Abstract

The pencak silat techniques used in pencak silat competitions in the sparring category are very diverse, until now there has been no research that provides evidence of which techniques are often used in matches, from punches, kicks to slams. This study aims to determine the percentage of the use of fighting category pencak silat techniques in one of the prestigious pencak silat competitions, namely the National Student Sports Week. The method used is descriptive quantitative, the results of the research data are in the form of percentage figures for the use of techniques. The selected subjects were all athletes who competed in the championship, starting from the preliminary to the final with a total of 180 matches. Data collection used a laptop media device to view match recordings, then filled in the tally form was carried out by 4 people, 2 people to calculate the acquisition of the blue corner athletes, 2 people to calculate the acquisition of the red corner athletes. This calculation is done carefully, it takes 2 months. After all calculation forms have been collected, enter the data obtained for the formula into Microsoft Excel to determine the percentage of the technique used. Conclusion: Ranking techniques that are often used in the 2017 National Student Sports Week are 1. Crescent Kick (26.66%), 2. Punch (14.52%), 3. Front Kick (14.16%), 4. Side Kick (12.07%), 5 , Cut (9.97%), 6. Throwback (9.55%), 7. Block (7.50%), 8. Avoidance (4.20%) 9. Sweep (1.00%), and 10. Back kick (0.37%). Techniques that have an attacking type are techniques that are often used, including sickle kicks, followed by punches, then front kicks and side kicks. Even so, defensive techniques also have a fairly high percentage too, though not as high as attacking techniques. So it is also important for coaches to prepare both techniques, both attack techniques and defensive techniques.

This study aims to determine the level of need for adaptive physical education e-books for physical education students. This research is qualitative descriptive. Instruments and data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, and interviews. A total of 1 lecturer supporting adaptive physical education courses, and 22 students selected purposively were involved to provide research data. Data analysis using data triangulation. The results of the analysis of the data stated that: 1) lecturers have limited time to develop an e-book, and 2) students need the e-book to support the lecture process. So it can be concluded that the need for adaptive PE e-books is in the very high category. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an e-book to meet the needs of physical education students in participating in adaptive physical education lectures at the Bengkulu University physical education study program.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student motivation for TP floor gymnastics learning in the Undiksha Penjaskesrek study program during the even semester of 2021-2022. This study is quantitative descriptive research in the form of a survey. The population in this study were all students in the Physical Education Study Program who attended TP lectures. The total number of floor gymnastics lessons for 2021–2022 is 114. The sample selection method used total sampling, i.e., the population became the research sample, so the number of samples in this study was 114. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive statistics with interval categories. The results of this study are the intrinsic factors of student learning motivation in following the TP. Floor gymnastics learning gets a value of 70.76% if it is converted into a category interval included in the high category. While the intrinsic factors of student learning motivation in following the TP receives a value of 70.4% when converted into a category interval included in the high category, floor gymnastics learning receives a value of 70.4% when converted into a category interval included in the high category. Students learn motivation by following the TP. Floor gymnastics learning in the Undiksha Penjaskesrek study program in the even semester of 2021/2022 will be 68.5% based on the two indicators on the variable. When converted into category intervals, student motivation for floor gymnastics learning falls into the high category. Thus, students of the Undiksha Penjaskesrek study program are advised to maintain and increase motivation in participating in the TP floor gymnastics learning in the Undiksha Penjaskesrek study program in the even semester of 2021/2022.
