Abstract

This article approach uses qualitative methods with descriptive data collection techniques from literature studies. The data analysis technique uses the Seidel model by going through several stages of the process, namely identifying the collected data by means of data clarification, licensing, analysis, and data categorization. The discussion includes the meaning and differences between measurement, assessment, evaluation as well as the purpose and function of evaluation in Arabic language learning based on a review of educational administration. The three terms have different meanings but are interrelated with each other. The activity of comparing certain criteria to the results of observations is called measurement. Self-assessment means the process of collecting data by measuring, interpreting, describing, and interpreting some evidence of information from the measurement results. Meanwhile, evaluation is an advanced process of measurement and assessment data. The evaluation objectives to be achieved are determined by the evaluation function itself, which is divided into an instructional evaluation function, an administrative evaluation function, and a guidance evaluation function. The purpose and function of evaluation in the learning process go hand in hand, namely to obtain accurate information or data related to the level of achievement of student competencies in accordance with the instructional objectives or indicators formulated.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country whose people have different customs related to different identities, races, communities and religions. So we want to teach multiculturalism, especially schools that respect existing differences, so that they don't become a source of quarrels and divisions. This mentality of shared resilience will create an everlasting dynamic, a social property that is a public personality that must be protected. In multicultural schooling, every progress and human culture is in an equal position without end. One of the important goals of the idea of a multicultural school is to help students acquire information and view other people with different identities, societies, and character values. Multicultural learning has four qualities, in particular: the value of equality, the value of resilience, the value of a sound-based system, and the value of pluralism. The qualities above seem to complement each other in responding to multiculturalism. As a result, multicultural schools are training that suppresses the most common ways to prohibit lifestyles that respect each other, earnestly, and whisper openness to social diversity that lives in the midst of general society with a high degree of majority.

Abstract

Indonesia as a Muslim-majority country and the survey results show that the most Indonesian are religious. Religious education also gets facilities from the state as a form of support for people's needs for religion. Religiosity, and education are hypothesized to be determinants of risk preference. This study aims to uncover the relationship between risk preferences and Islamic faith-based education in the Indonesian context. This research tries to combine aspects of religiosity and educational aspects in one framework, namely Islamic faith-based education where previous studies do not unite aspects of religiosity and education. This research is expected to provide a more complete picture or map of the risk preferences of graduates of Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of moral values into the LiSA program at SMP IT Insan Kamill Batusangkar. The research was motivated by the existence of the LiSA program at SMP IT Insan Kamil Batusangkar and the low awareness of students towards the environment. The research question is how to integrate moral values into the LiSA program at SMP IT Insan Kamil Batusangkar? The research was conducted with a qualitative approach using the field study method. Data were collected by means of field observations, teacher and student interviews, and documentation of the LiSA program. Data were analyzed deductively and presented in a narrative manner to answer research questions. The results of the research are the integration of moral values into the LiSA program at SMP IT Insan Kamil Batusangkar in the form of moral education towards the environment as well as increasing student awareness and independence in protecting the environment.

Abstract

Pesantren has been considered a model of educational institution that has advantages both from the aspect of scientific tradition and the internalization of the morality of Muslims. Pesantren are very good at dialectical with conflicting cultural theses and give birth to a synthesis of new social constructions. Pesantren is also the most creative and innovative social institution. Because of its philosophy: al-muhafadhu 'alal qadimis sholeh wal akhdu bil Jadidil Ashlah. The purpose of this study is to find out the general description of the orientation of education in the Sidogiri Pesantren with the various challenges of social change that occur in society. This research is important because it tries to reveal how the Sidogiri Pesantren carries out its roles to the expectations and needs of the community who require services from the Sidogiri Pesantren related to religious services, education, and other social roles. By using a case study at the Sidogiri Pesantren, data was collected through a documentation study by tracking related literature sources, documents or archives, and observations. Among the findings are: 1) The change in the form of the education unit managed by the Sidogiri pesantren is essentially a change from the non-formal education system to the formal education system, in the form of madrasah education units. However, the Sidogiri Pesantren still maintains its salafiyah education system; 2) The Pesantren is always innovating and adapting; 3) The independence of the Sidogiri Pesantren in the economic field is very beneficial for both the students.

Abstract

The sociological approach has an important role in solving various problems faced by mankind. This study aims to: first, examine the meaning of the sociological approach, second, explain the urgency of the sociological approach in Islamic education, describe the importance of the sociological approach in Islamic education, use it as a tool to understand religion because religion was revealed for social purposes, third examine the implementation of the sociological approach in Islamic education. The method used is library research by exploring primary sources, namely books and secondary sources in the form of national and international scientific journals. The results of this study indicate that: first, Islamic Education is a perspective or paradigm contained in a field of knowledge which is then used in understanding religion, studying the reciprocal relationship between religion and society, and  the urgency of the sociological approach in Islamic studies is to formulate values or rules in society, tools to understand religion, second,  the urgency of the sociological approach in Islamic education is to formulate values or rules in society, tools to understand religion, and theoretically be able to provide representative formulations in the scientific world, as well as being able to understand social phenomena with regard to worship in a significant way and muamalat, and third whereas one example of the implementation of the sociological approach is evidenced by the existence of tolerance in social relations in the community.

Abstract

Background: In the learning process, students must have a stable motivation. Motivation is an inherent factor in everyone's learning activities. Human motivation is part of the need and becomes the most important part in encouraging someone to do something. However, it is often found that students have poor achievements not because of a lack of ability, but because they do not have the motivation to learn, so they do not try to develop their abilities to the fullest. Various efforts to increase student motivation in learning have been widely applied, but there is lack of attention to the internal factors of calm learning in students (inner calm).Purpose: This literature review tries to dig deeper into about the effectiveness of dhikr relaxation to increase students' learning motivation. Method: A writing method that uses literature review by collecting data from phenomena raised from various sources, both journals, books and references that are relevant to the issues and topics raised. Conclusion: The Dzikr relaxation method has very good effectiveness as a form of effort to increase student motivation to learn.

Abstract

This article describes the understanding of the educational cultural approach to religion and socio-cultural development. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between culture and religious education that is interrelated. With the changes and developments of an increasingly rapid era. This then leads to the fact that students as a new generation should have quality and understanding that can adapt to the progress of the times. The success of a nation can be seen and measured by the generation of students in the present and the future. Religious education cannot be separated from a cultural approach to the learning process and the formation of the social life of students. Therefore, this transformation can shape the attitudes and social souls of students. This study uses a qualitative method. Therefore, in processing data through literature review analysis of the already available datum. Meanwhile, the approach used is pedagogy, which aims to see the process of religious learning directly. Thus, it is hoped that there will be results where the new generation in this case students have good quality potential. So that they can develop their religious knowledge, and can apply it well to the fabric of the surrounding community. Be able to provide answers to various problems in the socio-cultural development of religion through an educative cultural approach.
