Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the average results of learning science the subject matter of the structure and function of plants between students whose learning uses a group investigation learning model with a model of picture and picture. This research includes field research, with the method used is comparative causal. The population of this study were all fourth grade students of SDN 45/1 Sridadi in the first semester of the 2014/2015 academic year, consisting of IV-A classes with 25 students, IV-B classes with 24 students. So the total population was 47 participants student. Because the population is less than 100, the entire population is sampled, with class IV-A consisting of 25 students as experimental class B and class IV-B consisting of 24 students as experimental class A. Data is collected by documentation method and test. The collected data were analyzed using statistical analysis of test differences in the average experimental class 1 (group investigation) and experimental class 2 (picture and picture) with the analysis of the two-party t-test test. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that: the average science learning outcomes in the subject matter of plant structure and function of IV-A class students with the group investigation model is 84.44, while the average mathematics learning outcomes of students studying with a model of picture and picture is 77.29.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the views of teachers on aspects of attitude assessment and aspects of skills assessment which after the implementation of Permen No 53 Year 2015 is very well looked at by teachers from the old regulations. The research method is qualitative descriptive research. This research was conducted at SDN 55/1 Sridadi, class I of the 2016 school year, namely in 2 first-class guardian teachers. Data obtained from the results of questionnaires, and semi-structured interviews. The results of the study describe the views of teachers on aspects of attitude assessment and aspects of skills assessment which after the implementation of Regulation No. 53 of 2015 was very well looked at by the teacher from the old regulations. The results of interviews in a structured way are obtained by the opinion of the teacher agreeing / good towards the new revision and the overall results of the distribution of the teacher questionnaire are already in a very good stage of understanding. So the teacher's perception of the new assessment system is good because the teacher can easily understand the implementation and implementation of the 2013 Curriculum with the issuance of Permen No 53 year 205, but the teacher still has problems in processing student grades which are considered complicated. Therefore, further training needs to be done so that the teacher's understanding of the assessment in the 2013 curriculum gets better.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using media images on learning comprehension in class IV students. The hypothesis of this study is the use of picture media influences the learning comprehension of fourth grade students of SDN No.186 / 1 Sridadi. This type of research is experimental research with a research population of fourth grade students SDN No.186/1993 in the academic year 2014/2015 as many as I Class. The sample consisted of 2 classes namely class IV, which amounted to 30 students divided into II classes namely class IV.I (experimental class) and class IV.II (control class). Based on the results of the research obtained, the average class IV.I = 7.37 higher than class IV.II = 6.5. After analyzed using Test t obtained t table of 1.701 and tcount 2.41. Because tcount> t table (2.41> 1.701) then the price of 2.41 is at Ha revenue. then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So there are differences in students' understanding of learning in class IV.I and class IV.II. It can be concluded that the use of gamelan media can influence the learning comprehension of fourth grade students at SDN No.186 / 1 Sridadi.

Abstract

The aim of this study to elucidate the role of teachers is shaping the student’s responsibility class V SD Negeri 111/1 Muara Bulian. This study uses approch qualitative descriptive. The data collection is clone by observation, and interview teachniques. The data analysis technique with data reduction, data presenstation conclusion and verikation the realiability of the results obtained by the triangulation teachninque in order to meet the criteria kreadibilitas realiance and objectivity. The role of teachers in shaping the student’s responsibility class V SD Negeri 111/1 Muara Bulian. Teachers have been instrumental in shaping the student’s responsibility. It can be seen from adherence to all indicators. Howerver there are two descriptors that al though already implemented teacher, they found some students who do not responsible like not doing homework or cheating during given training. The conclusion of this study is that teachers in shaping the student’s responsibility class V SD Negeri 111/1 Muara Bulian. Teachers use role as education and teachers as mentors.

Abstract

This study aims to describe what character values ​​are formed in the implementation of my theme learning using 2013 Curriculum on grade 1 students of SDN 131 / IV Jambi City. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with research informants, namely class teacher. To collect data carried out observations, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the teacher embodies the character values ​​of students through directing students to always pray to the ultimate God so that the knowledge taught is useful and easily obtained by reading prayers, directing students to always maintain class cleanliness, and living in harmony with classmates, motivate students to work on assignments independently, invite students to listen and listen to the material delivered calmly and orderly, give assignments to students, invite students to use objects around the school, provide opportunities for students to show their work in painting, guide students in working training and giving direction to students that work at home should be done at home not at school, providing opportunities for students to ask for material that is not understood, exchanging student seats every day, teachers inviting students to play while learning outside the classroom, directing the student students to help each other, provide motivation to students not to lazy in attending lessons and assign assignments to students.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the perceptions of fourth grade teachers on the application of the STAD Model in Science lessons at the elementary school 47 of Jambi city. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The informants of this study were class teachers, principals and IV elementary school students. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses steps of data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results of this study can be concluded that in implementing the STAD model the teacher performs the material presentation phase, group work, individual tests, individual development score calculations, team awards and in preparing the STAD model by preparing activity sheets and answer sheets, assigning groups, presenting material , doing group activities, evaluating, rewarding group achievements, recalculating the group's initial score. As for the obstacles faced, lack of student interest, insufficient class hours, constraints in the division of groups and students are not familiar with the STAD model.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the process of tutoring services in reducing learning difficulties of fourth grade students of SDN 13 / I Muara Bulian. The method of this research is descriptive qualitative research with the subject of 1 grade IV teacher. The data in this study were obtained in 3 ways; the first is by conducting observations to find out the process of giving tutoring to students in reducing learning difficulties, the second conducting interviews to find out information about tutoring services, and documentation of observations made during the learning activities taking place. The results of this study are that teachers provide tutoring services to students who have learning difficulties in order to reduce learning difficulties faced by these students. In its implementation the teacher performs several stages, namely the introduction of students who experience learning problems, efforts to help students who experience learning problems and the provision of assistance to alleviate learning problems, namely the provision of tutoring services in accordance with learning difficulties faced by students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Number Head Together learning model on PKn learning motivation of VA students in SDN 146 / IV Jambi City. The research method used by the researcher in this study was an experimental study of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design with research subjects in class VA SDN 146 / IV Kota Jambi. Based on the results of the study data analysis the influence of the Number Head Together model and learning motivation was r_xy 0.81 with very strong category. After analyzing the magnitude of the significance of the effect of the Number Head Together model on learning motivation with questionnaire data, namely F_count> F table or 417.144> 4.28. It is concluded that the effect of variable X on Y is significant and Ha is accepted while Ho is rejected. In addition to carrying out the significance test, the linearity test with the following values ​​was carried out, for price questionnaire data F_count = 9.45 and F table = 9.68 (9.45 ≤ 9.68) with a significant level (α) = 0.05, and numerator = 16, and no denominator 5. So, it can be concluded that the variable Number Head Together learning model data on PKn learning motivation in VA students of SDN 146 / IV in Jambi City has a Linear pattern. From the discussion above, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the Number Head Together learning model on PKn learning motivation of VA students in SDN 146 / IV Jambi City.

Abstract

This research aimed at improving the capability of singing the National Anthems of the students of class IV of SDN 111/I Muara Bulian by employing the Solfegio method. The results of the research are expected to be useful for the development of musical science (singing) in particular, to be a reference for the next research and to be an additional information as well as consideration for either teachers or schools to employ the Solfegio method during learning musics (singing).This class action research employed Kemis and Mc. Taggart model using phases such as : planning, action, observing, and reflecting. The subject of the research was thirty four students of class IV SDN 111/I Muara Bulian. The data were collected through observation and dual analysis, i.e. the descriptive qualitative analysis and the simple statistics quantitative analysis. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that to improve the capability of singing the National Anthems of the Students of Class IV SDN 111/I Muara Bulian can be accomplished through carrying out the Solfegio method during class musics (singing) by practicing to sing: (1) the musical scale, (2) the interval tone, and (3) the melody.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the value of religious character in the school environment in class IV SDN NO 20 / I Jembatan Mas. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The implementation of this research was in SD Negeri 20 / I Jembatan Mas. Administratively it entered the Pemayung District of Batanghari Regency. Data collection is done by observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques are done by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The conclusion of this study is the role of the teacher in planting religious character in the school environment for fourth grade students SDN No.20 / I Jembatan Mas has sought to maximize using the role as an educator while acting as a teacher, both inside and outside the class and has been categorized well. By means of spending time to pray in congregation with discipline and discipline in the mosque, good manners to speak between students, students and teachers, dressing close to genitals, cultivating smiles, greetings and greetings, pairing the work of students in the form of photos and motto containing messages religious values. but it is expected that the need for participation is not only from the implementation but also the support of the role of the family and the community around the students need to be considered. In religious values ​​can also be contained in the form of; the spirit of sacrifice, caring for others, helping each other, the behavior of the tradition of prayer in congregation, love to pray, diligent study and other noble behavior.
