylene blue (MB) dye has been synthesized. The synthesis aimed to obtain material that can be applied as film dosimeter. Six PVA-TCA-MB thin film samples have been synthsized by varying PVA grades and TCA composition. Characterization of optical property of the resulted polymer was undertaken by measuring samples absorption within wavelength range of 200 nm to 700 nm.  Absorption spectrum of samples showed an optimum between 547-644 nm that corresponds to purple colour and characteristic to MB absoption. Further analysis showed the influence of TCA concentration and storage periode of the polymer. Optimization of syntesis by evaluating synthesis condition, heating and storage time is yet to be done in order to obtain polymer that can be used as dosimeter with reproducible optical property.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a physics learning tools with Moodle that can be used on students in physics courses. The type of this research is Research and Development (R & D). Research and Development is a process or steps to develop a new product or refine an existing product, which can be accounted for. Broadly speaking, the R & D’s steps consisted of three stages, namely: preliminary study, design/model development, and model testing. The subject of this research is a student of Department of Physics Education at FPMIPA IKIP Mataram who is studying at Odd Semester Academic Year 2016/2017. Based on the validation of physics learning tools with Moodle, it obtained products that have been validated with a good categorized score and can be used for the next stage. The development of Moodle-based learning tools developed was complemented by textbooks, Moodle guides, and assessment instruments.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of guided inquiry learning model toward concept mastery and critical thinking ability of physics of X grade students of SMAN 1 Kuripan in academic year 2017/2018. This research was an experimental research with post test only control group design. The population of this research was X MIA students consicted of 3 classes with the total number of the students was 30 for each class. The sample was chosen using cluster random sampling technique. Technique of collecting data of the mastery concept and critical thinking ability using essay test. Gained data was analyzed using manova test. The result of hypotesis test showed , so it was concluded that there was an effect of guided inquiry learning wodel on the mastery of concept and critical thinking ability of physics of X grade students of SMAN 1 Kuripan in academic year 2017/2018.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of generative learning with guided teaching technique towards science process skills of students high school 7 Mataram. This research is a quasi-experimental with non-equivalent control group design. Population in research is all students class X of high school 7 Mataram. Sampling method is cluster random sampling, with students sample of X-E class (class experiment) and X-C class (class control). Instruments used to measure of the science process skill is a multiple-choice grounded test. The initial ability of the experimental and control classes is homogeneous, so the effect of treatment is the result of the final test. Test the hypothesis using the t-test polled variants. Improved science process skills are determined based on the N-gain test. Interesting findings from the study indicate an increase in the science process skills in both classes. This show the generative learning with guided teaching techniques were applied successfully improve science process skills.

Abstract

Computer technology can be used in learning assessment activities, commonly called e-assessment. Assessment is an important part of learning. This study aims to develop an e-assessment model using Leraning management System (LMS) based on Moodle. This development research uses DDD-E model, including decision, design, develop and evaluate. Development of e-assesement using Moodle 3.3 software. This model produces e-assessment products that can be accessed online and can help learners in evaluating their learning outcomes independently. In addition, this model also encourages motivation and problem solving in the given lesson.

Abstract

Research on the manufacture of composite particle board based on natural fiber: coconut fiber (SSK) and banana fiber (SBP) by using PVAc matrix has been conducted. The purpose of this research is to get the physical and mechanical value of standard on composite board based on SNI03-2105-2006The research method is by taking the comparison of banana fiber reinforcing material (SBP) and coco fiber (SSK) in the form of particle size with composition ie (a) SBP 0%: SKK 100% (b) SBP 50%: SKK 50%, (c) SBP 80%: SSK 20, (d) SBP 60%: SSK 40%, (e) SBP 40%: SSK 60%, (f) SBP 20%: SKK 80%, and (g) SBP 100%: SSK 0%.All composite boards consist of 70 % Matrix and 30% fiber. The result of physical properties for density (ρ) ranges from 0.54 gr / cm3 - 0.75 gr / cm3 and for water content (KA) ranges from 10.5% - 13.9%.As for the mechanical properties of the value of modulus rupture (MOR) ranged between 3483.44 kgf / cm2 - 7472,30 kgf / cm2 and elastic modulus value (MOE) ranged between 15981.23 kgf / cm2 - 27243,74 kgf / cm2. Based on the analysis of tredline graphs, both for physical and mechanical properties, it turns out for each composition of natural fibers to give different values.This means that the composition of the SSK-SBP mixture has an influence on the physical properties as well as the mechanical properties of the composite board. The quality of natural fiber-based composite board (SSK and SBP) both physical and mechanical properties have been in accordance with the standard reference SNI 03-02105-2006.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of expository learning model scaffolding assisted and advance organizer toward physics learning outcome the students of class X. This is a quasi experiment with pretest-postest control group design. The population of this research is all students of class X IPA SMAN 4 Mataram. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. There are two samples taken that is sample as a class given treatment in the form of learning using scaffolding expository aided learning model (class X IPA 1) and classes treated using expository learning model assisted advance organizer (class X IPA 2). The data of learning outcome is obtained by using the multiple-choice test of 25 questions. After hypothesis testing using statistical test (t-test separated varian). The first hypothesis testing showed that tcount > ttable which means that Ho1 is rejected and Ha1 is accepted. The second hypothesis testing showed that, tcount > ttable which means that Ho2 is rejected and Ha2 is accepted. Based on the hypothesis test, it can be concluded that there is effect of expository learning model with scaffolding and advance organizer to the physics learning outcome of students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of advanced organizer learning model using concept mapping on student’s physics learning achievement SMA Negeri 1 Lingsar. This research type is quasi experiment with pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study is all students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Lingsar with sampling technique using purposive sampling. The classes that sampled are class XI IPA 2 as experiment class and class XI IPA 1 as control class. The results of study are learning outcome in the cognitive aspect while affective and psychomotor aspect as supporting data. The instrument was used to measure the learning outcome of the cognitive aspect is an objective test. The result of prerequisite analysis test shows that posttest data are normal and homogeneous distributed so that statistic test used is parametric statistic t-test poled varian with t test criteria of two parties, and obtained = 2.19 and  = 1.99 at 5% significant level. Therefore  >   then  is rejected and  is accepted, it can be concluded that there is the effect of advanced organizer learning model using concept mapping on student’s physics learning achievement SMA Negeri 1 Lingsar.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and produce teaching materials compilation of mathematical physics II on the subject of differential equations. Teaching materials that have been developed in the form of teaching modules. The research method used is a development study consisting of four stages: the stage of determination, design, development, and disseminate. The results obtained from this research are in the form of teaching module of mathematical physics II differential equation and its application. The teaching module generated in terms of feasibility aspects of content, presentation, and linguistics obtained amean score is 92.5 with a percentage is 79.74%. This shows that the teaching module that has been created as good and feasible to use. It can be categorized effective as measured by the impact of student activities, responses, and value of students reasoning abilities. The impact of student activity seen during the learning process after using the module is 73.59% and the student activity is categorized much or quite practical. The percentage of students' response after using the module was 80.1% and categorized well. The impact on the mathematical reasoning ability meanscore of the class 70.87.  This shows that the teaching module that has been created can be  categorizedeffetive. Thus, it can be concluded that the teaching module compilation of mathematical physics II the subject of differential equations and their applications can be said to be effective and feasible to use.
