Abstract

Biogas is a raw material utilized to produced biogas. Biogas is renewable energy source produced by the anaerobic activity of organic matter through the fermentation process. Quality of biogas is determined by its main composition, such as methane (CH4). In addition, the composition of biogas also contains impurities such as unburnt carbon dioxide (CO2) so that it reduces the heating value, hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and water vapor (H2O) which are corrosive as well as Nitrogen (N2). Adsorption method on the impurity compositions can be used to improve biogas quality. This research used a column purifier containing four adsorbents in the form of calcium hydroxide Ca(OH)2, iron gram (Fe2(O3)), zeolite and activated carbon with three volume variations 600 cm3, 900 cm3 and 1200 cm3. The results of biogas testing using gas chromatography showed that the best quality obtained from the 1200 cm3 volume of adsorbent. Methane content was increased up to 17.985% and the impurity gases were decreased, such as carbon dioxide in as much as 18.15%, hydrogen sulfide and water vapor in as much as 0.182%. The heat produced by unpurified biogas was 1518.312 kJ/m3 and the highest heating value after purification was 2108.22 kJ/m3. The biogas combustion resulted in a dominant blue flame color. The most optimum effectiveness of the technology resulted in an increase of the methane content up to 64.275%. Based on this research, the utilization of column purifier with the adsorption method was able to improve the quality of biogas

Abstract

One type of alternative fuel that has the potential to be developed and can contribute significantly to the NRE mix is biomass. The significance of the energy mix is obtained from the use of the co-firing system at the Coal-Fired Power Plant (CFPP) by mixing coal fuel with biomass such as sawdust. Sawdust biomass as cofiring material for CFPP is very efficient because it has energy content and availability that is easy to manage. The aim of this research is to make technical and economic analysis of sawdust biomass as solid fuel for pulverized coal CFPP Co-firing type boiler. The research stages are mapping the potential of sawdust biomass to determine the availability of potential biomass around the location of the co-firing, analyze the technical side and specifications contained in sawdust biomass raw materials to determine the suitability or feasibility of pulverized coal type CFPP specifications, and analyze the economic feasibility of developing sawdust biomass processing technology to determine the cost of production of sawdust biomass so that later it will not have a technical and financial impact. The results of the economic analysis show that the sawdust biomass production business is feasible with NPV parameters > IDR 5,252,097,371, IRR=11.1% and payback period=7.7 years. Provided that if the PLTU Rembang buys biomass at a price of Rp. 862,730/Ton. Sensitivity analysis is used to determine the steps to optimize the adjustment of the ability to purchase biomass from CFPP Rembang where the reference limit for the highest reference price for biomass is IDR 782,006. Efforts that can be made to adjust the ability to purchase biomass from the CFPP Rembang include increasing the yield by 20% or reducing the price of wood by 20%.

Abstract

Since the inactivity of the Bingkuang Regional Terminal in 2009, the city of Padang no longer has a bus terminal, which causes many shadow terminals in the city of Padang. In 2021, the Type A Terminal in Padang City was completed and tested immediately since not October 2021. However, since the trial until now this terminal is still quiet for buses and the public to visit. Then in 2021, the Type A Terminal in Padang City was completed and tested immediately since not October 2021. However, since the trial until now this terminal is still quiet for buses and the public to visit. Anak Air Type A Terminal is still quiet due to its location which is far from the city center, and access to the Anak Air Type A Terminal is considered quite difficult. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the perception of the Trans Padang bus driver on the location of the Anak Air Type A Terminal and the completeness of the facilities it has. The standard used in this study is the Decree of the Director General of Land Transportation No. 31 of 1995 concerning Road Transportation Terminals. The purpose of this study was to find out and provide the opinion of bus drivers on the existence of Anak Air Type A Terminal in Padang City and determine the feasibility of the Anak Aia Terminal based on the facilities it has. The method used in this research is qualitative type. The sample in this study was the Trans Padang bus driver. The data were collected by using interview techniques with Trans Padang bus drivers who enter the Anak Air Type A Terminal every day, observations at the terminal location to record the facilities that this terminal already has and documentation in the form of photographs. The results of the research that has been carried out through interviews with Trans Padang bus drivers found 3 keywords, namely the location of the terminal which is considered appropriate, access to the terminal is difficult to pass and there are still many facilities that are not yet available at Anak Air Type A Terminal.

Abstract

The increasing use and use of electricity in Indonesia causes the potential for greater losses in the transmission and distribution system. This causes many problems that arise, one of which is the corona in the transmission and distribution system. Corona mapping can only be detected through several ways, namely sound, light and distinctive smell. In this thesis, the aim is to detect the corona with the characteristics of a distinctive sense of smell, then the results of the detection are compared with the calculated corona losses. This distinctive odor is the smell of ozone which is produced from ionization at high voltage with the surrounding air, namely oxygen to form ozone molecules that are not permanent. The metal electrode to be tested is the copper tip metal. After testing the voltage of the appearance of the corona occurs at 7kV, high voltage when testing the tip of the copper metal point at a voltage of 21 kV is greater than the corona losses. The greater the voltage, the greater the corona losses generated.

Abstract

This research is based on changes in consumer behavior in deciding to purchase hotel room services in West Sumatra, post-covid-19 consumer behavior has an impact on hoteliers in determining marketing strategies, this study aims to see the relationship between variables, namely E-Service Quality on purchasing decisions and see the effect of the E-wom variable as a moderator on purchasing decisions. This research was conducted in West Sumatra with a sample of 120 hotel guests, using a purposive sampling technique, where the sample was determined by the criteria of having stayed at a hotel and making hotel room reservations online. This study uses the help of PLS techniques to determine the inner and outer variables, where the variables measured are E-Service quality, Purchase Decision, E-WOM as a moderating variable. The results show that E-Service Quality has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions and E-WOM moderates E-Service quality significantly positive on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The industrial revolution era has significantly impacted Indonesian education's development. Education is not only monotonous to study students but also provides opportunities to develop themselves according to their interests and talents. In this lecture, students' practicum products usually only become waste and are not yet suitable for use and even worth selling. The researcher plans to develop a Wood Construction Application learning with a product-based learning approach combined with SKKNI no. 61 of 2021, the wood furniture industry standard. This research is essential to find the most suitable strategy or practice in the Wood Construction Applications lecture. This study aims to develop learning based on the wood furniture industry with a product-based learning approach. The type of research used is research and development with the ADDIE model. The targeted outputs are in the form of books. The experimental and control classes' results of the pretest and post-test obtained an average result of pretest 20 and post-test of 93.31. In the control class, the average results of the pretest were 22.5, and the post-test was 73.38. While the results of the N-Gain value in the experimental and control classes, the experimental class obtained a value of 0.92 with a high category. In the control class, a score of 0.65 is included in the medium category.
