Abstract

Abstract. PT. Nusa Alam Lestari is a coal mine located in Salak village, Talawi sub-district, Sawahlunto city, West Sumatra Province. In 2006-2011, the mining system used was open pit mining, but at the end of 2011 mining continued with the underground mining system. Former mine open disposal used to be on the upper side of tunnel C2 which affected production from underground mines, is former disposal area slope condition (section A – A’) unstable so that landslides occurred in December 2019 of soil and rock has weakened material are identified in tht form of an avalanche arc. Slope geometry after landslide were slope height (H) = 35,7 meter, dip (α) = 70o, and bench width (L) = 13 meter.The method used in this research are the bishop method and hoek and bray method. The results from this research can conclued another thing follows. Data from laboratory tests were unit weight (γdry) = 18,06 kN/m3, unit weight (γsat) = 19,99 kN/m3, Cohession (C) = 18 kN/m2, and phi (φ) = 34o. And result from back analysis in landslide were (C) = 16 kN/m2, (φ) = 30o, (γ) = 14 kN/m3. Safety factor value before landslide used material properties from test laboratory in dry condition FK = 0,702 and in saturated condition FK = 0,676, whereas base on back analysis in dry condition FK = 0,667 and in the wet condition FK = 0,607. Slope geometri reccomendation by simplified bishop and safety factor value got are overall slope in the dry condition, H = 35,7 meter, L =13 meter, α = 55o with FK = 1,382, and in the saturated condition FK = 1,331. On single slope in the dry condition (H) = 17 meter, L = 13 meter, α = 45o so FK = 1,432, whereas in the saturated condition (H) = 13,5 meter and α = 40oso FK = 1,380. Reccomendation slope geometry (single slope) used hoek and bray method are in the dry condition (H) = 17 meter, L = 13 meter, α = 45o nilai FK = 1,46 and in the saturated condition (H) = 13,5 meter, L = 13 meter, α = 40o so FK = 1,33.Keywords: Disposal Area, Slope Stability, Bishop Method, Safety Factors, Back Analysis

Abstract

Abstract. The blasting process will produce rocks fragmentation. Thus, there is the possibility of risk of fragmentation, such as boulder size, loading process, and productivity of the equipment cannot be achieved. The Rock Engineering System (RES) is a predictive model for blasting rock fragmentation. This study uses 10 effective parameters that affect rock fragmentation. The data that has been collected is as much as 30 blasting, carried out at PT KPP Job Site BDMA, North Kalimantan. The prediction of fragmentation in this study also uses the Kuz Ram method and a modification from Cunningham (2005) as comparison data. To validate the method that has been used, the correlation coefficient (R2) and the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) will be analyzed between the actual measurements using split desktop software and the prediction method used. Between the RES model, the Kuz Ram method, and Cunningham method, the R2 value is obtained with a very strong relationship, are 0.97 in area 1 and 0.88 in area 2, and a low RMSE value are 24.31 in area 1 and 10.78 in area 2 using the RES model. So, based on this, the writer can make a blasting geometry to achieve productivity from the 2 theories used (R.L Ash and C.J Konya). Abstract

Abstract.PT.Cahaya Bumi Perdana is one of the underground coal mining companies in Sawahlunto City that applies the room and pillar mining method. The ventilation system used is a forcing system by arranging the blower in a relay. The blower system installation is not followed by the suction blower installation, so that dirty air is not immediately circulated out. Dirty air resulting from mining activities from one front is pumped back to the next front and increases the increase in dust density and temperature. From the results of temperature measurements in the main 02 hole (L02U) 28.6ºc and in the accompaniment 02 hole (L02P) 26.9ºc. The average humidity in L02U is 91.4% and in L02P 90.3%. This is contrary to government regulations in Kepmen 1827 K / 30 / MEM / 2018 which states "Air temperatures in underground mines must be maintained between 18ºc to 24ºc with a maximum relative humidity of 85%" so evaluation must be carried out. The total air requirement for mining activities in L02U is 12.6032 m3 / sec and in the L02P hole is 11.3205 m3 / sec. To meet these needs, the main hole requires 9 blowers and the accompanying hole needs 6 blowers, so that each hole must be added by 1 blow blower. In order to make the hole condition more comfortable, it needs to be added with a suction fan unit to accelerate the transportation of dirty air to the outside of the hole. Abstract

Abstract. In December 2019 there was an avalanche on the slope of access road to the mining site block Bukit Tambun. The avalanche resulted in a tunnel of BT 05 and an access road to the BT 04 tunnel covered with avalanche material. Analysis of the security Factor values (FK) and the geometry recommendations of slopes using the Bishop Simplified method. The result of the research is that the first avalanche on the block Bukit Tambun area is a field avalanche (circular failure) with the direction N140oE/70o. Second, The physical and mechanical properties of the Claystone Rocks test get the original fill weight of 14.14 KN/m3, the saturated content weight value of 18.6 KN/m3, the cohesion (c) = 7.1 kN/m2 and the inner sliding angle (φ) = 73.55 °. Third, recommend the geometry of slopes for dry conditions with a single slope angle of 65° while the overall slope angle of 37°, for the geometry of the slope in a saturated condition with a single slope angle of 25° while the overall slope angle of 18° and a condition slope of a half saturated conditions with a single slope angle 34° while the overall slope angle of 23°. Keywords: The Field of Diskontinu, Physical and Mechanical Properties of The Rocks, The Geometry of Slope, Reverse Analysis, Bishop Simplified, The Security Factor.

Abstract

Abstract. PT. Allied Indo Coal Jaya is one of the companies engaged in the coal mining business in the city of Sawahlunto with the status of the Mining Entrepreneurs Cooperation Agreement (PKP2B) in an area of 327.4 hectares. PT. Allied Indo Coal Jaya (PT. AICJ) has a constant production target every month with a target of 294,117.65 BCM / month to produce overburden. However, the realization of overburden excavation production in December did not reach the target of 175,708.73 BCM / month. In 1 fleet there is a loading device serving 3 to 5 unit so that there is a queue conveyance. This shows that the mismatch of loading and hauling equipment is not suitable so that the production and overburden stripping production costs are not optimal. Therefore it is necessary to plan the transportation needs and optimal costs for optimizing overburden production. To solve this, a more complex method is needed, using the Simplex method. Based on the Simplex Method, there are 10 units of dumptruck planning that were previously 13 units. then based on the application of the Linear Programming Method Simplex obtained optimal production obtained for overburden stripping of 277.37 BCM / hour with a production cost of 5.41 USD /BCM.

Abstract

Abstract. PT Bukit Asam Tbk is a coal mining industrial sector corporation which is located in Tanjung Enim, Sumatera Selatan. Pit of Muara Tiga Besar Utara (MTBU) utilized open pit mining system which needs a calculation and analysis of slope stability. Slope stability analysis was used to find out the actual condition of this slope area and to evaluate sequence design of mining plan. This slope stability analysis applied limit equilibrium method (Morgenstern-Price) and Monte Carlo’s simulation for probabilistic analysis. Then sensitivity analysis is also performed to find out the influential parameter in slope stability. In this research, the slope stability was conducted by implementing A-A’ and B-B’ cross sections which represent the condition of highwall, lowwall and sidewall. Results of slope stability based on the actual topography condition were FS 1.34 and PF 1.9% for overall slope highwall, FS 2.28 and PF 0% for overall slope lowwall, FS 1.89 and PF 0% for overall slope sidewall. Then, the result of sensitivity analysis showed that saturated density parameter, phi and water table are the influential parameter to the slope stability. Meanwhile, cohesion doesn't have any significant influence. The result of probability and sensitivity analysis obtained that slope is safe and appropriate with slope stability threshold value. Abstract

Abstract. To reach the companies' selling and production target with a balanced cost is a goal that must be done with a careful planning. This research was conducted due to the fact that PT. Mega Sejahtera Sugan often does not meet the production targets and there is no detailed cost in daily investing production activities.To find out the details of the investment that needs to be spent, as well as knowing the estimated revenue in mining production activities, it is necessary to analyze a short-term investment plan based on the monthly sequence of production. This research was conducted using quantitative methods, by doing calculations in solving problems in order to get the most effective solution. The solutions obtained for PT. Mega Sejahtera Sugan are to make improvements to employee working hours and add two new dumptrucks. With the addition of new units in production activities it is estimated that it can provide greater profits than the company's target. Production that has been done at PT. Mega Sejahtera Sugan are often does not meet the target, and there is a lot of waiting time for the excavator unit, thus resulting in the company's income achieved only 30% of the expected target, which is IDR 1,342,522,500.- from IDR 4,500,000.- per month. Meanwhile, if the dump truck unit is added, it will generate income of IDR 4,656,300,000.- per month, which will greatly benefits the company. Abstract  PT. Bukit Asam Tbk is one of the largest coal mining companies in Indonesia which has several mining locations, one of which is the Air Laya Barat Mine. Currently, the depth of the Air Laya Barat Mine is -57 m in section A-A '. In order for coal production to increase in the next quarter, the TAL Barat pit mining plan will optimize to a depth of -80 m because there is still coal that allows it to be mined. In the optimization plan, important things that need to be analyzed, one of which is the slope safety factor, the method used in this research is the bishop method. As a result of the research the conclusions are as follows. First, the weight of OB (γ) = 20.07kN / m3, cohesion (c ') = 25.20 kPa and the inner angle of shear ((') = 41,63°. Weight of Lower C (γ) = 23.52 kN / m3, cohesion (c ') = 22.55 kN / m2 and inner shear angle (ϕ') = 40,59 °. Second, for modeling using the Geostudio Slope / W 2012 program with FK Overall Slope is 2,788. So that the stability of the slope against the optimization plan from a depth of -57 m to a depth of -80 m is still safe to continue

Abstract. Groundwater is a vital natural resource for humans whose availability is diminishing due to population growth. Where the infiltration area located east of the city of Padang began to changes into housing, offices, etc. This causes a reduction in catchment areas, flooding and decreasing environmental quality, especially groundwater in the Air Timbalun and Sungai Pisang Watershed. To reduce flooding in the Air Timbalun and Sungai Pisang Watershed, a study of placement of infiltration wells was conducted based on infiltration rate values, physical quality of groundwater, and soil texture.The study was conducted at 26 points in the alluvium area of the Air Timbalun and Sungai Pisang watershed. With the data obtained of groundwater physical quality data, soil texture, and other supporting data.Based on the data obtained the average value of infiltration rate in the study area of 0.058828 cm/minute is classified as a low absorption area (<0.5 cm/minute). After conducting research by observant statistical analysis of linear regression, physical quality of water, soil texture, lithology conditions, and land use in the Air Timbalun and Sungai Pisang Watershed. So the placement of absorption wells is spread over 14 points in the Air Timbalun and Sungai Pisang Watershed, Padang City. Abstract. PT. Ansar Terang Crushindo site Atc 1 is a company that conducts andesite mining which has 10.899.982 tons of andesite reserves and 20 years of mine life. The parameters for this research can be seen in terms of economics, needs for tools’ estimation, and the income from the andesite selling. Then investment analysis and economics appropriateness of the mine are needed to see the prospect of andesite reserves whether they have economic value in the location. The parameters used to determine the economics appropriateness in the production of andesite at PT. Ansar Terang Crushindo site Atc 1 is Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PP). Based on the result of economics analysis research, it was obtained the Net Present Value Rp. 1.794.057.062.400,, Internal Rate Return 41%, and Payback Period of 2,8 years, so the project is worthy to run. The estimated equipment needs are 1 unit of Komatsu PC 400 Excavator, and 4 Mitsubishi Fuso 250 PS FN 627 40T Dump Truck to overburden removal, and for ore getting requires 1 Komatsu PC 300 Excavator and 3 units of Mitsubishi Fuso 250 PS FN 627 40T.
