Abstract

The research is entitled “The Effect of Leadership and Motivation towards Employees Performance ( A Comparative Study at RSUD Banyumas, RS Sinar Kasih, PT.PLN and PDAM Banyumas Regency). The limitation on research problems are: 1) Research at RSUD Banyumas couldn’t be done because of difficulties in getting the data, 2) The research was carried out during August till September 2009.The research has the aims to find out and analyze:1) The effect of tranformational, transactional and laissez faire leadership towards employees motivational Sinar Kasih Hospital (Private Company), PT. PLN (Persero (BUMN), and PDAM (BUMD). 2) The effect of transformational, transactional and laissez faire leadership towards employees performance at Sinar Kasih Hospital (Private Company), PT. PLN (Persero (BUMN), and PDAM (BUMD). 3) The effect of motivation towards employees performance at Sinar Kasih Hospital (Private Company), PT. PLN (Persero (BUMN), and PDAM (BUMD). 4) The leadership applied at Sinar Kasih Hospital (Private Company), PT. PLN (Persero (BUMN), and PDAM (BUMD) among transformational, transactional and laissez faire leadership. The research populations are all employees who work at the research object companies with the sample is as minimum as 20% selected randomly. The method of analysis is Multiple Regression Analysis Method. The research populations are all employees who work at the research object companies with the sample is as minimum as 20% selected randomly. The method of analysis is Multiple Regression Analysis Method.The result of research analysis shows that:1. In total transformational, transactional, and laissez faire leadership have an effect on employees motivation and performance at RS Sinar Kasih Purwokerto.2. At PT.PLN (Persero) APJ Purwokerto, in total transformational, transactional, and laissez faire leadership only have an effect on employees job motivation3. In PDAM (BUMD) Banyumas Regency in total transaformational, transactional and laissez faire leadership have an effect on employees motivation and performance.4. Based on research analysis, it can be found that the leadership style applied at RS Sinar Kasih Purwokerto and PT. PLN (APJ) Purwokerto and PT. PLN (APJ) Purwokerto is transformational style and PDAM (BUMD) Banyumas Regency applies transactional style. Finally the result of research implies that:1. Even in total transformational, transactional and laissez faire leadership give significant effect towards employees motivation and performance, but for themanagement of RS Sinar Kasih it can focus on increasing its motivation and performance through the application of transformational leadership style.2. Transformational, transactional and laissez faire leadership styles at PT.PLN (Persero) Purwokerto give an effect on job motivation but it cannot increase employees performance. For this purpose the management of PT.PLN (Persero) APJ Purwokerto must pay attention on the leadership style applied by the company so far.3. The existence of transformational, transactional and laissez faire leadership in affecting employees motivation and performance at PDAM Banyumas Regency must get management attention to maintain and increase leader’s potency available so far.

Abstract

The study titled "Impact On Financial Ratios Share Price Manufacturing Company of Go Public In Indonesia Stock Exchange". Aiming to know and analyze the influence of leverage ratios, liquidity ratios, profitability ratios of stock prices in manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange. Population in this research are all manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange since 2004 until 2006, where the sample is taken by the method of purposive sampling. 154 companies selected from 57 companies that made the research sample. This research method Partial Least Square Regression (PLS regression).The results of this study indicate that 1) the leverage ratio on a proxy with Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and a significant negative impact on stock prices, 2) liquidity ratio on a proxy with Quick Ratio (QR) do not have real impact on stock prices, 3) ratio of activity which on a proxy with Inventory Activity (IA) and a significant positive impact on stock prices and Sales to Current Assets (SCA) does not have real impact on stock prices, 4) profitability ratio which on a proxy with Return On Equity (ROE) and a significant positive impact on stock prices.The results imply that 1) investors should consider leverage (represented by the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), the ratio of activity especially Inventory Activity (IA), and profitability ratios in the form of Return On Equity (ROE) in predicting stock prices that will be used to invest , 2) For further research is recommended to use the proxy financial ratios more complete

Abstract

Research on the orientation of the strategy with the environment have been carried out by previous researchers, but still produces a variety of findings, in addition to the research is generally done in large companies. Therefore, research on strategic orientation fit and environment in small and medium-sized companies that use environmental typology of Dess and Beard, (1984) still needs to be done.

Abstract

The aims of this research are to analyses Perceived Ease to Use and Perceived usefulness to use internet. This research used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) with responder SLTP and SLTA teachers in Purwokerto.Results of these research are that perceived ease to use have not effect to intention to use, while perceived usefulness to use internet have effect to intention to use.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze in depth how the strategic management of early childhood in North Purwokerto district Banyumas. The strategy used in this research is case study. The data required is about the history and development of early childhood up, Vision, Mission, Goals and strategies, early childhood programs, data on the implementation of early childhood, data on customer satisfaction. These data were collected through interviews, observation and questionnaires. Based on data analysis and discussion, concluded that the strategic formulation in early childhood usually do not go well. The study also concluded that the performance aspects of early childhood visits from satisfied customers (parents) in general is good. This study provides implications, the need for long-term strategy formulation, or surveys of consumers with different indicators.

Abstract
