The field of education that is the main focus of this journal is the Administration of Education, Guidance and Counseling, Educational Technology, Elementary School Teacher Education, Early Childhood Education Teacher Education, Extraordinary Education, Outside School Education. The main focus consistis: (a) evaluation reports and research findings; (b) problem solving, conceptual and methodological, and / or; (c) the text concerning consideration of the implications for action, and / or (d) an extensive review of the book (extensive book reviews) of the intended field.

<![CDATA[The purpose I made this article is learning to know about extracurricular activities for the elementary school. This article is based on my opinion, analysis scientific, and theoretical review. The result from my thought is can be concluded that to increase student’s confidence the school can do that with extracurricular activities. Program extracurricular divided into two types there are extracurricular required (scouting) and extracurricular preference. Strategy the teacher to increase student confidence gives them reinforcement and a developmental approach.]]>

<![CDATA[The best practice is motivated by the task and function of the principal as an Educator, Manager, Administrator, Supervisor, Leadership, Innovator, and Motivator. Not all principals, especially in Elementary School (SD) in Payakumbuh perform tasks and functions so that the quality of education has not increased. The best practice is motivated by the task and function of the principal as an Educator, Manager, Administrator, Supervisor, Leadership, Innovator, and Motivator. Not all principals, especially in Elementary School (SD) in Payakumbuh perform tasks and functions so that the quality of education has not increased. The phenomenon that occurred in SD Negeri 02 Payakumbuh. Much effort is being made by schools to improve quality. The goal is to know the management of school management and know-how to empower the citizens of the school. Efforts taken to overcome the problem is to run the program Management KOMPAS (Communication and participation). The activities designed in this program are 1) Application of effective Communication Management, 2) Implementation of Participation Management. Activities in the program have an impact and result from the academic and non-academic aspects.]]>

<![CDATA[Penanaman pendidikan literasi media massa untuk anak sekolah dasar sangat penting dan bermanfaat untuk masa depan. Pencegahan akibat negatif yang ditimbulkan oleh media massa akan lebih baik apabila dilakukan sejak dini, yaitu masih dalam sekolah dasar. Karena anak sekolah dasar akan membawa pengalaman belajarnya saat ia menjadi dewasa. Oleh karena itu penulis menjelaskan tentang hakikat dari literasi media massa, pengaruh media massa terhadap perkembangan anak sekolah dasar dan juga solusi yang ditawarkan untuk menerapkan literasi media massa pada anak sekolah dasar.]]>

<![CDATA[In learning a clever child must help a less intelligent child, a strong child should help the weak, and each child should encourage each other to foster a strong learning motivation. This study is based on the problems: (a) How to improve student achievement by applying the cooperative learning method of STAD model? (b) How is the influence of STAD model of cooperative learning method toward student's learning motivation? The purpose of this research are: (a) Want to know the improvement of student learning achievement after application of cooperative learning method STAD model. (b) Want to know the influence of student learning motivation after applied STAD cooperative learning model method. This research uses action research for three rounds. Each round consists of four stages: design, activity and observation, reflection, and revision. The target of this research is a student of Class XI IPA 1 SMAN 2 Batang Anai. Data obtained informative test results, observation sheet of teaching and learning activity. From the analyst's result, it is found that the students' learning achievement has increased from cycle I to cycle III that is, cycle I (65,22%), cycle II (78,26%), cycle III (86,96%). The conclusion of this research is cooperative learning method STAD model can have a positive effect on student's motivation to study grade XI IPA 1 SMAN 2 BATANG ANAI, and this learning model can be used as one of mathematics learning alternative.]]>

<![CDATA[Perubahan yang terjadi sekarang ini merupakan akibat dari bergesernya aktivitas anak dalam bermain, saat ini anak lebih senang bermain menggunakan permainan digital seperti bermain games online di warnet maupun di handphone. Permainan tradisional semakin tergeser dan terlupakan dengan adanya teknologi yang semakin modern dan canggih. Padahal dampak yang ditimbulkan dari bermain video games sangat memprihatinkan, menyebabkan prestasi belajar anak menjadi menurun, membuat anak melupakan segalanya, dan yang lebih parah membuat anak terjerumus dalam tindakan kriminal. Untuk itu permainan tradisional harus dikembalikan lagi karena dapat menimbulkan dampak yang positif bagi anak, dan menciptakan generasi penerus bangsa yang berkarakter unggul.]]>

<![CDATA[This research describes the correlation between school climate and job satisfaction in public elementary schools in Sub District of Padang Barat, Padang. The population of the research is 261 teachers, with a sample of 76 people by using cluster technique. The main instrument of this research is questionnaire using Likert scale model that had been tested for its validity and reliability. Based on the research, the school climate is in good category (79,74%) and the job satisfaction is in high category (85,79%). The results also showed the significant correlation between school climate and job satisfaction in public elementary schools in sub district of Padang Barat, Padang.]]>
