Abstract

This research purpose to describe of lyrics values Ebiet G Ades song with the title for us to ponder as a source of character education values. This  research uses a qualitative approach using Levi-Strauss structural analysis and Paul Ricoeur hermeneutics to find the ceritheme and episodes in every lyrics Ebiet G Ades song titled for us to ponder and later will be used as a source of character education values. The results of the research show that there are several character values in the lyrics Ebiet G Ades song that value is the character value in relation to God; Religious. Character values in relation to yourself; Hard Work, Discipline, Responsibility, Independent; Curiosity. Character values in relation to others; Friendly/ Communicative. Character values in relation to the environment; Care for the Environment, Care for Social.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to understand how the application of Minang Culture Local Wisdom values "in the earth is grounded, there is the sky dijunjuang" in the Context of Ethnopedagogy by Perantau Minang in the City of Surabaya. This research is qualitative in nature with an ethnographic approach that was carried out for three months (August-October 2018) to Minangkabau migrants in the city of Surabaya. The results of the study show that there are at least five Minangkabau cultural values that are very important to be included as part of the ethopathic material. The nine cultural values are: 1) Caring for and maintaining Mother Language; 2)œDima bumi dipijak, disitu langit dijunjuang; 3)œNan elok dek awak katuju dek urang; Lamak dek awak lamak dek urang; Sakik dek awak sakik dek urang; 4)œKaratau madang di hulu, Babuah babungo balun; Marantau Bujang dahulu, Di rumah baguno balun; 5)œBaraja ka na manang, mancontoh ka nan sudah; dan œTakuruang nak dilua, taimpik nak diateh; 6) œYang buta penghembus lesung, yang pekak pelepas bedil, yang lumpuh penghuni rumah, yang kuat pemikul beban, yang bodoh untuk disuruh-suruh, dan yang pintar lawan berunding.; 7) œHiduik baraka, baukue jo bajangko; 8) œNan tuo dihormati, nan ketek disayangi, samo gadang bawo bakawan, ibu jo bapak diutamokan.;9) œAdat basandi syarak, syarak basandi kitabullah Keywords: ethnopedagogy, local wisdom, Minangkabau culture.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the TASC learning model on students' ability to solve problems in natural resource management material. This study uses an experimental method with the design of Non-equivalent Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. The results of this study indicate that the TASC learning model has an effect on students' problem solving abilities in natural resource management materials, where experimental class students who use the TASC learning model have better problem solving skills than the control class that uses the class discussion model. in natural resource management material. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it was concluded that there were significant differences between students learning using the TASC learning model (Active Thinking in Social Context) with students learning to use cooperative type class discussion learning models to solve problems.

Abstract

Development research aims to produce effective historical textbooks for use in historical learning. Historical textbooks developed using the learning model MORE (model, observe, reflect, explain). The type of research is development by adapting the Thiagarajan 4-D development model. Data collection techniques in this study used a sheet of validation, questionnaire, observation, and test. Data obtained from the results of the study were analyzed by statistical and descriptive tests. The empirical test in this study used themethod pre-experimental withdesign one group pretest posttest. The subjects of this study were students of class X IPS 2 at MAN 1 Pontianak. Research results, 1) The quality of the history textbook model MORE has good quality based on the evaluation of the validator. 2) Historical textbooks using themodel MORE can have a significant influence on historical learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the consistent changes of students' learning motivation resulting from the learning process using the STAD learning model and its effect on student learning outcomes. This study was the pretest-posttest control group design. Sample in this study was VIII class who were randomly determined. The data obtained then tested different using independent sample t-test. The results showed that the two research classes experienced a positive change in the motivation and learning outcomes of students. In the experimental class with STAD learning model showed motivation and learning outcomes that were better than class control. The post-test calculation shows that learners' motivation with the Sig. (2-tailed) 0.003, where 0.003 <0.05 means that there are significant differences. Learning outcomes that show the value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000, where 0,000 <0,05 means that there are significant differences between the experimental and control classes. The existence of significant differences indicates that there is an effect of the STAD learning model on students' motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the students' creative thinking skills in social studies learning using the Problem Posing model. The subjects in this study were 28 eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Tulangan academic year 2019. Researchers used primary data and data collection techniques, namely tests. Tests were carried out before and after learning. The results showed that the test results of independent sample t-test posttest creative thinking abilities of learners shows that there are differences in the ability of creative thinking between the experimental class and class control after being given treatment. Based on the analysis of the t-test, it was concluded that the problem posing learning model influenced students' creative thinking abilities. This research is useful for teachers, that is, they can develop teacher insights to be more innovative and creative in creating fun learning activities in the classroom and increasing students' knowledge competencies and creative thinking abilities. The problem posing learning model is implemented into the class because it can improve the ability of creative thinking and understanding in addressing problems and conflicts that occur in society and is expected to optimize the ability to think creatively.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Test the feasibility of student worksheets based on the practice of Problem based learning models in social studies (2) Test the effectiveness of student worksheets based on Problem based learning models for changes in student learning outcomes in social studies. The research on the development of this learning media is based on the ADDIE model. The research subjects were seventh grade students of SMPIT Insan Permata Bojonegoro. The selection of subjects by random or random sampling was class VII A as a treatment class with 30 children and class VII B as a control class with 30 children. The results of this study indicate. First, teaching materials in the form of worksheets for social studies -based practicum students in PBL models according to learning experts fall into the criteria of "feasible". According to the material expert on the contents of the material on the social studies student worksheets Integrated practicum based on the results of validation stated "very feasible". And the validation results from media experts get the category "feasible". In general, student worksheets fall into the "very feasible" category. The effectiveness test shows that there are significant differences between classes using LKPD and classes that do not use. This is indicated by the average posttest values between the experimental class and the control class which also differ significantly.
